DESCRIPTION:The Municipality of Limana\, in collaboration with the Municipal Library and the Pro Loco of Limana\, presents the 2nd edition of Christmas Lights in Limana\, a rich calendar of initiatives that will accompany the community throughout the holiday season\, from December 6 to January 6. \nNature walks\, children’s shows\, musical moments\, cultural events\, religious celebrations\, and activities dedicated to families will enliven the town from December 6 to January 6\, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. \nAs every year\, there will be the lighting of the decorations\, concerts\, the living nativity scene\, traditional celebrations\, and cultural proposals curated by the Library. \nAdditionally\, the “Luminous Limana” Contest returns\, dedicated to the most beautiful Christmas decorations: applications are open until Sunday\, December 14. \nThe night excursion “Under the Wolf’s Moon”\, scheduled for January 3 at 7:00 PM\, will offer participants a suggestive experience immersed in the winter nature\, accompanied by expert guides along a path suitable for everyone. The initiative aims to create a cultural network\, uniting museums\, archaeological sites\, local associations\, and scholars\, and making the oldest history of our mountains more accessible. \nThe project is supported by the Fondazione Dolomiti UNESCO\, a recognition that highlights the importance of archaeology in dialogue with the Dolomite landscape and the cultural heritage of the territory. \n  \nEDITION 2025 – 2026\nThe 2025 – 2026 edition consists of a series of outreach meetings that will take place between autumn 2025 and spring 2026\, hosted at the Sala Polifunzionale del Pradenich in Cesiomaggiore (BL). DESCRIPTION:Free guided tour to discover the churches of Belluno \nThe free Christmas visits organized by the volunteers of the Campedel Association return this year to discover the artistic treasures of the churches in Belluno: two appointments to unveil the history and works of the sacred places in the area through stories\, anecdotes\, and curiosities. \nOn Saturday\, December 20th at 3:00 PM\, we will visit the Church of San Pietro\, a building commissioned by the Franciscan order in 1326 and demolished in the early 18th century due to damage caused by the earthquake of 1709\, then rebuilt around the middle of the century. The so-called “Gothic chapel” and a full arch visible high on the right in the façade have been preserved from the 14th-century building. Inside\, there are several notable works: paintings by Andrea Meldolla\, known as lo Schiavone\, and by Sebastiano Ricci; wooden altarpieces carved by Andrea Brustolon. \nReservations are not necessary. We will meet at the entrance of each church.

The mother then recounts the adventure of her great-grandmother Vittoria\, who on September 25\, 1943\, the day of the bombing in Florence\, managed to help a pair of twins. That night\, Vittoria is hiding in an improvised shelter in the cellars of Palazzo Pitti\, where she resides as the wife of the superintendent of cultural heritage in Florence. The performance profoundly illustrates the harsh reality that when bombs fall from the sky\, we are all on the same level\, without distinction of gender or social class. DESCRIPTION:The winner of the fourth literary competition “Telling Veneto Emigration” will be revealed on Saturday\, December 20th. Each will tell a different story\, offering the public a marketplace that is always different\, capable of enhancing local excellence and providing new experiences with every visit.
