DESCRIPTION:Summer Review \nValmorel under the Stars returns\, the festival that has been enlivening the summer in the village that inspired Dino Buzzati’s “Miracles” for thirty years. \nThe official opening is scheduled for Saturday\, July 4 with the inauguration of the new InfoPoint Vivi Valmorel\, created thanks to the Elserino Piol ETS Foundation. Following that\, the exhibition “When There Was Snow”\, created together with the Frazionale APS Committee and the Limana Ski Club\, will be inaugurated. Through about thirty large photographs along the Malghe Path\, the exhibition narrates the history of the territory. \nThe evening will continue with “Storytellers (rehearsals…)”\, a show combining music and words with Max Solinas and Nicola Spina Pilat. \nFriday\, July 10\, at the Vejò Cultural Center\, Simona Polli and Matteo Piva will share their eleven-month journey in South America with the presentation of the book “On a Journey with Emotions.” \nSaturday\, July 11\, in Cortivo Ottaviani\, the festival will celebrate “30 Years Together… Under the Stars” with a concert by Erica Boschiero\, who will present “A Place on Earth\,” an intense musical journey through human stories\, nature\, and collective responsibility. \nAmong the numerous proposals that will enliven the summer\, there is also the Magnalonga of Valmorel on July 12 and its suggestive night version on July 31.

DESCRIPTION:Opening of the Festival and the garden of Villa Buzzati \nOn the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Buzzati Garden Festival\, the celebrations for this important milestone will begin. \nStarting at 6:00 p.m.\, there will be a food area where dishes and specialties curated by local producers can be enjoyed. \nAt 7:30 p.m.\, the live performance Orfeo\, by and with Angelo Trabace\, a piano concert\, will be presented. \nAngelo Trabace is a pianist\, author\, and composer. In 2021\, he released Sbarco\, his first solo album\, through Sugar Music Publishing. \nIn 2022\, together with his brother Alessandro Trabace and Sebastiano De Gennaro\, he was among the founders of the experimental project Metameccanici and participated in music collectives. \nIn 2025\, he composed the original score for the feature film Orfeo by Virgilio Villoresi\, which premiered at the 82nd Venice Film Festival and was selected for the short-list in the “composer” category of the 2026 David di Donatello awards. \nAt 9:15 p.m.\, the film Orfeo\, directed by Virgilio Villoresi and distributed by Double Line\, freely adapted from “Poema a Fumetti” by Dino Buzzati\, will be screened. \nThe film was presented out of competition at the Venice Film Festival in September 2025. \nThe screening will take place outdoors in the garden of Villa Buzzati\, and in case of rain\, it will be held in the Barn of Villa Buzzati. \nVirgilio Villoresi is a director and visual artist who combines cinema\, animation\, and craftsmanship in a personal and distinctive language. \nHis work arises from a deep dialogue with historical avant-gardes\, experimental cinema\, and author animation\, with references ranging from Maya Deren to Kenneth Anger\, Patrick Bokanowski to Jan Lenica\, and Jean Cocteau to Paolo Gioli. \nAdmission to the event is free. \nFor information\, please email culturavillabuzzati@gmail.com or call +39 0437 926414 or +39 333 6486024.

DESCRIPTION:This year Longarone has decided to bring great culture to its oldest village\, Castellavazzo\, proposing “Lithéa – The Art of Stone\, Body\, and Voice.” \nAs if there were a muse\, Lithéa\, guiding hands\, gazes\, voices\, bodies\, the art of extraction and processing of stone will merge with the performing arts. \nThe first opportunity to visit us is Saturday\, July 11\, when Piazza Fontana in Castellavazzo will become the open-air stage for “Lu Santo jullare Francesco”\, a show by Dario Fo\, staged by Mario Pirovano. The occasion is twofold: the 100th anniversary of Dario Fo’s birth and the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis’ death. “It is a great honor for us to be included in the calendar of the official celebrations of the Centenary of Dario Fo\, organized by the Fo Rame Foundation – states Councilor for Culture Anna Olivier – A unique opportunity to listen to a memorable work on the life of Saint Francis\, written by the Nobel Prize winner for Literature 1997. An unprecedented portrait that Fo paints of the most extraordinary innovator of Christian thought\, addressing the great themes that run through contemporary society.”  \nSunday\, July 12\, will instead feature “Alétheia”\, a workshop with a duo of artists: the Belluno soprano Chiara Isotton and American actor Patick Cann. A little less than a year after the awarding of the International Prize Bellunesi which honors the province in Italy and in the World to the soprano\, we decided to offer singing and acting enthusiasts the opportunity to experience a day of work with international professionals. The day will develop into a 360° workshop on voice and body\, starting with texts selected for the occasion. It will be a different experience\, unique in its kind\, to bring enthusiasts closer to work on voice and body that explores different techniques and particular fusions. \nAt the end of the day there will be a performance for the audience. \nA double event in the historic village of Castellavazzo in the company of the muse Lithéa.
