Like little matches\, each film will illuminate reality in a new way\, showing us a path in these dark times. We need flames\, sparks\, lanterns to guide us\, to give us a little light. That’s why we have taken the motto from Zanzotto “Cinema burns and illuminates\,” because perhaps cinema cannot change the world\, but it can show it to us in a new way. \n  A festival that starts from the province\, that of Belluno and Feltrino\, a territory on the margins yet rich in culture and history\, at the foot of the Dolomites. The 12 outings of TROVARSI AL SOLE are distributed both geographically (throughout Valbelluna)  and temporally (the first on June 20\, the last on October 18) and are completely free\,  but with limited number: therefore\, it is important to book\, through the site primaveracasa.eu or on Eventbrite (the  link is https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/trovarsi-al-sole-trovarsi-allombra-4844988). \n The event – which in autumn will become TROVARSI ALL’OMBRA\, moving to the taverns of  Valbelluna – is designed as a welcome for those who have recently moved here (but not only!)\, and have  pleasure in getting to know\, along with new places\, new people. And precisely to encourage meetings among those who do not yet know each other\, at the end or during the walks\, or  bike rides\, convivial moments are always planned – to chat also with your legs under the table\, in a refuge or in a  malga\, at the bar\, in a tavern\, with a refreshing aperitif. \n Even the  convivial moments are covered by the PRIMAVERA CASA project. A project that\, let us remember\, has been working for some years (since September 2022)\, thanks to the support of  the Cariverona Foundation\, together with property owners to reopen unused houses\, to give them  new life and make them available to those who wish to move to live and work in Valbelluna. The  project partners are\, from the beginning\, Società Nuova\, Isoipse\, ACLI servizi\, and the Dolomiti Prealpi Tourism Consortium. \n The TROVARSI event\, in particular\, is conceived and organized by ISOIPSE\, in collaboration with  the rest of the team. As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.

DESCRIPTION:Second event of the Giardino Buzzati Festival 20 years \nAt 6.00 p.m. there will be the opening of the garden of Villa Buzzati to guests. \nAt 7.00 p.m. the book But what are the Dolomites\, a geological interpretation of the writings of Dino Buzzati inspired by Bruno Castiglioni will be presented by and with Danilo Giordano – DBS editions. \nDanilo Giordano\, born and residing in Feltre\, a passionate visitor of the Dolomites\, has dealt with the geology of the Province of Belluno. \nHe has collaborated with ENEA and CNR and the University of Padua for many research projects\, and has more than seventy publications of a popular and scientific nature to his credit. \nWith this book\, he takes us on an extraordinary journey through the geology of our mountains starting from a very original idea\, the descriptions of these places in the words of Dino Buzzati’s writings\, with a connection to Bruno Castiglioni\, a great geologist of the past. \nReadings curated by the readers of the Cultural Association Villa Buzzati. \nThe event is free of charge \nFor information\, send an email to culturavillabuzzati@gmail.com or call +39 0437 926414 or +39 333 6486024 \nSecond event of the Festival and the garden of Villa Buzzati
