These and many other questions will find comprehensive answers thanks to the initiative “Librarian for a Day\,” promoted by the Municipal Administration of Fonzaso through the Civic Library. \nThe project aimed at children and teenagers aged 7 to 14 aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance that libraries hold today for the development of communities: a place dedicated to culture\, socialization\, and personal growth. \nThe initiative includes a series of four meetings with a maximum of 3 participants per time slot (first shift from 10:00 to 10:30 – second shift: from 10:30 to 11:00) which will take place at the Civic Library on the following dates: \nSaturday\, September 27 2025Saturday\, October 4 2025Saturday\, October 11 2025Saturday\, October 25 2025 \nThe teenagers will be the stars of a fun and stimulating journey that will allow them to stand behind the counter\, helping the Librarian with lending to users\, shelving books\, searching for requested books\, stamping\, and labeling new literary works. After colors and flavors\, the palette of autumn leaves connects to the clear sensations we can experience in nature. \nThe fifth meeting will be on Saturday\, October 25 at 08:45 with Ester Andrich and Francesca Barp\, from the Isoipse association\, to experience a profound connection with nature. \nIn autumn\, when humans increase their layers of clothing\, deciduous trees go against the trend: they shed their leaves! They do so with elegance and mastery\, in a parade of colors and shapes that engages all the senses. \nOn the proposed walk\, we will meet master trees\, inhabitants of the Col di Roanza woods\, listen to their stories\, opening our senses to capture the hidden messages that nature has for each of us. In a time that suggests we should all be\, always\, evergreens and always performing\, plants show the beauty of being multicolored\, multifaceted\, inviting us to let go of what is no longer needed\, indicating that\, after blooming and bearing fruit\, it is now time to take a moment to slow down. \nTechnical notes \nThe experience will take place on a 2.5 km route on predominantly flat dirt road with a short but intense ascent (100 meters of elevation gain) on a woodland path. The ascent will be taken at a slow pace so that everyone can manage the effort. DESCRIPTION:Mattmark disaster show \n  \nOn the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mattmark disaster\, an event that occurred on August 30\, 1965\, in Switzerland\, causing one of the most serious workplace tragedies involving Italian emigrants\, especially from the Belluno area\, The Bellunesi Association in The World aims to remember what happened through an immersive exhibition composed of photographs\, documents\, films\, and video interviews with survivors and family members of the victims. \nDuring the construction of the largest dam in Europe\, a massive chunk of ice from the Allalin glacier (about two million cubic meters) broke off and overwhelmed the workers’ accommodations\, causing 88 deaths\, of which 56 were Italians and 17 were from Belluno. The last body was found two years later. The warning signs had been ignored\, but in the trials of 1972\, all the defendants were acquitted\, and the victims’ families even had to pay half of the legal costs. A tragedy without justice that profoundly marked the collective memory of the area. \nAn exhibition to understand what happened from the voice of those who were there\, from the words of those who saw their lives change in that disaster. DESCRIPTION:The exhibition\, which will be visible at the Palazzo delle Contesse in Mel Borgo Valbelluna (BL)\, from October 24\, 2025\, to January 6\, 2026\, consists of an original display of the graphic arts of GUSTAV KLIMT.  \n Several collotypes from Gustav Klimt’s early artistic period will be on display. Little-known works prior to the artist’s secessionist revolution. Issues of the magazine “Das Werk\,” the only monograph conceived\, created\, organized\, and managed until its conclusion by Gustav Klimt. The “Erotic Drawings\,” also in collotype\, published in 1919\, the year following the artist’s death.  \nIn 1898\, Gustav Klimt\, along with his colleagues and Viennese friends\, created a popular magazine for Secessionist art called “VerSacrum\,” which hosted many European avant-garde artists during its six years of publication. In fact\, these issues have become true works of art sought after by scholars and collectors. Some specific issues will be present in original form at the exhibition.  \n This exhibition\, unique in Italy but also requested from abroad (including Vienna)\, consists solely of original works in collotype\, a graphic technique that is currently impractical due to technical\, color\, and cost issues. All exhibited works\, in original form\, are part of a private collection.  \nInauguration on Friday\, October 24. \nThe graphics of Gustav Klimt on display.

With its characteristic basin shape\, it is a true paradise for hiking due to its forest\, which is the second largest in Italy. In this territory\, there is a Cimbrian ethnic settlement dating back to the early 1800s.Of German origin\, this population comes from Roana\, one of the seven municipalities of the Vicentine plateau\, which settled here due to the rich beech forests\, a plant species suitable for artisanal works. Currently\, the villages of Campon and Pian Osteria are inhabited by the Cimbri\, while there are traces of some typical constructions in Le Rotte\, Vallorch\, I Pich\, Pian Canaie\, Canaie\, Pian dei Lovi\, and Valbona. The historical building in Pian Osteria houses the Ethnographic Museum and the Cimbrian culture museum; it is open every day from June 15 to September 15 and can also be visited by reservation during other times of the year. Among the sections\, the first is dedicated to woodworking; the second is dedicated to the artisanal activities of the Cimbri; the third is dedicated to the library and the screening of videos about Cansiglio and Cimbrian culture\, its history\, and its legends. DESCRIPTION:Mountain running race \nOn Sunday\, October 26\, Gosèr Trail returns\, a mountain running race. \nNew course of 14 km with 1000 m of elevation gain: the route\, developed for 95% on dirt and for the remaining 5% on asphalt\, primarily winds through mountain roads and trails\, without any alpine passages. Therefore\, caution and adequate physical preparation are required. The long course will be 14 km with a vertical gain of 1000 meters D+ and will be marked by special white-green ribbons\, signs\, tables\, and arrows. \nThe maximum time to complete the race is set at 4 hours. The Organization reserves the right to change the course where deemed appropriate for safety reasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.There will be checkpoints along the route\, two refreshment stations\, and an additional refreshment station at the finish. \nMini trail recreational-motor event for families and children: non-competitive race. The route\, developed for 80% on dirt and for the remaining 20% on asphalt\, is not suitable for strollers and primarily winds through forest roads\, meadows\, and woods without dangerous passages. The course will be 5 km long and will be marked with special white-green ribbons and tables. \nThe maximum time to complete the march is set at 2 hours. The Organization reserves the right to change the course where deemed appropriate for safety reasons or due to unforeseen circumstances. Travel Diary begins with a melody\, a distant echo.
