Not only hiking but also the philosophy of walking\, its literature\, and the many protagonists who promote walking not only as a means of physical and mental well-being but also as a lifestyle and a way to savor the pleasure of discovering territories rich in culture\, history\, and nature like Borgo Valbelluna\, which is perfect for promoting slow tourism. \nThe 2025 edition has already opened with an autumn preview that proposed two events that had a significant public response. The first meeting was with the ultra-trail runner Mario Piazzo and “Fatigue Makes You Happy\,” a story of how sport and walking can be a means of rediscovering oneself and experiencing strong emotions. The event with Giovanni Carraro\, who presented a preview of his new work of historical research and mapping of the trail network that crosses the villages of the foothills of Borgo Valbelluna\, was sold out. \nOn February 7th\, Daniele Matterazzo will return to the San Felice Hall in Trichiana at 8:45 pm. Daniele will recount his latest adventure in Greenland along an ancient seasonal migration route used by the Inuit since antiquity. DESCRIPTION:The  stumbling stones (in German Stolpersteine) are an initiative by the German artist Gunter Demnig to embed a widespread memory of the citizens deported to Nazi extermination camps into the urban and social fabric of European cities. The initiative began in Cologne in 1995 and has so far led to the installation of about 60\,000 stones in various European cities. It consists of incorporating small stone blocks (standard-sized cobblestones) into the pavement of cities\, usually in front of the last residences of the deportation victims\, covered with a brass plate engraved with the deportee’s details\, including date and place of deportation\, and\, when known\, date of death. \n The stumble is not physical but visual and mental\, as it forces passersby to question that diversity and remember what happened at that place and on that date\, continuously intertwining the past and the present\, memory and current events. The Stolpersteine are a concrete and tangible sign\, yet discreet\, becoming part of the city\, confirming that memory cannot be relegated to occasional and celebratory events; it must be an integral part of daily life. \nOn Holocaust Memorial Day we are honored to announce that the Municipality of Setteville has obtained the Stumbling Stone in memory of Dina Dora Hasenlauf\, a child born in Quero in 1942\, and of the other Jewish children who lived in Quero\, in the internment camp that was established here during World War II. \nA concrete sign\, strongly desired by the Quero community\, to honor the victims\, preserve historical memory\, and not forget the sufferings of a tragic chapter in history\, which will soon be laid in a significant location of the town. \nA stumbling stone for Dina Dora

DESCRIPTION:All activities are free and open access\, but registration is mandatory \n Immerse yourself in biodiversity through excursions and thematic workshops \nThe Municipality of Feltre presents the SIAMO NATURA project!\, designed for everyone with a focus on the younger generation\, to truly connect with our wonderful mountains and the flourishing garden of possibilities and wonders they offer. \n A unique opportunity to rediscover the deep bond between humanity and nature through excursions\,  trekking\,  workshops\, and residential activities dedicated to the youth\, led by expert environmental nature guides. \n The project will involve the Vincheto Nature Reserve\, managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Department of Belluno: a protected oasis according to the Ramsar Convention\, of international importance situated on the right bank of the Piave River.  Established in 1971\, it encompasses 92 hectares of wetlands with standing and flowing water\, riparian forests\, meadows\, and shrub lands. \n  Through guided tours\, participants will learn about the history\, biodiversity\, and significance of the natural site and its relationship with water. \n We will observe the waters\, the great trees\, the rocks and pebbles\, flowers\, and birds as inhabitants of the area\, recounting how humans have interacted with nature by cultivating trees\, gathering reeds\, and building mills. \n The guided tours of the reserve and half-day excursions are easy walks aimed at adults and families with children starting from 6 years old. \n Full-day excursions are aimed at adults and families with teenagers starting from 10 years old.
