SUMMARY:Festival della salute planetaria -Cansiglio invita 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Cansiglio InVita Festival was born in 2023 to create a bridge between science and society\, between different sectors and fields of research. In the 2025 edition\, it further expanded its horizons by addressing the theme of planetary health. \n  \nAccording to this perspective – supported by the international scientific community – human health is closely connected to that of animals\, ecosystems\, and the planet. Maintaining the health and balance of the Earth System\, in all its environmental\, social\, and cultural components\, and in their complex and dynamic relationships\, requires a collective commitment aimed at promoting well-being and equity. \n  \nDuring the Festival\, we explored these complex links through a multidisciplinary scientific conference\, documentary screenings\, workshops\, excursions\, and hands-on activities in nature\, immersive guided experiences\, and moments of open dialogue. The activities were designed to satisfy the curiosity of people of all ages and offered the opportunity to directly experience the effects of nature on human health\, even for groups of people with specific conditions or illnesses. It was an opportunity to hear expert voices\, to personally experience the bond that connects us to nature\, and to look at it – and ourselves – with new eyes.

Spartan\, the leading global brand in endurance and obstacle course racing\, officially announces the arrival of the Spartan Belluno Nevegal 2026\, scheduled for June 27 and 28. \nFor two days\, the Nevegal plateau will become the stage for a spectacular challenge between sport\, nature\, and endurance. The new course will take athletes through dense forests\, technical climbs\, panoramic ridges\, and high-altitude meadows up to Col Visentin\, in a unique setting with breathtaking views of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. It is no coincidence that Nevegal is known as the “Terrace on the Dolomites.” \nThe weekend will feature all the main formats of the competition: Sprint of 5 km with 20 obstacles\, Super of 10 km with 25 obstacles\, and Beast of 21 km with 30 obstacles\, in addition to the Kids Race over distances between 1 and 3 km. Athletes will face some of the most iconic obstacles of the discipline\, including Atlas Carry\, A-Frame Cargo\, Barbed Wire Crawl\, Hercules Hoist\, Spear Throw\, Multi-Rig\, and the traditional final fire jump. \nThe Spartan Belluno Nevegal will also be a Trifecta Weekend: participants will be able to complete Sprint\, Super\, and Beast in the same weekend\, earning one of the most coveted challenges of the circuit. \nThe toughest obstacle course on the planet!

DESCRIPTION:Free guided tour every opening day at 3:00 PM  \nDiscover a story of many centuries \nIn the locality of Santa Libera lies the ancient mill\, whose wheels were already operational in 1526 and which\, until its closure in 1980\, changed hands among the local and Venetian noble families. \nThe mill of Santa Libera tells a story spanning many centuries\, connected to the territory of Santa Giustina and the waters of the Veses stream. As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.
