SUMMARY:Parco archeologico di Noal
DESCRIPTION:It has been there for 3300 years\, a small witness of the era of great European archaeological sites. \nVisiting the ancient site of Noàl\, today Archaeological Park\, means rewinding the tape of time and returning to the Bronze Age\, the Iron Age\, and the Middle Ages. A place of evocative beauty\, between the Piave and Cordevole rivers\, Noàl has witnessed the succession of peoples and metallurgical innovations\, empires\, and warrior bishops. \nToday\, thanks to a long process of research and rediscovery\, the archaeological park of Noàl fully restores the mystery and energy of millennia of history and legends: it is enough to close your eyes to imagine the first blacksmiths at work\, medieval music\, and songs. \nTo relive the history of Noàl\, within the Park there is an educational path equipped with panels illustrating the history of the place\, the research\, the findings\, and indicating the layers of different periods of the fortified settlement/castle. \nAt the top of the tower\, built to a height similar to the ancient one to protect its remains\, with a panoramic view of 360° over the valley and the peaks of the Belluno Dolomites Park\, is the educational classroom\, equipped with display cases housing perfect replicas of the found artifacts\, explanatory panels\, and panoramic panels to survey and identify the ancient network of castles\, protohistoric settlements\, lookout towers\, the main peaks of the surrounding mountains\, the villages\, the Piave\, and the Cordevole. \nIt is recommended to bring a windbreaker or a sweatshirt (the tower can have a cool breeze). \nIn case of bad weather\, visits will be canceled. \nFor group visits (+10 people)\, it is always necessary to book at this address giannidv42@gmail.com to agree on the timing. \nGuided tours of the archaeological park of Noal with the opening of the tower.

SUMMARY:Latterie aperte in Valbelluna
DESCRIPTION:Let’s discover the cheeses and flavors of Valbelluna! \nThe cooperative dairies of Valbelluna open their doors to tell a story made of passion\, craftsmanship\, and a deep bond with the mountains. “Open Dairies in Valbelluna” returns with its 18th edition and invites the public to experience an authentic discovery of one of the most precious heritages of the Belluno area.     \nDuring the days of the event\, participating dairies will welcome visitors and families with live demonstrations of traditional processing: from the production of schiacciate\, ricotta\, and mozzarella to the artisanal stretching of cheeses\, and from the processing of butter to blue cheeses. Cheesemakers\, industry technicians\, and ONAF collaborators will guide the public in discovering the secrets of a knowledge passed down through time. \nThe 2026 edition also offers a rich calendar of collateral events: themed dinners and lunches in local restaurants led by ONAF Belluno tasters\, appointments dedicated to pairing wines and cheeses\, cultural visits\, nature excursions\, meetings on mountain agriculture\, and in-depth sessions dedicated to enhancing raw milk and local products. \nAmong the most awaited appointments\, Sunday\, May 31 will be the central day of “Open Dairies\,” with activities spread across the dairies of Camolino\, Sedico\, Lentiai\, Frontin\, Sant’Antonio Tortal\, Valmorel\, Valpiana\, La Schirata\, and Il Colle del Tiglio: live processing\, tastings\, guided tours\, popular entertainment\, and moments dedicated to discovering the rural culture of Valbelluna. \n“Open Dairies in Valbelluna” is not just a food event\, but an opportunity to learn closely about the value of mountain cooperatives\, support local productions\, and rediscover the authentic bond between man\, nature\, and territory.

