DESCRIPTION:In the heart of summer\, from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August 2025\, the hamlet of Villaga di Feltre welcomes the traditional Sagra di San Fermo\, a popular festival that combines sports\, gastronomy\, and entertainment for both young and old\, set against the beautiful pre-Alpine backdrop. \nThe weekend opens on Friday evening with a traditional dinner featuring polenta and grilled sardines\, accompanied by an art exhibition on the theme “My Olympics\,” with submissions due by 6:00 p.m. at Bar Giusti. \nSaturday 8 August is dedicated to movement and outdoor sports\, thanks to the eleventh edition of the Villaga Trail – Corsa del Gal. At 5:30 p.m.\, the Corsa del Pulcino kicks off\, an obstacle race of one kilometer reserved for children under 12. Following that\, at 6:00 p.m.\, the main race is scheduled to start: a competitive trial of 9 kilometers for adults and 4 kilometers for youth under 14\, alongside a walking event open to everyone on a course of 4 or 9 kilometers. The day concludes with a festive traditional dinner featuring skewers and the “Miss Cake” competition\, which will reward the best artisanal cakes\, submitted by 6:00 p.m. at the former schools. \nSunday 9 August resumes in the morning with a mixed 4×4 green volleyball tournament\, followed by the Holy Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the church of San Fermo. From 7:30 p.m.\, there will be a final dinner featuring goulash. Excursion with Astronomers  \n  \nReservation is required: limited seats! \n“Walking the Soul”\, in collaboration with the Pascolando Cooperative –Malga Van\, organizes Saturday\, August 8 “Admiring the stars at the malga”\, an evening hike departing at 7:00 p.m. from Piazza di Valmorel. \nThe route leads along the mule track that crosses the forest to Malga Van\, where it will be possible to enjoy refreshments with local products. Afterwards\, participants will take part in a guided reading of the sky and observation of celestial bodies through a telescope\, accompanied by experts Vittorio De Nardin and Davide De Col from the Agordini Astrophile Association “Dolomitic Skies” of San Tomaso Agordino. \nThe walk has an elevation gain of about 150 meters and a duration of about an hour and a half. It is possible to have dinner at the malga with local products. \nSuitable clothing for mountain hiking is recommended\, including boots\, jacket\, and trekking poles.

SUMMARY:Immerse yourself in the night of the wild
DESCRIPTION:Living in the woods from sunset to sunrise. \n“`html   \nA two-day and one-night experience to gradually enter the woods and choose to stay even when evening comes. \nThe experience will begin on Saturday morning at 9.00 a.m. from the meeting point indicated to participants. After a brief presentation of the program and a check of the equipment\, the group will set off on foot to reach the base camp. \nThe hike will be accessible and not particularly demanding. Along the way\, several orientation activities will be proposed\, learning to observe the territory\, recognize the main landmarks\, and use map and compass to understand the direction of travel. \nOnce the chosen area for the stay is reached\, the group will dedicate itself to the setup of the base camp. Participants will learn to identify a suitable place to rest\, build an essential shelter\, and organize the space in which to spend the night. Special attention will be given to lighting and managing the fire: from the choice of materials to preparing the tinder\, up to caring for the flame during the stay in the woods. \nThe evening and night will allow for experiencing the changes in the natural environment as light fades\, living in the woods at a slower pace\, and developing attention\, adaptability\, and collaboration. \nSunday morning will be dedicated to the reading of animal tracks and the small signs present in the territory. Through a tracking activity\, the group will try to recognize footprints\, trails\, and other clues left by wildlife. \nA workshop dedicated to water will follow\, during which essential methods for its search and filtration in a natural environment will be illustrated and experimented with\, clarifying the difference between filtration and purification. \nAfter tidying up the camp and walking back\, the experience will conclude on Sunday at around 2.30 p.m.. \n \nThis is not an extreme test\, but a guided survival and bushcraft experience\, aimed at adults who wish to acquire practical skills and consciously\, accompanied and gradually\, spend a night in the woods. \nThe activity is part of Return to the Wild\, a progressive path that helps people enter the woods\, learn to read its signs\, and finally choose to stay and inhabit it for a night. \nMain activities planned \n\nreading and observing the territory;\nchoosing and organizing the place to rest;\nbuilding an essential shelter;\nlighting and tending the fire;\npreparing and managing the overnight stay;\nexperiencing the woods from sunset to dawn.\napproaching tracking (observing the traces left by animals)\nfinding and filtering water.\n\n\nThe complete list of personal equipment and all organizational instructions will be sent to participants before the outing. \n “`

It is an opportunity to discover a less expected side of the Belluno Dolomites: that of the villages and rural landscapes that open up between one valley and another\, where time seems to flow at a different rhythm and every stop becomes a discovery. \nFor those seeking a more dynamic experience\, the Piave also becomes a space for action: rafting\, canyoning\, and canoeing offer a different way to experience the valley\, alternating adrenaline with direct contact with the landscape. \nTHE EVENT IS FREE. DESCRIPTION:Free guided tour every opening day at 3:00 PM  \nDiscover a story of many centuries \nIn the locality of Santa Libera lies the ancient mill\, whose wheels were already operational in 1526 and which\, until its closure in 1980\, changed hands among the local and Venetian noble families. \nThe mill of Santa Libera tells a story spanning many centuries\, connected to the territory of Santa Giustina and the waters of the Veses stream. As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.
