SUMMARY:Masquerade. Martin Creed
DESCRIPTION:Contemporary art exhibition Masquerade. Martin Creed. \nThe research of the British artist\, performer\, and composer Martin Creed (1968) – who will be the protagonist of the next MASQUERADE event – is made of revolution\, lightness\, scratches\, nonconformity\, and rebellious power\, evocation\, and enigma. \nIf we were to use only two words to describe it\, they would be bold and crazy. \nThe Burel Contemporary Art Museum will transform into a vibrant environment of identities\, becoming a playful space for visitors. Get ready for a transformation! \nThe exhibition at the Burel Contemporary Art Museum\, organized in collaboration with Friends of the Burel Museum and Banca Prealpi SanBiagio\, will remain open until December 14\, with free admission\, and will be accessible on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 15:30 to 18:30 and on Sundays from 15:30 to 18:30.

SUMMARY:Uno nessuna centomila
DESCRIPTION:Readings and reflections for the day against violence against women. \nOn the occasion of the day against violence against women\, on Tuesday\, November 25 at 8:45 PM at the Hall of Frescoes in Mel – Borgo Valbelluna\, the show “Uno nessuna centomila” will take the stage with Evarossella Biolo and Marco Artusi. \nFrom the texts of Lella Costa\, Franca Rame\, Serena Dandini. \nThe reading addresses the universal theme of violence\, exploring its different forms\, some of which may seem subtle or comedic\, while others generate anger and indignation. \nHowever\, the work promotes the necessity of speaking openly about violence\, emphasizing that silence is not the solution and that only through open dialogue can we hope to provoke change. \nIn its powerful epilogue\, a message of hope is offered that highlights the fundamental role of women in the fight against violence and reminds us that this crucial discussion should not be limited to specific occasions\, but must become a constant part of our social fabric.

SUMMARY:Mondovisioni. I documentari di Internazionale
DESCRIPTION:Screening of the film Niñxs. Directed by Kani Lapuerta \nThe exhibition Mondovisioni: the documentaries of “Internazionale” tells the complexity of our time through exemplary and unfiltered stories that engage and concern us. \nTHE PLOT\nFrom the magical city of Tepoztlán\, Mexico\, fifteen-year-old Karla intimately and unapologetically guides the audience on her journey of self-discovery\, facing the joys and uncertainties of adolescence alongside society’s gender prejudices. As Karla navigates her transition\, director Kani Lapuerta transforms eight years of footage into a joyful film that presents an encouraging and sweet coming-of-age story through Karla’s exploration of her transgender identity\, speaking of resilience and the complexity and difficulties of growing up\, turning out to be both specific and universal. \nTHE DIRECTOR\nKani Lapuerta is a trans director and researcher. She earned a master’s degree in documentary cinema from the Escuela Nacional de Estudios Cinematográficos de la UNAM in Mexico. Her work explores projects and spaces that challenge hegemonies of gender\, sexuality\, and corporeality\, opening new possibilities through the audiovisual medium. In 2023\, she wrote and directed La UNAM sin Límites\, a miniseries produced by UNAM and Procine CDMX\, proposing narratives of dissent between sexuality and gender within Mexico’s largest university. In 2021\, La Fuga\, a short documentary exploring masculinity and the prison experience\, premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival and was awarded at several international festivals. Kani also conducts cinema workshops in institutions and cultural centers in Mexico and abroad\, sharing her passion for audiovisual language as a tool for creation and transformation.

SUMMARY:Ma le Dolomiti cosa sono?

SUMMARY:Un Prete visionario - Antonio Sperti e l'orfanotrofio di Belluno
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, November 27\, the presentation of the volume by Leopoldo A. Cafaro “A Visionary Priest – Antonio Sperti and the Orphanage of Belluno” will take place at Palazzo Crepadona. \nIntroduced by Adriana Lotto\, historian\, and Giorgio Reolon\, Bellunese Institute of Social and Cultural Research. In 1855\, the Belluno area was struck by a severe cholera epidemic\, and many children suddenly found themselves orphaned. \nThe Bellunese priest Don Antonio Sperti (1821-1898) was so affected that he decided to abandon his position as director of the Gregoriano Gymnasium to dedicate himself to the poor orphans. In December 1855\, he rented some rooms in the former Capuchin convent in the central Piazza Campitello in Belluno and brought 14 boys there: thus\, the Sperti Orphanage was born. After just three years\, Don Antonio was able to open a new\, more welcoming and spacious location\, and later\, not satisfied\, he wanted to restore and reopen the nearby church of San Rocco\, which was then abandoned. \nThroughout his life\, he had to face debts as well as criticism related to numerous initiatives\, but strong in his unwavering faith\, he succeeded in overcoming all difficulties\, even in creative ways. Surprising were the pilgrimages\, true tours with the orphanage’s band that traveled\, on foot\, through the provinces of Northern Italy. In 1861\, the band arrived (this time by train) in Turin\, where Don Sperti met his colleague and mentor Don Giovanni Bosco. \nBook presentation

