Everything would suggest a conventional plot\, a meeting between somewhat affected friends\, but the form does not correspond to the substance: in the conversation laced with elegant vocabulary\, vulgarities abound\, and we learn that the two were once a very close couple. \nThe expression “Boston Marriage\,” in fact\, was in use in New England at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries to allude to a cohabitation between women economically independent from men. \nAfter the separation\, Anna\, the hostess\, has found a wealthy man. This is a Mamet different from the usual\, who takes a vacation from gravity and plays for the fun of playing\, winking at the brilliant experiments of Tennessee Williams\, but\, above all\, at Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest.” \nThe absolute protagonist\, in fact\, along with the actresses\, is language and\, conversely\, the unspoken\, the allusion\, the extravagance\, the paradox. Mamet enjoys parodying the pompous prose of the era\, but behind the apparent absurdity of the surface lies the ambitious intent of overturning reality through a joke that aims to create a bit of refined scandal. \nHere lies the “political” sense of a text that entertained and amazed the American audience of 1999 as much as it can surprise the Italian one today. DESCRIPTION:The productive heart of PoggioPagnanLAB becomes  a “home” for art\, thanks to the encounter with the  Mel’Immagino & Arca Dei Volti APS Associations  and the collaboration and support of Walter  Bernardi.  Three are the exhibitions that will celebrate\,  accompanied by the clinking of glasses\, the  union between creativity and territory.  Because wine is not just a taste\, it is  an experience\, a story to be lived and  shared.  \nThe final stage will be an exhibition of over 100 masks created by the volunteer group Arca dei Volti\, which will bring to the cellar a universe of fascinating figures rich in symbolism.  \nThe installation will focus on the humanization of the mask\, with works that will bring to life animal-character figures inspired by the characteristics of nature and society.  \n“Masks are part of our tradition and manage to bring out the essence of humanity\,” says Sara Andrich\, artist and representative of the Arca dei Volti group alongside Beppino Lorenzet. “With ‘Essere Altro’ we will tell stories through masks that draw inspiration from animals and their symbolic characteristics: we will have a ‘surveyor’ wolf\, because in nature the wolf delimits its territory\, and a constantly busy rabbit\, a reflection of the frenzy that often characterizes businessmen. I believe that the meeting between the art of masks and the world of wine can offer unique emotions to anyone who wants to experience something different.” \nAll exhibitions will be open to the public for free on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 PM to 8 PM\, and on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning from 10 AM to 1 PM and in the afternoon from 4 PM to 8 PM without reservation\, but guided tours with final tasting will be available by reservation at the number 3894439585.  \nWooden faces and masks: the story of tradition
