The chalet will also open throughout the summer on weekends. From here\, the walk to Malga Garda to observe the wonderful bloom and the incredible panorama over Valbelluna and the Dolomites takes about an hour and a half with a 300m elevation change on a mule path\, not particularly demanding\, just requiring a minimum of mountain walking experience. \nMany accompanying initiatives will be organized. Always open and visitable\, near the parking lot of the sports field\, the tour of the Laghetti della Rimonta featuring the works of Rimont’Arte. Also try the walk of the Sentiero dei Capitelli Affrescati that goes from Lentiai to Colderù. \nOn the day of May 31\, there will also be the opportunity to visit for free the little churches of San Bartolomeo in Villapiana\, the Hermitage of San Donato in Ronchena\, and the church of Santa Giuliana in Canai\, in collaboration with Frammenti d’arte. \nThe wonderful daffodils of Col d’Artent are back to put on a show.

DESCRIPTION:Linked to the CANSIGLIO BIKE DAY and dedicated to the little ones and families\, an educational-motor\, non-competitive sports cycling event\, called Brevettino Pian del Cansiglio\, aimed at and reserved for children and teens aged 3 to 14 years\, held at the Hangar area in Pian Cansiglio (BL). \nParticipation is voluntary by those holding parental responsibility for minors and requires the use of a bicycle – with or without pedals – and a protective helmet – not provided by the Organization. \nProposals:   A. 3 – 6 years: execution of pre-established\, simple routes\, with a qualified instructor\, for acquiring balance in the saddle. Perception of the Body Self and development of motor combination. \n                 B. 7 – 10 years: execution of pre-established routes with gradual difficulties\, to be done alone or in small groups\, managed by a qualified motor educator\, who\, if requested by parents along the route\, will provide pedagogical-motor instructions. \n                C. 11 – 14 years: excursion with an instructor. Maximum duration of the excursion 2h. Nature activities and experience of entering the woods with techniques and recognition of the environment and elements for orientation. You also learn to know the bicycle. \nParents not involved in the Cansiglio Bike Day can accompany the children in this nature-immersed experience. \nThe event is non-competitive and does not involve the awarding of prizes or recognitions. DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of the XVI edition of the National Day of the Association of Italian Historic Residences ETS\, the largest distributed museum in Italy reopens its doors to the public for free\, with over 450 historic residences open for visits throughout the Peninsula. Castles\, villas\, fortresses\, parks\, and gardens will exceptionally open their doors to offer a journey through the Italian cultural heritage\, a custodian of history\, art\, and identity. \n In Belluno\, the appointment is set for Monday\, May 25\, at 4.00 p.m. with a special guided tour of the State Archive\, housed in one of the most fascinating buildings in the city’s historic center. \n The location of the State Archive coincides with the ancient “School” of the Flagellants of Santa Maria dei Battuti\, a lay brotherhood of 14th-century origin adjacent to the homonymous church. A place of extraordinary historical and artistic value that\, despite the numerous interventions it has undergone over the centuries\, still preserves important testimonies of the past: valuable late Gothic frescoes from the 15th century and a rare series of painted wooden panels inserted between the original beams of the ceiling\, an expression of the Gothic taste still alive in Belluno at the time. \n The church of Santa Maria dei Battuti also tells a long and complex story. Built around 1330\, it housed works by some of the greatest masters of Venetian painting\, including Vivarini\, Paris Bordone\, Titian\, Ridolfi\, and Diziani. During the 19th century\, many of these works were dispersed or transferred elsewhere\, while the structure underwent profound transformations after the Napoleonic suppressions. Only in 1984 was the original complex reassembled\, when the church was returned to the State and entrusted to the Archive for institutional purposes. \n Reservation required via the form available at this link. \n  \nFree guided tour \nOn the occasion of “The Night of the Archives”\, the State Archive of Belluno offers a special opening titled “Between Documents and Notes”.
