Actor and trainer Alberto Fornasati has led these workshops divided into three groups of different ages\, and on May 17 at 6 p.m.\, he will showcase the results of these sessions. \nOn Saturday\, May 23 at 9 p.m.\, the group i Comelianti from S.Stefano di Cadore\, one of the most active companies in the Province\, will present a “noir” comedy Innocenti\, ma non troppo\, loosely based on the film “The Conspiracy of Innocents” by Alfred Hitchcock. \nFollowing that\, on May 30 at 9 p.m.\, the company LaTrappola from Vicenza returns to Mel with the show “I will kill you until you die”\, a sparkling comedy with a comic crescendo of paradoxical and hilarious situations that will reveal more than just a single mystery. \nWe continue on Saturday\, June 6 at 9 p.m. with “Sic Transit Gloria Mundi – The Pope Woman” by Ippogrifo Produzioni from Verona. In previous editions\, it has gathered increasing public acclaim\, thus becoming a fixed appointment at the beginning of the summer season in Borgo Valbelluna. \nLike every year\, it will see the participation of artisans in the sector and numerous high-quality exhibitors from all over Italy. As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.

Miari” by Stefano Emmi and Maria Grazia Feltre. \nBorgo Piave ETC aps with the musical association “A. Miari” of Stefano Emmi and Maria Grazia Feltre will lead us\, with a musical narrative\, to discover the opera “L’elisir d’amore” by Gaetano Donizetti together with Maestro Carlo De Battista and Dheborah Bordignon\, Alessandra Giacobbi\, Francesca Meneghesso\, Alessandra Pugliese\, Virginia Riccardi\, Lucio De Cassan and Giorgio Zatta. \nThe listening guide is a project that Stefano and Maria Grazia have been carrying out for several years with the aim of inspiring the audience in opera through a storytelling of the plot\, characters\, and locations\, interspersed with a live performance of the most famous arias from the selected opera. \nL’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti is a famous playful melodrama in two acts. \nThe opera\, set in a village in the Basque Country at the end of the 18th century\, tells the story of the shy peasant Nemorino\, who is in love with Adina. \nTo win her over\, the young man buys a magic potion from the charlatan Dulcamara\, discovering in the end that the true elixir is his reciprocated feelings. \nThe peasant Nemorino is in love with the rich and educated Adina\, who rejects him. The arrogant sergeant Belcore arrives in the village\, immediately asking for the girl’s hand. \nDesperate\, Nemorino turns to Doctor Dulcamara\, a traveling charlatan who sells him a love potion (actually just simple Bordeaux wine)\, claiming that it will take effect the next day. \nDrunk from the wine\, Nemorino begins to treat Adina with feigned indifference. In retaliation\, the girl agrees to marry Belcore that very day. \nAs the wedding preparations are in full swing\, Nemorino enlists in Belcore’s army just to receive the pay and buy another dose of elixir. \nMeanwhile\, word spreads that Nemorino has become incredibly wealthy thanks to an inheritance from a deceased uncle.
