DESCRIPTION:“Poetic caravans” in the center of Farra d’Alpago. Itinerant show: five theater companies tell stories of women from Belluno. \nThe theater companies Farine Fossili\, Gruppo teatrale Zumellese\, I Comelianti\, Lavori in Corso\, and Se Queris will bring to life an original theatrical format\, featuring “open-air performances” in various suggestive locations in the center of Farra d’Alpago. \nThe stage will be quite unique: the streets\, squares\, and corners of the town center. \nThe theme of the event will focus on women who have played a special and important role in the life of Belluno. \nThe event will be held with the collaboration of the Onda Rosa APS association\, active in providing support to women affected by breast cancer: during the event\, voluntary donations will be collected to support patients who have received a breast cancer diagnosis. Additionally\, the association will be present to raise awareness among attendees about the important social issue it addresses. \nThe event\, now in its fourth edition\, follows the first three held in 2022 and 2024 in Belluno\, and in 2025 in Pieve di Cadore\, and will be an opportunity for entertainment and fun for everyone\, but also\, and above all\, an important event for solidarity\, awareness\, and information\, as well as an occasion to highlight women in general\, and in particular some notable women from Belluno who have shaped the history of society and the territory of Belluno. \nThe program: \n• 3:30 p.m.\, Piazza Cesare Battisti: Farine Fossili with “Ida Pilotto\, the Duse of pedagogy”; \n• 4:00 p.m.\, Via Andrea Brustolon (at the Monastery of Santa Fara): Se Queris with “… and migrants”; \n• 4:30 p.m.\, Via Andrea Brustolon (at “trifora”): I Comelianti with “Gerle. DESCRIPTION:Free event\, registration required 12 occasions through the streets of Valbelluna to meet new faces and discover other paths. \nNot just work\, not just home. To choose a place\, more is needed: fundamental are the relationships one manages to build around oneself.  \nThis is why the TROVARSI initiative was born within the framework of the PRIMAVERA CASA project – a project aimed at reopening unused homes in Valbelluna\, to make them available to new inhabitants\, young people\, and workers.  \nMany outings to discover the territory\, to build relationships while walking. The 12 outings of TROVARSI AL SOLE are distributed both geographically (throughout Valbelluna) and temporally (the first on June 20\, the last on October 18) and are completely free\, but limited in number: therefore\, it is important to register\, from the website primaveracasa.eu or on Eventbrite (the link is https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/trovarsi-al-sole-trovarsi-allombra-4844988). \n The initiative – which in autumn will become TROVARSI ALL’OMBRA and move to the taverns of Valbelluna – is designed as a welcome for those who have recently moved here (but not only!)\, and would like to meet\, along with new places\, new people. And precisely to encourage encounters among those who do not yet know each other\, at the end or during the walks\, or rides\, convivial moments are always planned – to chat even with legs under the table\, in a shelter or in a farm\, at the bar\, in a tavern\, with a relaxing aperitif. \n The convivial moments are also covered by the PRIMAVERA CASA project. A project that\, we remind you\, has been working for several years (since September 2022)\, thanks to the support of the Cariverona Foundation\, alongside owners to reopen unused homes\, to restore them to new life and make them available to those who wish to move to live and work in Valbelluna. The project partners have been\, from the beginning\, Società Nuova\, Isoipse\, ACLI services\, and the Dolomiti Prealpi Tourist Consortium. \n The TROVARSI initiative\, in particular\, is conceived and organized by ISOIPSE\, in collaboration with the rest of the team. DESCRIPTION:The 3rd-4th-5th of July sees the return of Dona 1 Sorriso with its 22nd edition\, a now established event that combines fun\, sports\, music\, and solidarity in a large gathering dedicated to the community. The event will take place in Pian dei Castaldi (Barp\, Sedico)\, and will offer three days full of activities designed for all ages. \nThe initiative arises with an important charitable goal: the entire proceeds will be used to support children and families in difficulty through local associations engaged in social work. DESCRIPTION:Open from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. \nFree admission. \nReservation is not required. \n Extraordinary opening to the public. \nThe pre-Roman necropolis of Mel in Borgo Valbelluna opens exceptionally to the public every Sunday in July and August from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and in conjunction with the openings of the church of the Addolorata in the center of Mel (Saturday\, July 4 and Saturday\, August 1) it will be possible to access and visit the state archaeological area that preserves the monumental burial ground of the Ancient Venetians.  \nA “city of the dead” among the oldest in Valbelluna and one of the few currently visitable in the entire Veneto region\, rediscovered thanks to excavations that began in 1958\, stands at the entrance to the village of Mel and allows us to understand how the Paleoveneti lived and what their economic and social structure was. \nThe approximately 80 tombs found are inserted within 7 circles made of sandstone slabs set vertically in the ground. The ashes of the deceased were placed in ceramic or bronze vessels along with some everyday objects inside polygonal boxes. Thus\, a sort of family tomb was formed. The cremation vessels and all the objects that accompanied the burials – ornaments and tools – are displayed in the rooms of the Civic Archaeological Museum located in the Palazzo delle Contesse in the square of Mel. \nThe Ancient Venetians or Paleoveneti were an Indo-European population that arrived in northeastern Italy after the middle of the 2nd millennium B.C. Thanks to numerous archaeological excavations and related findings\, the history and identity of this population have been reconstructed over the years. The Venetians initially settled in the area between Lake Garda and the Euganean Hills and later expanded to Adria (RO) to the south\, and to the Tagliamento River to the east. \nFree entry.

SUMMARY:San Francesco e i Francescani nella città di Feltre
DESCRIPTION:Cultural paths dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi \nThe cultural paths dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi and the Franciscans\, in the 800 years since the death of the saint\, develop in the City of Feltre and its immediate surroundings due to the numerous traces that are preserved there\, both in places of worship and in some historical sites of the citadel and in areas extra moenia. Among the main stops of the itinerary are the Co-cathedral of Feltre\, which houses altars and altarpieces\, fragments of frescoes\, sculptures\, and relics linked to the Franciscan saints\, or works coming from ancient convents of the Friars Minor or Conventuals (such as that of Santa Maria del Prato)\, the church of San Giacomo Maggiore\, on via Mezza­terra (which preserves works from the vanished convent of Santo Spirito)\, the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Borgo Tezze\, founded along with its convent of Poor Clare nuns by the friar Bernardino Tomitano from Feltre\, the church of the Sacred Heart on via Belluno\, which was built by the Franciscans more recently (20th century)\, along with the convent complex. Lastly\, the Shrine of Saints Vittore and Corona on Mount Miesna (Anzù)\, with images and architectures that recall the brotherhood of the Saint of Assisi. \nAmong the other historical buildings and city museums containing Franciscan memories – which will be visited during the paths – the Diocesan Museum Belluno-Feltre is noteworthy\, hosting important works depicting Saint Francis and Saint Clare\, as well as wooden and stone elements coming from vanished city convents. The Modern Art Gallery “Carlo Rizzarda” will also be a fundamental stop on the urban trek\, where one can admire the splendid wrought iron candelabrum by the teacher from Feltre with Franciscan saints; there\, the thematic exhibition that hosts paintings from the Civic Museum of via Luzzo will also be explained.