SUMMARY:Il maggio dei libri
DESCRIPTION:The events of Borgo Valbelluna \nThe May of Books returns to Borgo Valbelluna. \nThe program prepared by the municipality of Borgo Valbelluna to participate in the national initiative The May of Books is rich. Born in 2011 with the aim of highlighting the social value of books as a key element of personal\, cultural\, and civic growth\, The May of Books is a national campaign that invites bringing books and reading into contexts different from traditional ones\, to reach those who usually do not read but can be intrigued if stimulated in the right way. \nIn its mission\, The May of Books actively involves local authorities\, schools\, libraries\, bookstores\, festivals\, publishers\, cultural associations\, and various public and private entities. In Italy and beyond: every year\, indeed\, the campaign crosses national borders\, uniting different realities in a common passion for reading\, such as Italian schools abroad. Thanks to the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\, numerous events have been held in various countries over the editions. \nIt starts on May 6 at the Library in Lentiai with “Cuddles to Read\,” a moment dedicated to the youngest children\, aged 0 to 3 years. A moment of readings and sharing not only for the little ones but also for their moms and dads. It will then proceed with two kamishibai\, a form of storytelling that originated in Japan in the Buddhist temples of the 12th century and can be translated as “paper theater performance.” \nThere will be a double appointment with KamiLab\, on the 8th at the Library in Trichiana (Every face is a poem) and on the 15th in Lentiai (The box of memories)\, both at 5 PM. \nAlso on the 15th\, this time at the library in Trichiana\, the exhibition “Blessed Spring” will be inaugurated\, a collection of watercolors curated by the group telling Acquarellando\, an artistic reality led by Donata Dal Molin that has long combined refined techniques and poetic imaginations designed to engage children and adults. The exhibition will remain open until June 16\, 2026\, and will be accessible for free during library hours (Mon-Fri 3 PM – 6 PM; Wed and Sat 9 AM – 12 PM). The path collects a series of works that highlight the delicacy and complexity of watercolor\, a technique capable of transforming spots and washes into vivid and evocative worlds. Many of the displayed watercolors come from illustrated books created over the years by the group\, which has managed to transform each table into a visual story capable of moving. The artists involved—Alberta Bassetto\, Silvia Bazzo\, Flavio Cortella\, Laura Fistarol\, Tiziana Furlan\, Alessandra Seganfreddo\, and Martina Zanusso—actually collaborate regularly with Donata Dal Molin in creating stories for children that combine sign\, color\, and narrative sensitivity. The themes of the works on display range from “Flowered Heads” to imaginary castles\, to illustrations of “The Canticle of Creatures” by Saint Francis\, of which the eighth centenary of the death is celebrated in 2026. The Group will then curate an afternoon of readings for girls and boys taken from their books (May 22 at 4:00 PM for the 0-3 age group\, at 5:15 PM for the 6-12 age group). \nTwo events are instead dedicated to an adult audience. On May 13\, at 8:30 PM\, at the Hall of Frescoes in the municipality of Mel\, the Venetian publishing house Wetlands will present the title “They Killed Habibi” by Shrouq Aila\, an award-winning journalist from Gaza\, who tells in a touching and poignant book the life of a mother during the war. As a sign of solidarity and support for the Palestinian people\, the entire editorial production chain\, from editors to translators\, from graphic designers to printers\, participated in the making of this book for free. The proceeds from sales\, including international rights\, are entirely donated to the author. The readers of the group Voices of Passage will give voice to the testimony. On May 28\, the evening will instead be dedicated to the illustrated book and the importance of images with the meeting asking\, “Why do human beings love stories?” On TV\, at the cinema\, in the theater\, around the fire… in books. An evening to reflect and tell together through the experience of two writers; to explore the power of images\, with the reading of an illustrated book\, and of words\, with the reading of a tale from popular tradition; to share stories and legends of the area. We will do this with Federica Ortolan\, a writer of narratives and illustrated books for children\, teenagers\, and adults\, and Anselmo Roveda\, a writer and scholar of literature and imagination\, a professor at ISIA in Urbino\, deputy director of “Andersen\,” a monthly magazine of literature and illustration for the world of childhood\, and director of “Cabirda\,” a review for Romance intercomprehension. The meeting is co-organized and funded by the Ottica Martini of Mel. On the occasion of the May of Books\, the municipal administration will gift a book to all the girls and boys in the nursery and kindergartens of the Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna\, a symbolic gesture to promote and encourage reading from early childhood. \n“The May of Books is increasingly shaping up to be a highly anticipated event within the cultural calendar of Borgo Valbelluna. It aims to be strongly focused on activities for girls and boys\, giving the opportunity to experience the spaces of the library also for laboratory and creative activities. The choice to include an exhibition\, albeit focused on the world of books\, within the library spaces\, moves in this direction of enjoying the spaces not only for lending and reading. Particularly significant are the meetings planned for the adult audience\, with the presence of the Wetlands publishing house\, which has acted as a voice often silenced of a Gazan woman and the meeting with Ortolan and Roveda\, influential voices in the world of the illustrated book and childhood narrative\, which concludes a path promoted for teachers of Borgo Valbelluna on these themes\,” informs the administration’s councilor for culture\, Chiara Scarton.