SUMMARY:Parlami di Gaza
DESCRIPTION:Traveling exhibition on Palestine yesterday\, today\, and tomorrow. \nThe Palestine Committee Feltre and Lo.Co – Local Community invite you on Thursday\, November 27\, 2025\, at 8:00 PM at the SOMS of Lentiai\, where the event “Talk to me about Gaza” will take place\, an itinerant exhibition that tells the story of Palestine yesterday\, today\, and tomorrow through the voices of Palestinians in the diaspora and beyond. \nThe exhibition space will be set up with photographs by Ahmad Jarboa\, a Palestinian nurse and photographer who survived the genocide in Gaza. He is currently still in Gaza\, displaced in a tent following the Zionist bombings that destroyed his home. With his shots\, which he has long aspired to show the world\, he invites you to immerse yourself in the wounded beauty of the city of Gaza. It will be possible to purchase the photographs within the exhibition\, and the money will be sent entirely to Ahmad Jarboa in Gaza. \nThe exhibition will be accompanied by 4 readings written by Marvat Alramli\, a screenwriter and set designer born in Gaza. Since she moved to Italy at the age of 12\, she has never seen her hometown again. Due to the genocide\, her memories have been swept away\, and she will never see some of her relatives again. One of the readings\, titled “Traces and Air\,” is a tribute to the beauty of memories of a stolen childhood. \nThe readings will be interspersed with 5 pieces performed live by Mohammed Abu Senjer\, a Palestinian musician who survived the genocide. Despite the loss of loved ones and the still fresh wound left by the horror and ferocity of Zionism\, he has decided not to give up. Between improvisation and traditional pieces\, he will take the audience on a journey to discover Palestinian resilience. \nThis exhibition aims to support and keep the voice of the Palestinian people alive and active. The goal is to decolonize Western thought and to unveil the ethnic cleansing project in progress by the Zionist occupation through art and music. \nFollowing will be an apericena. \nFree admission and open to all. Due to the intensity of the event\, punctuality is requested.

SUMMARY:Paolo Cevoli in "Figli di Troia"
DESCRIPTION:TICKETSStalls € 39Central Gallery € 39Side Gallery € 34Gallery (unassigned seating) € 34Gallery (limited view or standing) € 23 \nOn Friday\, November 28\, the show by Paolo Cevoli in “Figli di Troia” will take place at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati. \nIn this new monologue\, Paolo Cevoli ironically and contemporarily narrates the legendary journey of Aeneas\, comparing it to other journeys that have marked the history of humanity. From Christopher Columbus to Little Red Riding Hood\, from the Viking prince Ragnar to his father Luciano who emigrated to Australia in the 1950s.Aeneas\, the defeated hero\, flees the burning Troy with his deities in his pocket\, his father on his shoulders\, and his little son by the hand: his roots and the hope for a better future. After a thousand hardships\, he arrives at the mouth of the Tiber where he finds a sow nursing – a prophetic sign for the place to settle – and while the women prepare some flatbreads\, the Trojan exiles sacrifice the sow and her piglets. The epic journey of the founder of Rome concludes with a picnic featuring porchetta sandwiches. This and many other episodes from the Virgilian poem are at the heart of Paolo Cevoli’s tale\, rediscovering the values and roots of the Italian people. Just as Virgil did\, who wrote the Aeneid to give a noble lineage to the ancient Romans\, our ancestors. He thought: rather than being the children of no one\, it is better to be the children of Troy. \nTickets are available online: VivaTicket and TicketOne.\nEvent information and presale: Scoppio Spettacoli Tel. 0437 948874 \n \nComedy show

SUMMARY:Il gatto nero
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, November 28 at 8:45 PM\, at the civic center of Sospirolo\, there will be “The Black Cat“\, for the Veneto Spettacoli di Mistero series\, a story among the most famous of Edgar Allan Poe’s works\, written in 1843\, featuring a shadow show that narrates it in an unusual way. \nThe events are narrated from the perspective of the murderer\, a death-row convict who\, knowing he won’t be believed\, wants to reveal what happened to him\, to lighten his conscience and explain what led him to his conviction. The murderer claims to have been terrorized by some seemingly supernatural events and wants to recount how they unfolded\, hoping that some reader will find a more logical explanation than his. \nThe language and technique used have a great impact on the audience. The focal point of the scene is a small screen mounted on poles. There are no shields or partitions. The manipulator is visible and is an integral part of the show\, which aims to bring the protagonist back on different levels: video\, silhouettes\, body shadow\, manipulator. \nOn the screen\, rear projections blend and alternate with front video projections. The video creates the backbone of the show\, directing the audience’s gaze to the narrator’s face. The sound environment is entrusted to an electric bass and a loop station. The musical actions of Nelso Salton follow the development of the story live\, completing and enriching the expressiveness of the images. \nThe evening concludes with a dialogue between the artists\, Nicola Pauletti and Nelso Salton\, and the audience. \nFree participation. \nVeneto Mystery Shows

SUMMARY:ITALIA: Nazione senza confini
DESCRIPTION:Historical and cultural conference cycle \nITALY: A NATION WITHOUT BORDERS The Long Journey of the Ideas of “Nation” – Young Italy and Guelf Italy\, Liberal Monarchy and Fascist Empire. \nCurated by ISBREC Belluno\, with the participation of Mario Isnenghi. \nOn June 1\, 1965\, twelve former partisans founded the Historical Institute of the Resistance of Belluno. To celebrate its 60th anniversary\, Isbrec is organizing a series of five meetings that will carry us through December. The review\, entitled “Italy: A Nation Without Borders\,” will help us reflect on the idea of nation\, how this concept has evolved from the late 19th century to fascism\, and will allow us to question this concept in relation to republican Italy and some significant turning points in our history\, from the partisan struggle to the transition between the First and Second Republic\, up to the theme of borders and their permeability. We thank the friends who have made themselves available to celebrate Isbrec. \nFree entry.
