DESCRIPTION:Participation fee: € 10.00 \nReservation preferred at number 329 115 4504 \nWalk and animated readings \nThe year is 1337. \nAt the little church of San Siro in the valley of Seren\, home to a hermit\, the fierce podestà of Feltre\, Manricardo\, finds himself fleeing from the uprising of the people\, still furious over the exile sentence of the noble Leandro\, who\, having taken refuge in the valley of Avien with his family\, is falsely labeled as a brigand. \nJoined by his innocent daughter Elvira\, Manricardo is headed towards Enego when he is captured by Leandro\, who drags both of them into a cave carved out of the steep mountain and overshadowed by an incredible boulder. While the innocent Elvira softens Leandro’s heart\, who falls in love with her in return\, her father\, driven by a desire for revenge\, attempts to poison the water\, knowing that it would cause his own daughter’s death. Discovered\, he is bound and left alone in the cave\, destined to die of thirst. \nThrough Elvira’s intercession\, he repents and is then freed. DESCRIPTION:Concert by a brass group from the Belluno Philharmonic 1867 and choir offered to the citizens on the occasion of the patron saint of musicians. \nTo honor the feast of Saint Cecilia\, the patron saint of musicians\, a brass group from the Philharmonic of Belluno 1867 and chorus will offer a concert in one of the most evocative places in the city\, the Church of Santo Stefano: Monteverdi and Purcell\, this is the common thread of the concert.  \nTwo ways of viewing musical art between the sixteenth and seventeenth century will be compared.  \nThe Mosaiko choir and the brass quartet from the Philharmonic of Belluno will take the audience back to experience unique emotions\, through the ancient sounds of the masters of the European musical Renaissance.  \nA repertoire of rare refinement and execution.     \nThe music will resonate through the Gothic nave\, creating an atmosphere of spirituality and brotherhood.  \nThe concert is free of charge.

DESCRIPTION:Evening of readings and book presentation. \nThis year\, the theme of the literary competition\, promoted by the Pro Loco “Monti del Sole” and the civic library of the Municipality of Sospirolo\, with the jury presidency entrusted to the writer and honorary citizen of Sospirolo Antonia Arslan\, features the figure of the devil for the adult section and legends inspired by Cornia in the youth section. \nThe choice of this theme is intentional to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the publication of the book “The Gold of Cornia. Nature and People in the Landscape of Masiere di Vedana\,” curated by the Pro Loco. \nThere are two paths: \n– the adult section (for those aged 15 and over born and/or residing in Triveneto)\, which invites participants to write stories on the universal theme of the pact with the devil\, the relationship established between the parties\, and the comical or tragic consequences that ensue; \n– the school section\, for classes and groups from primary and lower secondary schools in Triveneto\, called to invent new legends to explain mysteries and strange phenomena of nature. \nEvent program: gathering at 10:30 AM at the Civic Center of Sospirolo followed by the award ceremony of the Sospirolo Literary Competition between Legends and Mysteries (16th edition) with the reading of the winning stories by Cristina Gianni. \n  \nParticipation in the event is free.

As Karla navigates her transition\, director Kani Lapuerta transforms eight years of footage into a joyful film that presents an encouraging and sweet coming-of-age story through Karla’s exploration of her transgender identity\, speaking of resilience and the complexity and difficulties of growing up\, turning out to be both specific and universal. \nTHE DIRECTOR\nKani Lapuerta is a trans director and researcher. She earned a master’s degree in documentary cinema from the Escuela Nacional de Estudios Cinematográficos de la UNAM in Mexico. Her work explores projects and spaces that challenge hegemonies of gender\, sexuality\, and corporeality\, opening new possibilities through the audiovisual medium. In 2023\, she wrote and directed La UNAM sin Límites\, a miniseries produced by UNAM and Procine CDMX\, proposing narratives of dissent between sexuality and gender within Mexico’s largest university. DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, November 27\, the presentation of the volume by Leopoldo A. Cafaro “A Visionary Priest – Antonio Sperti and the Orphanage of Belluno” will take place at Palazzo Crepadona. \nIntroduced by Adriana Lotto\, historian\, and Giorgio Reolon\, Bellunese Institute of Social and Cultural Research. In 1855\, the Belluno area was struck by a severe cholera epidemic\, and many children suddenly found themselves orphaned. \nThe Bellunese priest Don Antonio Sperti (1821-1898) was so affected that he decided to abandon his position as director of the Gregoriano Gymnasium to dedicate himself to the poor orphans. In December 1855\, he rented some rooms in the former Capuchin convent in the central Piazza Campitello in Belluno and brought 14 boys there: thus\, the Sperti Orphanage was born. After just three years\, Don Antonio was able to open a new\, more welcoming and spacious location\, and later\, not satisfied\, he wanted to restore and reopen the nearby church of San Rocco\, which was then abandoned. \nThroughout his life\, he had to face debts as well as criticism related to numerous initiatives\, but strong in his unwavering faith\, he succeeded in overcoming all difficulties\, even in creative ways. Surprising were the pilgrimages\, true tours with the orphanage’s band that traveled\, on foot\, through the provinces of Northern Italy. In 1861\, the band arrived (this time by train) in Turin\, where Don Sperti met his colleague and mentor Don Giovanni Bosco. \nBook presentation
