DESCRIPTION:Free guided tours for everyone \nReturns “In the Park with Mom and Dad“\, the Environmental Education program in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park with guided excursions offering many environmental education and sustainability insights for children and families in many wonderful places in the Park. \n  For the summer\, activities are proposed in many known and lesser-known places and trails of the Park\, all with special and important characteristics.  You will discover the Valle del Mis with the splendid “Cadini del Brentòn“\, a sequence of 15 deep cavities carved by the waters of the Brentòn stream; the Val Canzoi with its natural biodiversity; the Val di Zoldo with forests rich in legends; meadows and thickets of Salet\, where the Forest Company is present with beautiful horses\, and where there are many wild animals nearby such as frogs\, toads\, deer\, and roe deer. \n  The park is characterized by a great variety of environments: from the riparian areas in the valley bottom to the rocky walls at high altitudes\, passing through broadleaf forests\, coniferous forests\, high-altitude shrublands\, meadows\, and scree. DESCRIPTION:It has been there for 3300 years\, a small witness of the era of great European archaeological sites. \nVisiting the ancient site of Noàl\, today Archaeological Park\, means rewinding the tape of time and returning to the Bronze Age\, the Iron Age\, and the Middle Ages. A place of evocative beauty\, between the Piave and Cordevole rivers\, Noàl has witnessed the succession of peoples and metallurgical innovations\, empires\, and warrior bishops. \nToday\, thanks to a long process of research and rediscovery\, the archaeological park of Noàl fully restores the mystery and energy of millennia of history and legends:  it is enough to close your eyes to imagine the first blacksmiths at work\, medieval music\, and songs. \nTo relive the history of Noàl\, within the Park there is an educational path equipped with panels illustrating the history of the place\, the research\, the findings\, and indicating the layers of different periods of the fortified settlement/castle. \nAt the top of the tower\, built to a height similar to the ancient one to protect its remains\, with a panoramic view of 360° over the valley and the peaks of the Belluno Dolomites Park\, is the educational classroom\, equipped with display cases housing perfect replicas of the found artifacts\, explanatory panels\, and panoramic panels to survey and identify the ancient network of castles\, protohistoric settlements\, lookout towers\, the main peaks of the surrounding mountains\, the villages\, the Piave\, and the Cordevole. \nIt is recommended to bring a windbreaker or a sweatshirt (the tower can have a cool breeze). \nIn case of bad weather\, visits will be canceled. \nFor group visits (+10 people)\, it is always necessary to book at this address giannidv42@gmail.com to agree on the timing. \nGuided tours of the archaeological park of Noal with the opening of the tower.
