DESCRIPTION:Cycling race for very young. \nThe 55th Fonzaso Municipal Trophy\, a competition for young people of interest in the Triveneto region\, will take place on Saturday\, August 30. \nParticipants are expected to gather at 1:30 PM in Fonzaso on Via Angelo Zucco at the Tennis Courts. The start will then take place at 3:30 PM. \nThe finish is expected at 6:30 PM\, followed by the awards ceremony with the presence of the Fonzaso Municipal Administration represented by Mayor Pasa Cristian. \nThe route will cover the following streets: Via A. Zucco\, Via Masi\, Via Mengotti\, Via Primiero\, P.zza Angeli\, Via Gino Rocca\, Via Mengotti returning to Via A. Zucco. \nFinally\, there will be refreshments with excellent cuisine provided by the Pro Loco of Fonzaso\, with staff from G.S. Fonzaso. \nThe race will be followed by motorcyclists from the technical support of SMP and will be broadcast by Exstra Ciclismo\, airing the Thursday after the race on channel 17 at 9:00 PM.

DESCRIPTION:Performance by the duo Molom \nWith the organization of the Pietra e Scalpellini Association\, the duo Molom returns with a live performance of 30 minutes in which stone becomes a material for inscription\, both musically and physically tangible.  \n“Fragments of a matrix ready to explode\,” this is the title of the performance\, merges the art of sculpture and its gestures with real-time sound processing. The parallelism between fullness and emptiness highlights how sculpture\, the art of subtraction\, reveals hidden forms\, while sound manifests through the voids created. This dialogue between subtracting and adding creates a tension that invites reflection on the dichotomies absence/presence\, silence/noise. Molom’s performances are experiences that embrace the interconnection between visual arts and sound art\, creating a vibrant dialogue between two art forms that are part of the background of the two performers. \nThe event takes place at the former Cava di Rodei: starting from the Museum (where there is parking available)\, one goes up towards Podenzoi for about 1 km\, at the level of the schools\, with ample parking. Then another 500 m. (at the bridge level) the last parking (reserved for people with disabilities\, the elderly\, and mothers with children). DESCRIPTION:Mattmark disaster show \n  \nOn the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mattmark disaster\, an event that occurred on August 30\, 1965\, in Switzerland\, causing one of the most serious workplace tragedies involving Italian emigrants\, especially from the Belluno area\, The Bellunesi Association in The World aims to remember what happened through an immersive exhibition composed of photographs\, documents\, films\, and video interviews with survivors and family members of the victims. \nDuring the construction of the largest dam in Europe\, a massive chunk of ice from the Allalin glacier (about two million cubic meters) broke off and overwhelmed the workers’ accommodations\, causing 88 deaths\, of which 56 were Italians and 17 were from Belluno. The last body was found two years later. The warning signs had been ignored\, but in the trials of 1972\, all the defendants were acquitted\, and the victims’ families even had to pay half of the legal costs. A tragedy without justice that profoundly marked the collective memory of the area. \nAn exhibition to understand what happened from the voice of those who were there\, from the words of those who saw their lives change in that disaster. DESCRIPTION:The great summer event showcase returns\, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year \nThe Valmorel under the stars event is back\, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. \nThe event begins on Saturday\, July 5 at 5:00 PM with the inauguration of the exhibition and the awards for the photographic competition “Man and Mountain” dedicated to Loris De Barba\, at the Vejo center. \nFollowing that\, at 8:30 PM\, there will be a concert and the show “Call Me a Witch” with Voci di Passaggio and the fire dancers “Spirit Flame” at the sports field. \nOn the same weekend\, Saturday\, July 5 and Sunday\, July 6\, the 20th fractional football tournament 3rd memorial Billy Sommacal will take place along with wine tastings in the square. \nOn Saturday\, the 12th\, “30 years together under the stars”: \n\nAt 11:00 AM\, baroque music with maestro Giovanni Calò\nAt 12:30 PM\, tastings of Valmorel and Valpiana cheeses\, lunch with local products paired with wines from the Biasiotto agricultural company.
