DESCRIPTION:The summer appointment with great music returns to Borgo Valbelluna. \nThe Concerts in the Village are back\, featuring young talents and established professionals aiming to promote music listening and the local area\, fully convinced that it is a tool for individual and collective growth\, a powerful cultural expression\, thanks to its emotional component. \n Organized by the municipal administration of Borgo Valbelluna in collaboration with the Zumellese Choir and the ITM social promotion association\, they will take place in various locations in Borgo Valbelluna. \n  It begins on Thursday\, August 7 with the winners of the City of Belluno Contest: Matteo Di Bella on piano\, Lara Caniato on harp\, Elena Barnaus on flute\, and Jacopo De Biasi on clarinet at the San Pietro Auditorium in Mel. \nWednesday\, August 13 is a special evening Under the Stars for stargazing and spatialized electronic music in the splendid setting of Zumelle Castle\, in collaboration with the Belluno Astrophile Group. \nMonday\, August 18\, a Clarinet Quartet will perform in the beautiful garden of Villa Alpago Novello in Frontin di Trichiana. Nicole Manarin\, Stefano De Marco\, Jacopo De Biasi\, and Daniel Creter will perform. In case of bad weather\, the performance will be held at the San Pietro Auditorium in Mel. \nFriday\, August 22\, the Rudemà will perform in concert at the Colderù square with their world music and dances ranging from French Balfolk to Irish Music. In case of bad weather\, the performance will be held at the San Pietro Auditorium in Mel. \nFriday\, August 29 sees the return of pianist Mosè Andrich with a tribute to Erik Satie in the courtyard of Villa Sophie in Sant’Antonio Tortal. In case of bad weather\, the show will be held in the San Felice Hall in Trichiana. \nFriday\, September 5 is the last appointment of the series with the show Operetta and Frou Frou featuring a string and wind ensemble\, Matteo Andri on piano\, and soprano Paola Crema\, in the courtyard of Palazzo Francescon in Mel. In case of bad weather\, the performance will be moved to the San Pietro Auditorium in Mel. \nAll concerts are free entry and start at 8:45 PM.

In a location that exudes sacredness and mystery\, 7 actors will guide the audience on a journey into Alchemy and perhaps into the psyche of man\, with intriguing stories shared for the first time.   The secrets narrated to the fortunate spectators are introduced by the Alchemist\, Messer Alexus Bortoluz\, who agrees to unveil mysteries that have so far remained covered by the shroud of forgetfulness.   Through shared monologues\, the spectators will be led into intimate and engaging moments; starting from their entrance into the house and continuing into the 4 rooms\, they will have the opportunity to witness a theatrical representation that gradually transforms into an inner narrative. All this in a growing whirlwind of confessions and “confidences\,” ultimately reaching the “revelation\,” the final participatory act\, of which each spectator will ultimately become a bearer of Alchemical knowledge.    \nCharacters:   Arria de Malolt\, woman\, mother\, spagirist\, her life is now dedicated to a single purpose\, Alchemical knowledge\, her main ally … will she ever succeed in her endeavor? DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of the Holy Year\, the parishes of Lamon\, Arina\, and San Donato invite all the faithful to participate in a special moment of prayer and communion\, with the opportunity to receive the jubilee indulgence. \nProgram of the evening: \n\n\n6:00 PM – Gathering at the Church of San Pietro. \n\n\n6:15 PM – Start of the small pilgrimage on foot towards the cathedral of Lamon\, in a spirit of prayer. Stops along the route: \n\n\nThe cemetery \n\n\nThe Lourdes grotto \n\n\nThe church of San Daniele \n\n\n\n\n6:45 PM – Arrival in front of the cathedral of Lamon. Opportunity for elderly people to join the other faithful to cross the Jubilee Door together and receive the jubilee indulgence. \n\n\n6:50 PM – Moment of prayer with the singing of the Litany of Saints. \n\n\n7:00 PM – Solemn entrance into the cathedral through the Jubilee Door (which will be opened from the main door for this occasion). The tempo\, the color\, and the reasoning of the heart. \nCristina Moggio is an artist from Borgo Valsugana\, a former student of Riccardo Schweizer\, who exhibited at the Fondaco delle Biade in 2000 and now returns to Feltre to present a synthesis of her most significant artistic production. \nThe artist does not settle for the canvas\, but rather engages in a creative recovery rich in meanings\, connecting the past with the present. DESCRIPTION:A different way to spend the August evenings! \n The review “A Week Without TV” organized by the Municipal Library of Sospirolo in collaboration with local associations is back. \nA program\, as usual\, rich with shows and reflective insights. It begins on Wednesday the 13th with the reading of Antonia Arslan’s book “It all began in Susin” together with Anonima Lettori srl\, directed by Cristina Gianni with musical interludes by Davide Brancaleone. \nOn Thursday the 14th\, the show “Up There in the Mountains\,” a brilliant monologue by and with Paola Brolati\, and on Friday the 15th\, the Figuriamoci review features puppet theater dedicated to the little ones. On Saturday the 16th\, there will be a presentation of the children’s book “The Man from Val Rosna” by Aldo Villabruna with readings by Chiara Villabruna. On Sunday the 17th\, the Zumellese Theatre Group will stage the dialect play 1×2 by Oscar Wulten\, while on Monday the 18th\, there will be an evening guided excursion following the trail of Marzia Nardei. \nOn Tuesday\, August 19th\, the 36th International Festival of Folk Dances will take place with the Compagnie de Danse Mackinaw from Quebec (Canada) and the Treviso Folk Group. To close\, on Wednesday\, August 20th\, there will be a concert under the stars by the Sintagma group accompanied by readings from the Las Plabras group. \nFree admission to all events until available seats are filled.
