DESCRIPTION:Presentation of the new book by David Bellatalla. \n   The volume “Mongolia and the Mongols“\, published by Saturnia\, is an in-depth analysis of the written testimonies of sedentary people about the nomadic peoples of Mongolia.  \nThe author\, anthropologist and university researcher David Bellatalla\, moves away from purely academic perspectives to offer a view that promotes intercultural dialogue in an increasingly complex world.  \nThe work explores how humans interpret cultures different from their own\, often revealing prejudices or\, conversely\, utopian idealizations.  Through a comparative reading of travel diaries\, accounts from pilgrims\, soldiers\, and adventurers\, the volume highlights the biases and perceptions of settled people towards nomads.  \nBellatalla’s research focuses on sixteen key themes\, selecting texts that express not only judgments but also astonishment\, disappointment\, appreciation\, and aversion. The aim is to showcase the dual face of prejudice\, making the work accessible to a wide audience. Bellatalla’s experience\, which has seen him conducting research in Mongolia since 1994\, is also evidenced by his other works on shamanism and his humanitarian expeditions\, such as the S.o.S. Taiganà project. His long career and his role as Cultural Ambassador of Mongolia since 2022 confirm his profound knowledge of the subject.  \n   The following morning\, Tuesday\, September 23\, there will be a meeting dedicated to middle school students. The event\, titled “In the Lands of Genghis Khan“\, will use evocative images to explore nomadism and encourage reflection on the substantial differences between the sedentary and nomadic ways of life.

The exhibition represents the first official event related to the Mostra Mercato 2025. \nThe inauguration will take place on Thursday\, September 25 at 6:00 PM at the multifunctional hall of the Cultural Center\, located at via Cal de Formiga 31\, with a presentation by Dr. Cristina Pierotti. \n The exhibition\, sponsored by the Municipality of Santa Giustina and the Department of Culture\, is titled “HAYALLER”\, a Turkish word that means “dreams.” An evocative title\, inspired by a musical piece from a Turkish band particularly dear to the artist\, whose notes will accompany the exhibition path. The music\, in fact\, is the same that the author usually listens to during the creative process. \n On display are 24+1 works\, created in the last five years\, using oil on canvas technique\, in sizes 50×70 and 60×80. The paintings present themselves as an inner journey\, deeply personal\, where abstraction merges with figurative elements and recurring dreamlike symbols. The artist’s pictorial language moves between metaphysics and surrealism\, giving life to works that configure as “daydreams”: sometimes whispered\, other times shouted\, but always authentically experienced. \n The exhibition will remain open until October 10. DESCRIPTION:Fonzaso\, at about 329 meters above sea level\, is located in a privileged position\, within a flat basin surrounded by mountains and has always been an important junction between the roads of Primiero\, Feltrino\, and Valsugana.  \nThroughout history\, it has faced fires\, barbarian invasions\, and many events that led to years of famine and plague\, but Fonzaso\, leveraging its fields and mountainous slopes\, has always managed to rise again.  \nDespite various adventures and misadventures\, the population has never stopped cultivating their land; the main resources were grapes and silkworms\, along with timber and hay\, and today these products\, especially grapes\, are being rediscovered. Some locals are indeed bringing back to light many grape varieties that were once well-known. \nDuring the Grape Festival\, there will be opportunities to taste grappas and wines from the area\, the old courtyards will be opened with demonstrations of ancient crafts.  \nThere will be organized guided tours to discover the historic and natural beauties of Fonzaso\, and there will be food stands offering many specialties and good music. \nGastronomic and cultural event of the wines of Belluno

The exhibition represents the first official event related to the Mostra Mercato 2025. \nThe inauguration will take place on Thursday\, September 25 at 6:00 PM at the multifunctional hall of the Cultural Center\, located at via Cal de Formiga 31\, with a presentation by Dr. Cristina Pierotti. \n The exhibition\, sponsored by the Municipality of Santa Giustina and the Department of Culture\, is titled “HAYALLER”\, a Turkish word that means “dreams.” An evocative title\, inspired by a musical piece from a Turkish band particularly dear to the artist\, whose notes will accompany the exhibition path. The music\, in fact\, is the same that the author usually listens to during the creative process. \n On display are 24+1 works\, created in the last five years\, using oil on canvas technique\, in sizes 50×70 and 60×80. The paintings present themselves as an inner journey\, deeply personal\, where abstraction merges with figurative elements and recurring dreamlike symbols. The artist’s pictorial language moves between metaphysics and surrealism\, giving life to works that configure as “daydreams”: sometimes whispered\, other times shouted\, but always authentically experienced. \n The exhibition will remain open until October 10.
