DESCRIPTION:free entry  \nBetween 1994 and 2006\, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia were crossed by a long season of terror and disorientation. During those years\, a series of homemade explosives hidden behind seemingly common objects such as pens\, toys\, tubes of mayonnaise\, Kinder eggs\, candles\, and other harmless tools suddenly turned into dangerous traps capable of injuring ordinary and innocent people\, spreading a sense of increasing insecurity. \nThe person responsible for that long series of bomb attacks was never conclusively identified by investigators\, fostering over time a deep collective sense of disorientation and unease that\, years later\, continues to raise perplexities and unresolved questions. The investigations\, the multiple investigative pushes\, the errors\, and the various hypotheses that fueled public debate at that time skillfully intertwine with a broad reflection on the change of an entire era\, accompanying the reader on a journey back through the nineties and the early two-thousands\, returning the typical atmosphere of an Italy that found itself at the extreme boundary between two opposing worlds: that of the illusions of the twentieth century and the uncertain one of the new millennium. The province of the North-East\, often described as the extreme symbol of efficiency and stability\, appears to be crossed by an increasing sense of fragility\, which foreshadowed many of the contemporary uncertainties. \nThe title itself takes on a strongly symbolic value in the novel. The eclipse evoked by Masini not only pertains to the dark and criminal mystery of Unabomber\, but also represents the emblem that slowly descends upon an entire historical season. Thus\, the unresolved mystery becomes a metaphor for something greater: the impossibility of finding clear explanations for an epochal change that involves an increasing number of people\, territories\, and collective identities. The meeting will be a precious opportunity to delve into not only one of the most discussed cases of black news in Italian history but also a valid pretext to deeply reflect on the power of literature in preserving and reinterpreting the value of collective memory\, capable of engaging both those who directly remember those news events and the new generations who wish to understand the dynamics of a crucial period that indelibly marked the entire community. \nIt will discuss one of the darkest cases of contemporary Italian news: that of Unabomber.

The earthquake of June 29 1873 of Alpago and Belluno”\, published by the municipality itself. The event will take place on Friday\, June 19\, 2026 at 8:45 p.m. in the Sala Placido Fabris\, Via Roma – Pieve\, n.54\, Pieve d’Alpago.The volume represents the editorial synthesis of the project “Terremoto150”\, promoted between 2023 and early 2024\, by the Municipality of Alpago with the aim of commemoration and environmental awareness. The initiative was made possible thanks to a financial contribution from the Veneto Region – from the then Department for the Environment\, Climate\, Civil Protection\, and Hydrogeological Risk. Thanks to this support\, between 2023 and early 2024\, numerous activities aimed at the citizenry were promoted\, including public meetings\, educational events\, and the production of a documentary video. The initiatives allowed for a deeper understanding of particularly current topics\, such as the relationship between environmental sustainability and seismic risk\, as well as the importance of designing resilient buildings and infrastructure. \nDuring the presentation of the volume\, the authors of the contributions included in the publication will intervene. The talks will address the theme of the earthquake of June 29\, 1873 from different perspectives\, with contributions of a historical\, geological\, and scientific nature. Aspects related to the memory of the territory and its representation over time will also be explored\, through iconographic sources and cultural testimonies. \nThe evening will open with institutional greetings from the Municipal Administration and will be moderated by Alessandro De Nardi\, delegated councilor for culture. DESCRIPTION:Presentation on fountains in the popular and aristocratic context. \nThe initiative will take place on Saturday\, June 20 at 5:00 p.m. at the “Mons. Savio” Hall in Cadola\, proposing a reflection on the role that fountains have played in the development of communities\, highlighting not only their practical function but also their historical\, cultural\, and identity value. The research conducted by the authors collects documents\, testimonies\, and memories that allow for the reconstruction of events\, traditions\, and aspects of social life related to these artifacts\, contributing to the preservation of a heritage of knowledge that belongs to the memory of the territory. \nEnriching the program will be the intervention of naturalistic and environmental communicator Anacleto Boranga\, who will offer an in-depth look at fountains in both popular and aristocratic contexts\, highlighting their different functions and meanings throughout history. His contribution will allow for the inclusion of the local reality in a broader perspective\, emphasizing how these places have represented\, in different times and environments\, essential points of reference for people’s lives. \nThe presentation of the volume will constitute the central moment of the event\, offering the public the opportunity to learn about the research journey developed by the authors and to explore stories\, curiosities\, and testimonies that narrate the relationship between the population and the fountains in the area.
