DESCRIPTION:All activities are free and open access\, but registration is mandatory \n Immerse yourself in biodiversity through excursions and thematic workshops \nThe Municipality of Feltre presents the SIAMO NATURA project!\, designed for everyone with a focus on the younger generation\, to truly connect with our wonderful mountains and the flourishing garden of possibilities and wonders they offer. \n A unique opportunity to rediscover the deep bond between humanity and nature through excursions\,  trekking\,  workshops\, and residential activities dedicated to the youth\, led by expert environmental nature guides. \n The project will involve the Vincheto Nature Reserve\, managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Department of Belluno: a protected oasis according to the Ramsar Convention\, of international importance situated on the right bank of the Piave River.  Established in 1971\, it encompasses 92 hectares of wetlands with standing and flowing water\, riparian forests\, meadows\, and shrub lands. \n  Through guided tours\, participants will learn about the history\, biodiversity\, and significance of the natural site and its relationship with water. \n We will observe the waters\, the great trees\, the rocks and pebbles\, flowers\, and birds as inhabitants of the area\, recounting how humans have interacted with nature by cultivating trees\, gathering reeds\, and building mills. \n The guided tours of the reserve and half-day excursions are easy walks aimed at adults and families with children starting from 6 years old. \n Full-day excursions are aimed at adults and families with teenagers starting from 10 years old.

DESCRIPTION:In case of bad weather\, the bonfire on March 29 is postponed to Saturday\, April 5.The traditional mid-Lent festival returns to Trichiana! \nThe great Mid-Lent festival organized by Pro Loco Trichiana is back. \n“Brusa la Vecia” is a traditional event that takes place during the Mid-Lent period. Following the reading of the “Testament of the Vecia“\, there is the spectacular “bonfire” of the Vecia\, which evokes an ancient custom of popular tradition. It is\, in fact\, a true “rite of passage” from the old to the new\, from the bad season to the good season\, which carries with it the will to avert all malevolence and to favor goodness. \nEvery year\, the Pro Loco of Trichiana has the various districts and fractions “compete” to determine the winner; scores are given based on the reading of the testament\, the bonfire\, and the choreography! The appointment is on Saturday\, March 29 at 8:15 PM with the burning of the Vecia at Parco Lotto. \nMany other initiatives are associated with the event each year. \nOn Saturday\, the 22nd\, in Piazza Merlin and Piazza Saubens from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM\, the market “Robe de na olta” showcases objects and flavors of the past\, an antique market\, and local products with demonstrations of crafts and games from bygone days. \nAt 6:15 PM\, the non-competitive walk “La vecia che camina de not” will depart from Piazza Saubens to discover the most picturesque corners of Trichiana. A 3.5 km route at a free pace with stages of shows\, music\, and refreshment! To participate\, a headlamp or flashlight is required. Registration is €5. At the end\, music with DJ Fabris. DESCRIPTION:Franco Bastianon’s Conference \n“They are robust\, clean\, sparing in words and movements”: these are the succinct traits attributed to the Cimbri in the “Nuova Rivista Forestale” of 1879. \nOther references regarding their attitudes and work capabilities can be gleaned from the birth records preserved in the archives of Tambre and Fregona\, where various activities are associated with the names of the Cimbri: “tamiseri”\, “scatoleri”\, “carpenters”\, and “artists”.  Their presence is documented starting from the early 1800s\, when the Azzalini brothers\, originating from the Asiago Plateau\, settled in Cansiglio and founded the village of Pian dei Lovi\, the first of several groups resulting from subsequent migrations in the area. \nToday it is possible to visit them by walking along the paths traced by the associations that keep the Cimbrian cultural heritage alive. \nThis heritage will be presented by Franco Bastianon for the FRIENDS of the MUSEUM\, a member of the Association and author of the book “Tamiseri and Cimbrian Scatoleri in Cansiglio in the 1800s”\, on Saturday\, March 29 in Sala Bianchi at 5:00 PM. \nA researcher and scholar of not only local history\, Bastianon is already known to the public of the Friends of the Museum for his learned and documented conference about the history of Cansiglio in the 18th century during the government of the Serenissima. \nBorn in Venice\, with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Padova\, and a managerial career\, Franco Bastianon lives in Fregona\, at the foot of Cansiglio\, a human\, historical\, and economic reality to which\, drawing from sources not only local\, he has dedicated and continues to dedicate his literary and archival interests\, in order to reconstruct the picture of a distant past that is still intimately connected with our reality today. \nFree entry.

