DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 16\, at 4:00 PM\, at the civic center of Sospirolo\, there will be “Let It Be… Music“\, a concert by the students of Nena Trentin. \nOriginally from Orzes (Belluno)\, Daniela “Nena” Trentin started singing as a child with the church choir. At the age of 11\, she began studying singing with a lyrical approach at the Gioacchino Rossini Academy in Bellus. Her public debut happened at the Thursday evenings in Belluno. From there\, various collaborations began with different musicians at public festivities\, private events\, and piano bars.  \nToday\, Nena Trentin is the solo singer of the wonderful “Orchestra della Speranza\,” which offers concerts for charitable purposes. DESCRIPTION:Front conference held by two speakers who\, with the help of audio-visual means\, discuss the topic of Abstract Art. \nThe conference on November 19\, 2025 is titled Report  \nThis is the second of three conferences that will take place during the same year\, centered on the issue of languages in art. \nDuring this conference\, the speaker\, Prof. Michele Tison\, will present the results of the first lessons from the newly initiated painting course in Longarone. \nThe course is dedicated to teaching techniques\, presenting themes\, subjects\, and genres of abstract and informal painting. \nThe second topic involves providing future students\, as well as art enthusiasts and art history scholars\, with contributions and insights for awareness and understanding of the language adopted by artists of informal art. \nInformal art expressed itself in several trends\, mostly non-figurative\, which influenced subsequent developments in contemporary art from the 1960s to the present day. \nThe presentation by Professor Michele Tison will be preceded by a brief overview of the works of informal artists conducted in the neuro-sensory-perceptive-aesthetic projection by Dr. Renzo Barbazza. \nFor this reason\, an excerpt from the Atlas of the History of the Works of the Artists will be used. \nAt the end of the conference\, there will be ample space for questions from the audience and contributions made through their interventions. \nAdmission to the event is free and without reservation.

DESCRIPTION: Ugo Spezia\, nuclear engineer originally from Colmirano with a passion for the history of our areas: “The Locks of Quero and Feltre” is the title of the book and the evening\, with which we will go back in time to revisit the history of the Valley of the Piave between Quero and Feltre. Around the year 1000\, in fact\, the territory of Quero belonged to the bishop-count of Treviso and bordered the territory controlled by the bishop-count of Feltre.  \nGuarding the border between the two bishoprics\, on either side\, were two fortified systems: the Lock of Quero and the Lock of San Vittore. The Lock of Quero was made up of two bastions guarding the access to the Canal of the Piave\, at the point where it was easiest to control the passage on the road that connected Treviso to Feltre. \n The older of the two bastions\, called Bastia della Moschetta\, dominated the so-called montada of Quero\, while the second\, more recent\, was located at the summit of Monte Cornella.  \nThe Lock of San Vittore\, which stood in Anzù\, at the gates of Feltre\, was made up of three different fortifications. The first was a wall that included three towers and blocked the valley floor from the slopes of Monte Miesna to those of Monte Tomatico. \n The second was made up of the Castle of San Vittore\, while the third was a sort of redoubt that dominated and protected the Castle of San Vittore from a secondary prominence of Monte Miesna. The history of these two fortified systems has its roots in the Roman era and constitutes\, with some surprises\, a fundamental part of the history of Veneto from the 10th to the 16th century. \nGuest Ugo Spezia who will tell the historical notes on the fortifications of the “Canal del Piave”

This theme is the focus of the series of evenings titled “The Transformed Mountain“. \nMountains in Balance – Exploring the Mountains in the Era of Climate Change is the title of the first evening\, scheduled for Thursday\, November 20 (8:30 PM at the parish hall of Cavarzano\, free admission). Jacopo Gabrieli\, a researcher at the CNR Polar Sciences Center\, will discuss the effects of climate change on mountains\, also examining some precautions for safe engagement with the mountain environment. \nThis meeting opens a series of three events\, organized by the TAM and Cultural Nature Commissions.
