DESCRIPTION:Starting from the Museum where there is the possibility to park\, you go up towards Podenzoi for about 1 km\, at the height of the schools\, large parking area. Then another 500 m and there is a final parking lot (reserved for people with disabilities\, elderly\, and mothers with children). The event will be marked with signs and takes place about 200 m from the parking lot.  \nSounds\, voices\, lights\, and stone \nOn Friday\, September 12 at 8:00 PM\, at Cava Rodei: “LITOMORFOSI\, the voice of the eras“. Five musicians\, one narrative voice\, a stone carver\, and a person to manage the live images. The performance combines sounds\, voices\, lights\, and stone\, talks about the journey of stone and man\, the stone as a material that is extracted by the quarryman and sculpted by the stone carver. The man who is replaced by machines. And the stone by cement. \nThe event takes place at the former Cava Rodei: starting from the Museum (where there is parking available) you walk up towards Podenzoi for about 1 km\, at the height of the schools\, large parking area. Then another 500 m. (at the bridge) the last parking area (reserved for people with disabilities\, seniors\, and mothers with children). The event will be marked with signs and takes place about 200 m. from the parking. \nA participation fee of 5 € is requested\, which includes an entrance ticket to the Museum (non-nominative). Reservation is recommended at our email address. \nIn case of bad weather\, the concert will be postponed to Thursday\, September 18.

DESCRIPTION:Inauguration of the photographic exhibition Ruggero Monego: a life courageously lived at Villa De Manzoni in Patt di Sedico from September 12 to 28\, 2025. \nThe exhibition focuses on the final period of World War II\, particularly on the day of Liberation in Santa Giustina. \nThe displayed photographs\, taken on May 2\, 1945\, document the welcome given by local people to the liberating Allied troops. \nThese images were preserved by Ruggero Monego\, who made them available for reproduction about twenty years ago\, along with his personal memories of that day. \nThe exhibition will be open to the public until September 28\, 2025. \nRuggero Monego was born in Cesiomaggiore\, Belluno\, in 1920\, graduated as a technical draftsman\, and worked as a carpenter. \nEnlisted in 1940\, he fought during World War II in France and Montenegro. \nAfter September 8\, 1943\, he joined the Resistance\, where he adopted the code name Tabor. \nHe fought with the Gramsci Brigade on the Vette Feltrine\, where he distinguished himself for his bravery. \nAfter the war\, the difficulty of reintegrating into social life and the pain from the death of his brother Franco\, killed by the Nazis\, led him to emigrate to Belgium\, where he worked as a miner. \nHe returned to Italy with his wife Teresa and their firstborn Franco; later\, three daughters\, Flavia\, Francesca\, and Tiziana\, were born. \nAdmission to the exhibition is free. \nThe opening hours of the exhibition: Monday to Friday by reservation\, by contacting via email m.barbonetti@provincia.belluno.it or calling +39 0437 959331. \nOn Saturdays and Sundays\, admission is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

DESCRIPTION:From September 12 to 28\, a photography exhibition titled “Ruggero Monego: a life lived with courage” will be held at Villa Patt in Sedico. \nThe exhibition focuses on the final period of World War II\, particularly on the day of Liberation in Santa Giustina. The photographs on display\, taken on May 2\, 1945\, document the welcome given by the local people to the Allied liberation troops. These images were preserved by Ruggero Monego\, who made them available for reproduction about twenty years ago\, along with his personal memories of that day. \nRuggero Monego was born in Cesiomaggiore\, Belluno\, in 1920. He graduated as a technical draftsman and worked as a carpenter. Drafted in 1940\, he fought during World War II in France and Montenegro. After September 8\, 1943\, he joined the Resistance\, adopting the battle name Tabor. He fought with the Gramsci Brigade in the Vette Feltrine\, where he distinguished himself for his courage. After the war\, the difficulty of reintegrating into social life and the pain of his brother Franco’s death\, killed by the Nazis\, led him to emigrate to Belgium\, where he worked as a miner.