DESCRIPTION:“The relevance of a metamorphosis” is a temporary exhibition of object books\, created by the Belluno artists Flavio Da Rold\, Alfonso Lentini\, and Giorgio Vazza\, where books lose their function as vehicles of knowledge and become works of art that can be admired on the noble floor of Palazzo Doglioni. The exhibition is part of the series “Books on Rafts” \n“The Relevance of a Metamorphosis” presents books as objects created by Flavio Da Rold\, Alfonso Lentini\, and Giorgio Vazza\, artists residing in Belluno and active at the national and international level in this important sector of contemporary art. \nThe book as an object is a form of art whose origins date back to Futurism and the avant-garde movements of the twentieth century\, but it remains a lively and vibrant reality today. \nIntertwined with other modes of verbo-visual experimentation such as visual poetry or asemic writing\, this particular line of research clearly differs from the traditional “artist’s book” as it removes the book from its specific function\, renders it “illegible\,” and converts it into an autonomous work of art. \nBy subjecting the book to metamorphoses\, hybridizations\, and distortions\, artists from all over the world have created original and startling works to be enjoyed with an open gaze free from schematics. \nBooks as objects have been produced by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti\, Fortunato Depero\, Bruno Munari\, Enrico Baj\, Emilio Isgrò\, Irma Blank\, Giosetta Fioroni\, Maria Lai\, Mirella Bentivoglio\, Yoko Ono\, Guy Debord\, Joseph Kosuth\, Sol LeWitt\, and many others. \nToday\, with the advent of digital technology\, communication is dematerializing\, and the printed book is no longer\, as it has been for centuries\, the primary means of transmitting knowledge.  \nAn artistic operation that places the material component of the book at its center is therefore very current because\, by performing a metamorphosis that transforms the book into a work of art\, it focuses attention on its physical structure and initiates a reflection on the other ongoing transformations in the world of communication. \nFlavio Da Rold was born in 1945 in Belluno\, where he lives and works. In the early 1970s\, he attended the studio of artist Antonio Bassetto\, where he trained as a painter. After various abstract and informal experiences in painting\, his artistic research shifted toward the field of installation.  \nUsing natural materials such as wood\, iron\, and concrete\, along with a constant presence of color\, he creates three-dimensional works that always interact with space\, time\, and memory\, aiming to establish a correct and balanced relationship between art and territory.  \nThroughout his research\, he has also created numerous books as objects. In the late 1980s\, he was one of the founders of the “ZED group” and subsequently of the “ALTA QUOTA” group\, with which he participated in important events including the Venice Biennale.  \nHe was one of the founders of the contemporary art exhibition “Portici Inattuali\,” which took place in Sitran d’Alpago from 1989 to 2001. \nAlfonso Lentini (Favara\, 1951) was formed in the atmosphere of the Sicilian neo-avant-gardes of the late twentieth century.  \nSince the late 1970s\, he has lived in Belluno. His activity spans from the visual arts to writing.  \nIn his numerous exhibitions and installations held in Italy and abroad\, he presents books as objects\, verbo-visual and asemic writings\, artists’ books\, and generally works based on the valorization of words in their material and gestural dimensions. His first solo exhibition dates back to 1976.  \nAs part of a collective project on poetry curated by Marco Nereo Rotelli\, he participated in the 49th Venice Biennale in 2001. In 2013\, together with Aurelio Fort\, he created the international artistic project “Resist to Re/exist\,” culminating in a large urban installation in the streets and squares of Belluno.  \nHis most recent book is “We are the Wolf-Fish” (pièdimosca editions 2023). \nGiorgio Vazza (Longarone\, 1952) lives in Sitran d’Alpago BL. His research develops through drawing\, painting\, installations\, land art\, and books as objects. He was among the artistic directors of the contemporary art exhibition “Portici Inattuali” (Sitran 1989-2001).  \nHe is present in significant artistic events in Italy and abroad\, including the “46th International Art Biennale of Venice” (1995)\, “Topolò Station” (Topolò\, UD 1994 and 1997)\, “Humus Park” (PN 2014 and 2016 with F. Da Rold).  \nIn 2001\, he conceived and created the installation DNA Shell Cathedral with artists Da Rold and Ricci\, inaugurated at the Belluno Hospital by Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini.  \nIn 2023\, he realized the official image for the 27th edition of the festival “Beyond the Peaks\,” where he presents his solo exhibition Reflected Places. DESCRIPTION:Entrance 5 euros\, free for members and children under 11 years old.  \nEvery Saturday in March discovering comets\, planets\, and stars \nOn Saturday\, March 1 at 9 PM  Gabriele Vanin will hold a lecture on an unusual yet stimulating and also entertaining topic\, especially in light of the recent practice that has taken hold\, namely the delivery of all sorts of warnings about imaginary astronomical phenomena that should be visible in the sky\, coming from mysterious scientific information agencies. It will also be an opportunity\, in addition to demystifying this practice\, to have a good laugh at the presentation of the biggest hoaxes and the most solemn blunders made even by prestigious newspapers and various media outlets. If the weather is good\, it will be possible to observe the planets Jupiter and Mars\, attempt to view the white dwarf Sirius B\, explore the deep sky of late winter\, with the open clusters in Auriga\, the Pleiades\, the Orion Nebula\, the Christmas Tree cluster\, and begin to take a first look at the Spring galaxies\, M 81 and M 82.On Saturday\, March 8 and 15\, the observation will be moved to 6 PM  to allow for the observation of the planets Mercury and Venus\, both visible on both evenings in different phase conditions. Mars and Jupiter will still be well visible\, along with the Moon\, around the first quarter on the first night and just past the full moon on the second. Additionally\, it will be possible to attempt to observe Sirius B\, at least on the first night\, when the Moon will cause less interference\, and to show beautiful colored multiple stars. On March 15\, it will also be possible to witness the brightest pass of this round of the International Space Station\, which will pass almost at zenith over the Center.Finally\, on March 29 at 11 AM  there will be a public observation of the partial solar eclipse\, which will occur from 11:30 AM to 12:49 PM\, with a magnitude (the fraction of the solar diameter covered by the Moon) of 0.16\, and a percentage of the solar surface obscured of 8%. There will also be the chance to observe the thin\, yet spectacular\, phase of Venus. We will also try to observe that of Mercury\, although it will be very difficult due to the planet’s faintness and proximity to the Sun.In case of bad weather\, instead of the observations\, replacement lectures will be held at the planetarium\, by Alain Corso on March 8 and 15\, and by Gabriele Vanin on the 29th.

DESCRIPTION:In case of bad weather\, the bonfire on March 29 is postponed to Saturday\, April 5.The traditional mid-Lent festival returns to Trichiana! \nThe great Mid-Lent festival organized by Pro Loco Trichiana is back. \n“Brusa la Vecia” is a traditional event that takes place during the Mid-Lent period. Following the reading of the “Testament of the Vecia“\, there is the spectacular “bonfire” of the Vecia\, which evokes an ancient custom of popular tradition. It is\, in fact\, a true “rite of passage” from the old to the new\, from the bad season to the good season\, which carries with it the will to avert all malevolence and to favor goodness. \nEvery year\, the Pro Loco of Trichiana has the various districts and fractions “compete” to determine the winner; scores are given based on the reading of the testament\, the bonfire\, and the choreography! The appointment is on Saturday\, March 29 at 8:15 PM with the burning of the Vecia at Parco Lotto. \nMany other initiatives are associated with the event each year. \nOn Saturday\, the 22nd\, in Piazza Merlin and Piazza Saubens from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM\, the market “Robe de na olta” showcases objects and flavors of the past\, an antique market\, and local products with demonstrations of crafts and games from bygone days. \nAt 6:15 PM\, the non-competitive walk “La vecia che camina de not” will depart from Piazza Saubens to discover the most picturesque corners of Trichiana.
