DESCRIPTION:Cultural paths dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi \nThe cultural paths dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi and the Franciscans\, in the 800 years since the death of the saint\, develop in the City of Feltre and its immediate surroundings due to the numerous traces that are preserved there\, both in places of worship and in some historical sites of the citadel and in areas extra moenia. Among the main stops of the itinerary are the Co-cathedral of Feltre\, which houses altars and altarpieces\, fragments of frescoes\, sculptures\, and relics linked to the Franciscan saints\, or works coming from ancient convents of the Friars Minor or Conventuals (such as that of Santa Maria del Prato)\, the church of San Giacomo Maggiore\, on via Mezza­terra (which preserves works from the vanished convent of Santo Spirito)\, the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Borgo Tezze\, founded along with its convent of Poor Clare nuns by the friar Bernardino Tomitano from Feltre\, the church of the Sacred Heart on via Belluno\, which was built by the Franciscans more recently (20th century)\, along with the convent complex. ALPAGO 2 WHEELS & SOLIDARITY COMMITTEE \nThe route of the Giro del Lago di Santa Croce in the Run\, Handbike\, and Bike versions starts from the central square of Papa Luciani in Puos\, touching the locations of Farra\, Poiatte\, Santa Croce del Lago\, La Secca\, Bastia d’Alpago\, before returning after about 17.4 km to Puos\, arriving at the main square of the village. \nThe Pedestrian route is combined with the classic Giro del Lago di Santa Croce for both the start and finish. The 7 km long route begins on via al Lago\, then moves along the bank of the Tesa stream\, at the height of the sports facilities of the Unione Montana dell’Alpago\, from Puos towards Farra\, crossing the picturesque nature oasis close to Lake Santa Croce\, before reaching the village of Bastia and ascending along the cycling path to the height of the Puos nursing home\, before returning to the paved road\, traversing a stretch of Via Roma\, and then proceeding towards the finish on via Verdi. \nThe Skate route is also combined with the classic Giro del Lago di Santa Croce for both the start and finish. The course\, 4.8 km long\, is completely flat and on a paved road. It winds along via al Lago and via Turatti\, from Puos towards Farra\, before turning right on via Matteotti and then reaching the roundabout that leads to via Roma\, the long straight stretch that leads to the finish on via Verdi. Along the route and at the finish\, always in Piazza Papa Luciani in Puos\, free refreshment stations will be set up.

DESCRIPTION:The Alchemy Week returns to Valdenogher and Tambre with a rich program of events dedicated to the world of alchemy\, inner knowledge\, theater\, and Renaissance culture. From August 19 to 23\, the Casa dell’Alchimista Museum in Valdenogher and the Social Center in Tambre will host conferences\, theatrical performances\, guided tours\, cultural meetings\, and live music\, offering participants an immersive experience among art\, science\, spirituality\, and tradition. \n \nThe event will kick off on Wednesday\, August 19\, with “Alchemical Confidences for 16 spectators\,” a special theatrical performance titled “4 Secrets and a Revelation” at the Casa dell’Alchimista. On Thursday\, August 20\, the Social Center in Tambre will host the conference “Nature and Science at the Service of Health” with Dr. Ernesto Riva. \n \nOn Friday\, August 21\, activities are planned both in the morning and afternoon at the Casa dell’Alchimista: a museum visit with the Compagni di Vascello and a reprise of the final performance of the workshop “Theater as Martial Art II Edition\,” curated by Enrico Fauro. \n \nOn Saturday\, August 22\, the Social Center will offer the conference “The Freedom of Being Human as Seen by Alchemists\,” again curated by Enrico Fauro\, while on Sunday\, August 23\, the event will conclude with a round table dedicated to “Alchemy within Masonic Tradition” at the Casa dell’Alchimista Museum and a concert of Renaissance and Baroque music at Cava Le Val in Col Indes. In case of bad weather\, the concert will take place at the Social Center. \n \nThe event is organized by the Pro Loco Gruppo Alchimia Tambre and the Association Argonauti.