SUMMARY:Ventidue
DESCRIPTION:Research states that … \nRecent studies show an interesting fact: many women claim to need\, with a certain regularity\, a “girls’ night out” to truly recharge themselves emotionally and socially. On average\, this moment should occur every 22 days to maintain a good relational and personal balance. \nThis is confirmed by research conducted by Talker Research\, which interviewed 2\,000 adult women (21+)\, investigating the importance and frequency of outings among friends. \nThe results show that: \n• 78% of women consider the “girls’ night out” a true necessity\, not just a pleasure\, for feeling connected and rejuvenated. • According to the participants\, this moment should ideally repeat every 22 days to maintain their social and emotional well-being. \nStarting from these premises\, Dolomiti Hub has conceived a space and time dedicated to women. An opportunity to reunite\, spend time together with lightness\, without commitments and without pretensions. \nJust the pleasure of sharing chats\, a drink together\, smiles\, and spontaneous stories. A simple\, authentic moment\, all female. \nAnd we are sure that… we will create something beautiful. \n \n. \nA moment to meet\, chat\, and reconnect among women

SUMMARY:Sisko e Nena Trentin
DESCRIPTION:Acoustic aperitif. \nThere are evenings that ask for little: a well-made drink\, a quiet place\, and two musicians who know how to read the atmosphere. \nSisko&Nena\, together\, bring a repertoire that moves between timeless classics and modern interpretations. It’s not stage virtuosity: it’s elegance\, passion\, authenticity. \nThat kind of presence that changes the tone of the evening without ever taking the whole stage. A duo that knows how to adapt to the moment — whether it’s a slow aperitif\, a lingering conversation\, or a moment when you simply let yourself listen. \nWe take care of the rest: curated drinks (including non-alcoholic)\, craft beers\, vegan options\, and the calm that’s always present here. \nIf you need a Friday that flows well\, stop by whenever you like.

SUMMARY:Il respiro del faggio
DESCRIPTION:Between universities\, porticoes\, and taverns\, Bologna seems like a promise of happiness: cultured\, welcoming\, young. But every city has a shadow\, and that of Emilia is denser than the illusions that protect it. When an elderly wealthy woman is found brutally murdered in her apartment with few signs of a struggle\, and a foreign-origin boy\, Mihai\, falls from scaffolding in the suburbs\, the news follows predictable tracks: a son fleeing from a psychiatric clinic\, a workplace accident. All too simple. Not for Chief Inspector Antonio Petrella\, a disillusioned official with a past in G8-era Genoa\, nor for Vera Rotari\, Italian enough to feel at home and Moldovan enough to be a perfect interpreter. Their investigations proceed in parallel: he digging into the shadowy areas of the salons that matter; she following the traces of Mihai\, from construction sites in the suburbs to the Romagna gambling dens. But the two paths are destined to intersect\, as in the past\, when Vera was a girl with a permit to renew and Antonio was the first policeman who had helped her. Under a leaden sky\, the investigation transforms into something more: a crossing of borders\, between what one has been and what one becomes. \nFabio Rodda constructs a noir that goes beyond the investigation and vividly shows the light and shadow of a contemporary city and its protagonists\, suspended in a present that wants to overcome the past but risks shattering before tomorrow. \nMeeting with the author
