The Caucasus mountain range\, the craters Rheticus\, Hipparchus\, Albategnius\, Werner\, Aliacensis\, Stoeffler\, Heraclitus\, Licetus\, and the Rimae Ariadaeus and Higynus will be clearly visible.

DESCRIPTION:It is advisable to bring a blanket\, a medium-weight jacket\, mosquito repellent\, sunscreen\, and a sun hat to use during pre-event moments and the concert. \nAttention: tents or gazebos for shade are not allowed\, but small umbrellas that can be closed at the beginning of the performance are permitted. \nIt’s time for the “Dolomiti Arena – Slow mountains music festival.”  \nThis summer\, the Valbelluna will treat you to four free concerts in its most beautiful panoramic terraces. This unmissable event will liven up the months of June\, July\, and August\, offering a unique musical experience to everyone who wishes to participate. \nThe event series\, funded by the tourist tax of the Unione Montana Feltrina\, the Large Events Fund\, and the Bordering Municipalities Fund provided by the Province of Belluno and the Veneto Region with the support of private sponsors\, aims to enhance our extraordinary mountainous territory through concerts in iconic locations of the Dolomites. But it’s not just about music: the festival aims to collaborate with local actors to offer a complete and engaging experience that goes far beyond the concert. \nThe fourth scheduled date will take place on August 30 at 5:00 PM at Forte Leone in Arsiè (BL) featuring  I PATAGARRI. \nTHE EVENT IS FREE AND NO RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. \nThe concert area will be accessible on foot only (no shuttle service is provided). Parking is located 500/700m to a maximum of 2km from the concert area. Arrival at the area is expected on foot along the main roads leading to Forte Leone.  \nFor those interested\, there is the possibility to have lunch at Malga Cima Campo with ample parking\, where you can also park your car during the concert\, at Rifugio Cima Campo and Malga Celado.  \nThe disabled parking spots will be available only and exclusively by reservation. DESCRIPTION:Performance by the duo Molom \nWith the organization of the Pietra e Scalpellini Association\, the duo Molom returns with a live performance of 30 minutes in which stone becomes a material for inscription\, both musically and physically tangible.  \n“Fragments of a matrix ready to explode\,” this is the title of the performance\, merges the art of sculpture and its gestures with real-time sound processing. The parallelism between fullness and emptiness highlights how sculpture\, the art of subtraction\, reveals hidden forms\, while sound manifests through the voids created. This dialogue between subtracting and adding creates a tension that invites reflection on the dichotomies absence/presence\, silence/noise. Molom’s performances are experiences that embrace the interconnection between visual arts and sound art\, creating a vibrant dialogue between two art forms that are part of the background of the two performers. \nThe event takes place at the former Cava di Rodei: starting from the Museum (where there is parking available)\, one goes up towards Podenzoi for about 1 km\, at the level of the schools\, with ample parking. Then another 500 m. (at the bridge level) the last parking (reserved for people with disabilities\, the elderly\, and mothers with children). DESCRIPTION:Mattmark disaster show \n  \nOn the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mattmark disaster\, an event that occurred on August 30\, 1965\, in Switzerland\, causing one of the most serious workplace tragedies involving Italian emigrants\, especially from the Belluno area\, The Bellunesi Association in The World aims to remember what happened through an immersive exhibition composed of photographs\, documents\, films\, and video interviews with survivors and family members of the victims. \nDuring the construction of the largest dam in Europe\, a massive chunk of ice from the Allalin glacier (about two million cubic meters) broke off and overwhelmed the workers’ accommodations\, causing 88 deaths\, of which 56 were Italians and 17 were from Belluno. The last body was found two years later. The warning signs had been ignored\, but in the trials of 1972\, all the defendants were acquitted\, and the victims’ families even had to pay half of the legal costs. A tragedy without justice that profoundly marked the collective memory of the area. \nAn exhibition to understand what happened from the voice of those who were there\, from the words of those who saw their lives change in that disaster.
