DESCRIPTION:Mountain running race \nOne of the most anticipated events in the national trail scene returns: the Gran Raid delle Prealpi Trevigiane celebrates its 14th edition on Saturday\, May 16\, offering four different distances designed to satisfy athletes of all levels: GR80\, GR60\, GR40\, and GR20. \nThe queen race\, the GR80\, takes place on a course of about 80 km with 4\,750 meters of positive elevation gain. The start is scheduled in Segusino\, while the finish will be in Revine Lago\, after completely crossing the ridge of the Prealpi Trevigiane from southwest to northeast. \nNext to the main distance\, the GR60 features a course of about 60 km and 3\,500 meters of positive elevation gain. The route follows that of the queen race up to the 50th kilometer\, then heads towards the finish. \nThe GR40\, with its approximately 40 km and 2\,500 meters of positive elevation gain\, takes place on a loop course starting and finishing in Revine Lago. After an initial independent section\, the route joins that of the longer distances\, sharing the final stretch with the GR80. \nCompleting the program is the GR20\, a race of about 22 km with 1\,250 meters of positive elevation gain. Again\, this route is a loop from Revine Lago: after an initial stretch common with the GR40\, athletes reach the ridge and then continue along the GR60 course until the finish. \nIt is also worth noting the passage of the GR40 and GR60 races in the area of Nevegal\, between Forcella Zoppei\, Malga Col Toront\, and Rifugio Bristot\, scheduled to start from 10:30 a.m.: a strategic point that will offer the public the opportunity to witness the athletes’ passage live\, immersed in a natural setting of great charm.

DESCRIPTION:The Valbelluna is preparing to welcome a visit of extraordinary spiritual\, cultural\, and human value: on the 16th and 17th of May 2026\, His Eminence Reverend Cardinal Ernest Simoni will be a guest in the area for two intense days of meetings\, celebrations\, and testimonials (event promoted by Unidolomiti\, SSML San Domenico\, the Municipality of Limana\, and the San Giovanni Bosco Parish of Belluno). \nA symbolic figure of the Church of our time\, Cardinal Ernest Simoni is internationally known for his extraordinary human story: persecuted during the Albanian communist regime\, he spent many years in prison and forced labor without ever renouncing his faith. His testimony\, authentic and intense\, continues today to speak to both believers and non-believers\, invoking universal values such as dignity\, hope\, dialogue\, and peace. \nThe program will start on Saturday\, May 16th at 4:00 p.m. at the Municipality of Limana with the official welcome from Mayor Michele Talo. Following this\, at 4:15 p.m.\, Cardinal Simoni will be the protagonist of the testimony meeting titled “The Reason for Faith and Spirituality\,” included in the “GrandiosaMente” festival. The event will offer the public the opportunity to directly hear the story of a life marked by suffering\, but also by unshakeable faith and a profound message of reconciliation. \nThe day will continue at 6:30 p.m. with the solemn Holy Mass at the San Giovanni Bosco Parish of Belluno and will conclude at 8:00 p.m. with a convivial moment together with the Albanian community of the area. \nOn Sunday\, May 17th\, the Cardinal will preside over the Holy Mass at the Santa Giustina Parish in Limana at 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon\, at 3:30 p.m.\, a visit is scheduled to the birthplace of Pope St. Pius X in Riese Pio X\, in an ideal journey between memory\, spirituality\, and ecclesial tradition. \nVisit of the Cardinal

Skis\, skates\, and sleds through photographs and historical postcards from the province of Belluno moves to Feltre at the prestigious location of the former Monte di Pietà over the two weekends of May 16-17 and 23-24.An exhibition that takes visitors on a journey through the province of Belluno with 83 historical images from public and private collections\, taken between 1905 and the 1980s\, in a project to recover the memory of local traditions related to transportation and leisure\, culminating in the evolution of equipment as elements of sports practices that became Olympic disciplines (sliding\, skeleton\, bobsled\, skating\, skiing…).The exhibition\, curated by the Belluno Culture and Press Circle and hosted in Feltre thanks to collaboration with the Municipality and the Association Il Fondaco\, is part of the Project #SLIDING. Stories of trails\, between tradition and competition funded by the 2026 Olympics Call of the Cariverona Foundation\, led by the Province of Belluno along with numerous public and private partners from the Belluno territory. DESCRIPTION:The historic center of Belluno is preparing to welcome a new edition of the Belluno Photo Festival\, scheduled from May 16 to June 10. \n The protagonist of this edition will be the theme “Dogs & Cats”\, a tribute to pet photography that brings together authors from various international backgrounds\, offering a nuanced and sensitive perspective on the relationship between humans and animals. Among the artists on display is a selection of photographers specialized in the field\, invited to exhibit their work in some of the most representative locations in the city. \n The official inauguration will be held on Saturday\, May 16 at 6:00 PM at the Museo Civico Fulcis\, marking the beginning of an exhibition route spread between Piazza Duomo and Piazza dei Martiri.
