SUMMARY:Palio of Feltre
DESCRIPTION:The historical reenactment of the delivery of Feltre to Venice \nIn order to remember and celebrate the donation of Feltre to Venice\, a public decree established that in the following years\, on 15 August\, a procession of all the orders of the city would take place and a Palio of 15 gold ducats would be run.  \n  The Palio that has been held in Feltre since 1979 every first Sunday in August is meant to commemorate this very event. The palio is transformed into a leap back in time that recreates the 15th-century atmosphere thanks to the marvellous choreography studied down to the smallest detail\, the result of scrupulous philological reconstruction.  \n  The pomp and circumstance of the costumes of the procession of nobles and ladies that\, on Sunday morning\, leads from the 16th-century imperial gate along Largo Castaldi to the cathedral forecourt to attend the Holy Mass and in the afternoon along Via Mezzaterra and Piazza Maggiore to the final competitions until the proclamation of the winning quarter.  \n  The city’s four quarters compete in the Prà del Moro arena in the tug-of-war and horse race\, earning valuable points that\, added to those obtained in the relay race and archery\, will determine the new holder of the fifteen-ducat banner.  \n  The celebrations begin on Friday with the dinners of the quarters that bring together hundreds of contradaioli who have come to support their quarter.

SUMMARY:Il cammino da S.Vittore alla Madonna del Grappa
DESCRIPTION:It does not present significant difficulties.  \nAn ancient tradition \nFor 17 years\, it has been a fixed appointment: the first weekend of August\, the proposal of the Camino from San Vittore to Madonna del Grappa is an occasion for prayer and reflection\, but also a moment to “remember” the dramas left by the Great War\, as well as to fully enjoy the landscape through a path that crosses the mountain. \n  The route starts from Anzù\, a hamlet of Feltre\, more precisely from the ancient Sanctuary of SS. Vittore and Corona dating from 1096 to 1101\, passing through Villaga\, Tomo\, Porcen\, Rasai\, Seren del Grappa. \n A part of the famous “Way of the Dolomites” is covered and the participation and blessing of the Bishop is expected. \n The route is long\, 52 kilometers\, but presents no particular difficulties: it starts very early on Saturday morning with a gathering at the Sanctuary\, heading towards the base camp at Conca delle Bocchette in Seren del Grappa. \nParticipants\, arriving even from other Italian regions – usually stop to sleep in the refuges\, while the braver ones spend the night outside\, among the hay. \n On Sunday\, they depart early from the base camp to reach Cima Grappa where a ceremony at the Sacrario with the lighting of the tripod (torch) is scheduled. \nAlong the route\, refreshment stations (drinks\, fruit\, and whatever is useful for the journey) will be present.

Meeting point at Piazzale Nevegal. \nOn July 26 at 3:00 p.m. it will be the turn of BICINKANA\, organized in collaboration with FIAB Belluno\, a playful-educational activity aimed at children aged 5 to 10 to promote sustainable mobility and outdoor play. Meeting point at the Playground of the Albergo Nevegal. \nOn August 1 at 8:30 p.m. the concert “I Due Golfi” will be held at the Caldart Hall\, a musical journey between Venice and Naples through voices\, guitar\, and mandolin. \nOn August 5 at 9:30 a.m.\, in Pian Longhi\, a Walking Gymnastics session will be held led by instructor Elena Auditore\, combining physical activity and contact with nature. Journey through the caves of Nevegal” will be organized with the Le Solve group of CAI Belluno\, dedicated to discovering the local speleological heritage. DESCRIPTION:The summer appointment with great music returns to Borgo Valbelluna. \nThe sixth edition of Concerts in the Village is underway\, with a proposal of three musical events in the territory of Borgo Valbelluna. \nThe event begins on Friday\, July 31 in the garden of Palazzo Francescon in Mel with the Cuerdas Trio\, an ensemble that offers a repertoire of traditional Central American music with typical instruments (charango\, cuatro\, setar) and a classical approach. The repertoire combines rearranged folk songs for trio and original music inspired by Andean tradition. Their debut\, “Gentile”\, from 2025 was included in the best debuts of the year by Radio3\, and the Cuerdas have performed throughout Italy receiving excellent acclaim. \nContinuing on Thursday\, August 6 in the evocative atmosphere of the Castello di Zumelle where Krano\, a singer-songwriter who gained popularity by composing the soundtrack for the film Le Città di Pianura\, winner of 8 David di Donatello awards\, including for best song with the track “Ti”\, will perform. In Zumelle\, he will present a repertoire that blends folk\, blues\, and psychedelia. \nTo conclude\, on August 27 at the small square of Colderù\, the Vaganto\, a Belluno-based group that brings traditional Eastern and Northern European music to the squares\, transitioning from Balkan tradition to klezmer to Scandinavian dances. A concert ideal for dancing\, but also for attentive listening. \nThe concerts are free and open to the public. In case of bad weather\, they will be held at the Auditorium Ex-Chiesa di San Pietro in Mel.
