You will discover the Valle del Mis with the splendid “Cadini del Brentòn“\, a sequence of 15 deep cavities carved by the waters of the Brentòn stream; the Val Canzoi with its natural biodiversity; the Val di Zoldo with forests rich in legends; meadows and thickets of Salet\, where the Forest Company is present with beautiful horses\, and where there are many wild animals nearby such as frogs\, toads\, deer\, and roe deer. \n  The park is characterized by a great variety of environments: from the riparian areas in the valley bottom to the rocky walls at high altitudes\, passing through broadleaf forests\, coniferous forests\, high-altitude shrublands\, meadows\, and scree. DESCRIPTION:The evening of September 17 is organized by the President of Anpi in Feltre\, Giovanni Perenzin\, and Professor Franco Ladini\, organizer of the photographic exhibition Ruggero Monego: a life courageously lived. \nThe evening of September 17 is organized by the President of Anpi di Feltre Giovanni Perenzin and Professor Franco Ladini\, the organizer of the exhibition who will present a documentary about the exhibition using a video projector. \nThe event begins with an introductory greeting from the daughters of Ruggero Monego: Flavia\, Francesca\, and Tiziana. Franco Ladini\, a former radiologist\, is passionate about photography\, particularly in the search for old photographs of the territory of S. Giustina and Cesiomaggiore. \nDuring his search for old photographs of the territory of Cesiomaggiore\, he discovers photos taken by Ruggero Monego on the day of Liberation in Santa Giustina and decides to organize an exhibition in collaboration with the provincial administration\, which now hosts the documentation in a permanent exhibition. \nGiovanni Perenzin\, born on October 7\, 1945\, in Feltre where he resides\, is a retired high school literature teacher and was the Mayor of Feltre in the 1970s. He has been President of the provincial ANPI committee of Belluno. DESCRIPTION:Presentation of the novel by Adriana Lotto\, La casa di Sveti Vid\, Cierre Edizioni\, 2025.  \nIn conversation with the author\, the Director of Isbrec\, Enrico Bacchetti.  \nAdriana Lotto is the president of the cultural association Tina Merlin\, is a teacher and researcher\, and taught contemporary history at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Iulm in Milan\, Feltre campus\, from 1997 to 2003.  \nShe has been a subject expert at the Department of History at the University of Venice and is part of the board of the Historical Institute of Belluno for the Resistance and Contemporary Age.  \nAuthor of books\, essays\, and articles in magazines and newspapers\, she has published with Cierre: A Woman at War. Diary of Isabella Bigontina Sperti 1918 (1996)\, That of Vajont\, Tina Merlin\, a Woman Against (2021); Between Charity and Credit. The Monte di Pietà of Belluno in the 19th and 20th Centuries (2021).  \nWith Campedel she published Belluno from Annexation to the End of the Nineteenth Century (2016). The novel La casa di Sveti Vid\, Cierre Edizioni 2025\, is presented in preview at Villa Patt.  \nThe cover image is a painting by Adriana\, “Three Women by the Sea” 80×100\, oil on canvas\, 2002.  \nThe protagonist is the young Croatian Marija\, and along with her\, the women from both sides of the Adriatic play leading roles.  \nOn an April evening in 2015\, the two women take turns narrating a story that begins in 1943 on the island of Veglia (Krk) occupied by the Italians\, unfolding in fascist internment camps in Italy\, in Belluno\, during the Resistance\, and finally again between Veglia and Rijeka until 1950.  \nThe story is inspired by real events.  \nEnrico Bacchetti (Belluno\, 1968) has been a teacher on leave since 2010 at Isbrec\, which he has directed since 2014.  \nA medievalist by training\, he graduated with a thesis on the Venetian prison system in the medieval period. \nWith Adriana Lotto and Diego Cason\, he has curated the scientific direction of the volume The Courage and the Passion. Snow as a metaphor\, landscape\, or protagonist will guide their words in a creative writing workshop titled Like Snow curated by Il Portolano.   \nSubsequently\, starting from the book The Incredible Story of Snow and Its Appearance: From Mesopotamian Civilizations to the Refrigerator\, from Cocktails to Climate Emergency\, there will be a conversation with the author Alberto Grandi and geographer Sara Luchetta.
