DESCRIPTION:The story of this Clytemnestra\, not so different from the many cases of female criminals in our days\, provides a basis for important reflections on the nature of law and justice\, on astonishment as discovery and as disappointment\, as a sudden revelation of life’s harshness. \nThe complexity and modernity of the character are undeniable: her restlessness\, her thirst for independence\, her determination\, her tragic nature. \nClytemnestra has betrayed\, but she has also been betrayed; she killed her husband\, who had killed and sacrificed their daughter Iphigenia to the gods. \nAnd the scream of pain\, the boundless anger\, the suffered loneliness\, the infinite desire for revenge\, are all present in the powerful monologue. \nThe verdict is already written: no chance of redemption\, Clytemnestra is an irredeemable woman. But perhaps this new court could judge her differently. \nMarginalized and confined by myth in the infernal circle of the guilty and the outcasts\, Clytemnestra in Anna Zago’s edition overturns this game\, exploiting our need to feel our sins forgiven through the dark mirror of hers\, to explain what led her into the cage of shame and contempt. \nWe return to Clytemnestra to free ourselves from evil; Clytemnestra comes to us and asks\, in turn\, to be freed. DESCRIPTION:Registrations are open until fifteen minutes before the start of the tournament Chess tournament open to all enthusiasts that takes place over five rounds of play with an Italian-Swiss pairing system.The Municipality of Fonzaso in collaboration with the Feltrino Chess Club “L’Avamposto” is pleased to propose and organize the initiative Christmas Under Check\, which will be held on Wednesday\, December 24\, 2025\, starting at 10:00 AM in the Town Hall. \nA unique chess tournament open to all enthusiasts that consists of five rounds of play with an Italian-Swiss pairing system (any tiebreakers for the final ranking will take place using the Buchholz method)\, each of which grants the player twelve minutes of thinking time\, plus three additional seconds for each move made\, ticking the clock that measures the respective level of concentration and speed of play. \nRegistrations\, open until fifteen minutes before the start of the tournament\, can be made free of charge by sending a WhatsApp message to the following number 340 4183433 (Alessandro)\, but pre-registration on the site vesus.org or via email at feltrinoscacchi@gmail.com is recommended. \nThe tournament has a maximum number of thirty participants\, including those from outside the Municipality. \nIn the playing room\, it is forbidden to introduce smartphones and other electronic devices\, except in cases of extreme necessity\, to be mutually agreed upon with the referees in advance. \nFor any other aspects not expressly regulated in the announcement\, the event organizers will adhere to the current regulations provided by the FIDE International Regulation.

DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the initiative “Christmas in the Village”\, the Christmas village created by the Association Mele a Mel APS with the support of the Municipal Administration of Borgo Valbelluna\, Mel awakens in a new guise\, ready to become the beating heart of Christmas in Valbelluna. \nTen new wooden huts\, scented with resin and festively decorated\, will welcome artisans\, producers\, and creatives from the area. Each will tell a different story\, offering the public a marketplace that is always different\, capable of enhancing local excellence and providing new experiences with every visit. There will also be a hut dedicated to serving food and drinks\, managed on a rotation basis by local groups.  \nThis initiative not only invites citizens and visitors to rediscover the cultural\, gastronomic\, and cultural riches of the village\, but also testifies to the desire of the entire community to engage and collaborate to create authentic projects\, rich in warmth and conviviality. \nShows\, workshops\, and animations for young and old will accompany the public throughout the festive period\, creating a place suspended between magic and hospitality.  \nAlongside this bright and festive atmosphere\, the exhibition “The Gold and the Soul. DESCRIPTION:The Municipality of Limana\, in collaboration with the Municipal Library and the Pro Loco of Limana\, presents the 2nd edition of Christmas Lights in Limana\, a rich calendar of initiatives that will accompany the community throughout the holiday season\, from December 6 to January 6. \nNature walks\, children’s shows\, musical moments\, cultural events\, religious celebrations\, and activities dedicated to families will enliven the town from December 6 to January 6\, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. \nAs every year\, there will be the lighting of the decorations\, concerts\, the living nativity scene\, traditional celebrations\, and cultural proposals curated by the Library. \nAdditionally\, the “Luminous Limana” Contest returns\, dedicated to the most beautiful Christmas decorations: applications are open until Sunday\, December 14. \nThe night excursion “Under the Wolf’s Moon”\, scheduled for January 3 at 7:00 PM\, will offer participants a suggestive experience immersed in the winter nature\, accompanied by expert guides along a path suitable for everyone. A first taste of an exhibition path that tells the story of play\, movement\, and winter life of the past. \nNext to the nativity scene\, there is also a special Christmas tree\, designed as a place for sharing: all visitors are invited to hang their own memories related to snow\, sledding\, and the emotions experienced during the winters of their childhood. Timeliness is recommended. \nFor information: www.rheticus.it \nThe evening is centered around the week in which Uranus reaches the highest point of its nighttime parabola during the opening hours of the Astronomical Center. This will be the moment when\, due to the lower atmospheric turbulence\, it will be possible to see it best through the telescope. The planet will be framed with all the telescopes of the Center\, and with the large Dobson\, it will also be possible to see some of its faint satellites.  \nIt will also be possible to observe the Moon\, around the first quarter\, with especially visible features from north to south\, such as the Vallis Alpina\, the craters Archimedes\, Autolycus\, and Aristillus\, the Caucasus and Apennine Mountains\, and the craters Ptolomaeus\, Alphonsus\, and Arzachel\, Purbach\, Regiomontanus\, and Walther. DESCRIPTION:Mattmark disaster show \n  \nOn the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mattmark disaster\, an event that occurred on August 30\, 1965\, in Switzerland\, causing one of the most serious workplace tragedies involving Italian emigrants\, especially from the Belluno area\, The Bellunesi Association in The World aims to remember what happened through an immersive exhibition composed of photographs\, documents\, films\, and video interviews with survivors and family members of the victims. \nDuring the construction of the largest dam in Europe\, a massive chunk of ice from the Allalin glacier (about two million cubic meters) broke off and overwhelmed the workers’ accommodations\, causing 88 deaths\, of which 56 were Italians and 17 were from Belluno. The last body was found two years later. The warning signs had been ignored\, but in the trials of 1972\, all the defendants were acquitted\, and the victims’ families even had to pay half of the legal costs. A tragedy without justice that profoundly marked the collective memory of the area. \nAn exhibition to understand what happened from the voice of those who were there\, from the words of those who saw their lives change in that disaster.
