DESCRIPTION:Returns “In the Park with Mom and Dad“\, the Environmental Education program in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park with guided excursions offering many environmental education and sustainability insights for children and families in many wonderful places in the Park. \n  For the summer\, activities are proposed in many known and lesser-known places and trails of the Park\, all with special and important characteristics.  You will discover the Valle del Mis with the splendid “Cadini del Brentòn“\, a sequence of 15 deep cavities carved by the waters of the Brentòn stream; the Val Canzoi with its natural biodiversity; the Val di Zoldo with forests rich in legends; meadows and thickets of Salet\, where the Forest Company is present with beautiful horses\, and where there are many wild animals nearby such as frogs\, toads\, deer\, and roe deer. \n  The park is characterized by a great variety of environments: from the riparian areas in the valley bottom to the rocky walls at high altitudes\, passing through broadleaf forests\, coniferous forests\, high-altitude shrublands\, meadows\, and scree.   Participation in activities is free.  \nMost of the itineraries are easy proposals for everyone: families with children\, adults-seniors\, people with disabilities or those who have difficulties walking\, and also for those who are lazy and love to visit special and beautiful places without too much effort.  \n  The Dolomiti Bellunesi always offer routes\, discoveries\, and surprises for everyone! \n \nFree guided tours for everyone \nThe morning excursions have a maximum number of participants\, and it is recommended to register at least two days in advance at the email address guide.pndb@gmail.com or by calling or sending a message (WhatsApp\, Telegram\, or SMS) to 3290040808. Meeting point at Piazzale Nevegal. \nOn July 26 at 3:00 p.m. it will be the turn of BICINKANA\, organized in collaboration with FIAB Belluno\, a playful-educational activity aimed at children aged 5 to 10 to promote sustainable mobility and outdoor play. Meeting point at the Playground of the Albergo Nevegal. \nOn August 1 at 8:30 p.m. the concert “I Due Golfi” will be held at the Caldart Hall\, a musical journey between Venice and Naples through voices\, guitar\, and mandolin. \nOn August 5 at 9:30 a.m.\, in Pian Longhi\, a Walking Gymnastics session will be held led by instructor Elena Auditore\, combining physical activity and contact with nature. Journey through the caves of Nevegal” will be organized with the Le Solve group of CAI Belluno\, dedicated to discovering the local speleological heritage. SUMMARY:Un Prete visionario - Antonio Sperti e l'orfanotrofio di Belluno
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, August 12 the presentation of the book by Leopoldo A. Cafaro “A Visionary Priest – Antonio Sperti and the Orphanage of Belluno” will take place at Villa Buzzati Il Granaio. \nIn 1855\, Belluno was struck by a severe cholera epidemic\, and many children suddenly found themselves orphaned. \nThe Belluno native Don Antonio Sperti (1821-1898) was so affected by this that he decided to abandon his position as director of the Gregoriano Gymnasium to devote himself to the poor orphans. In December 1855\, he rented some rooms in the former Capuchin convent in the central Piazza Campitello in Belluno and brought in 14 boys: thus\, the Sperti Orphanage was born. After only three years\, Don Antonio was able to open a new\, more welcoming and spacious location\, and later\, not content\, he wanted to renovate and reopen the nearby church of San Rocco\, which was then abandoned. Throughout his life\, he faced debts as well as criticism related to numerous initiatives\, but with his unwavering faith\, he managed to overcome all difficulties\, even in creative ways. Surprising were the pilgrimages\, true tours with the orphanage’s band that traveled on foot through the provinces of Northern Italy. In 1861\, the band arrived (this time by train) in Turin\, where Don Sperti met his colleague and mentor Don Giovanni Bosco. \nAt the end of the presentation\, the author is pleased to offer a refreshment to the participants. \nBook presentation

DESCRIPTION:Documentary \nWednesday\, August 12 at 8.30 p.m.\, at the Cultural Center Al Vejò\, in Valmorel\, a presentation of the docufilm “Biography of a Brio” is scheduled. The event is part of the Wednesday series dedicated to documentaries included in the program of Valmorel under the Stars. \nThe documentary tells the life and works of the Belluno artist Roberto Bristot (1961-2022)\, known as “Brio”. A versatile artist\, he created original characters in foam rubber\, was a painter\, and authored theatrical performances and variety shows. He also dedicated time and energy to the world of volunteering\, actively collaborating on numerous initiatives in the Belluno area. \nThe documentary was created by students from the DAMS at the University of Padua\, under the supervision of Professor Mirco Melanco.

DESCRIPTION:Guaranteed fun! \nOne of the most anticipated festivals of the summer in Borgo Valbelluna: Qualche dì a Fara de Mel returns with an intense program for eight days of music\, sports\, celebration\, and culture! \nIt kicks off big on Saturday\, August 1 with the spiedo\, the start of the Green Volley tournament and music with Sound Color (acoustic) and Mens Rea (Rock). \nOn Sunday\, August 2 at lunch\, the beef tagliata is unmissable\, on the sports field more Green Volley and a rugby demonstration. On stage a bit of dance music with Note dai Cortili and following DJ set (Siry\, Drumblood & Lorenz). \nAfter the midweek break\, it restarts on Friday\, August 7 with the folk sounds of Rudemà and Susanna Live and a fish menu you can also enjoy on Saturday accompanied by the JB Band \, DJ Elia and the opening of the legendary kiosks. On the soccer field\, the Lino Comiotto tournament kicks off and also the fun match National Mayors against Busana Group. \nOn Sunday\, August 9 a typical Belluno menu with the legendary schiz with polenta being the main attraction. In the evening\, it’s time to dance Latin with Issam. \nThen it restarts on Thursday\, August 13 with the rib steak (exclusively by reservation)\, the Dodgeball tournament and DJ Radio Wow.
