DESCRIPTION:The presentation\, preceded by a guided tour of the Fulcis Museum conducted by the Director Carlo Cavalli\, will illustrate the conservation path of the work  Tobit and the Angel Raphael  by Titian at the Madonna dell’Orto  in Venice\, highlighting the main challenges faced and the results achieved following the restoration. \nPainted around 1540 for the altar of the Angel Raphael in the Venetian church of San Marziale\, the altarpiece by Titian Tobit and the Angel Raphael is now housed in the church of Madonna dell’Orto. \nIn the summer of 2023\, the work underwent a diagnostic campaign and a maintenance intervention aimed at making its exhibition possible at the exhibition Titian 1508. \nAt the beginning of a bright career\, at the Gallerie dell’Accademia (September 9 – December 3). \nIt was subsequently subjected to a careful restoration conducted by Enrica Colombini and funded by Save Venice thanks to the contribution of Donna Malin\, to finally be relocated to its current location at Madonna dell’Orto. \nGabriele Matino is a senior researcher at Save Venice\, specialized in art history and curator of exhibitions and publications on artists such as Tintoretto\, Carpaccio\, and Titian. \nHe also collaborates with international experts on restoration projects and artistic studies. \nMelissa Conn is the director of the Venice office of Save Venice\, with over 30 years of experience in the restoration and preservation of Venetian art. \nShe is heavily involved in conservation projects and gives lectures both in Italy and in the United States. \nEnrica Colombini is an expert restorer\, teacher\, and head of a restoration company\, having worked on works by artists such as Titian\, Giulia Lama\, and others\, focusing on paintings and sculptures of great value. \nElena Galante is a restorer specialized in mural paintings\, canvas and wooden artifacts\, collaborating with important museums and institutions such as Ca’ Rezzonico\, Museo Correr\, and Save Venice\, and has worked on works by artists such as Tiepolo and Giulia Lama. \nAll these figures are committed to the protection and enhancement of Venetian and international artistic heritage. \nFor information: centrostudi@tizianovecellio.it \nReservation is required at: 0437 913323 – prenotazionimuseo@comune.belluno.it. \nThe presentation\, preceded by a guided tour of the Fulcis Museum conducted by the Director Carlo Cavalli\, will illustrate the conservation journey of the work *Tobias and the Angel Raphael* by Titian at the Madonna dell’Orto in Venice\, highlighting the main challenges faced and the results achieved following the restoration. \nParticular attention will be given to the diagnostic investigations\, with a focus on the changes found in the underlying drawing beneath the paint layer and their implications for the historical-artistic interpretation of the painting\, its iconography\, and its devotional functions.

DESCRIPTION:Tradition\, sport\, community \nIn the heart of summer\, from Friday\, August 8 to Sunday\, August 10\, 2025\, the district of Villaga di Feltre hosts the traditional San Fermo Festival\, a popular celebration that brings together sports\, gastronomy\, and entertainment for both adults and children\, set against the beautiful pre-Alpine backdrop. \nThe weekend opens on Friday evening with a traditional dinner featuring polenta and grilled sardines\, accompanied by a drawing exhibition on the theme “A Planet to Save”\, with submissions due by 6:00 PM at Bar Giusti. \nSaturday\, August 9 is dedicated to movement and outdoor sports\, thanks to the tenth edition of the Villaga Trail – Corsa del Gal. At 5:30 PM\, the Corsa del Pulcino takes off\, a one-kilometer obstacle race for children under 12. Following that\, at 6:00 PM\, the main race will start: a competitive event of 9 kilometers for adults and 4 kilometers for youths under 14\, along with a fun walk open to everyone on a 4 or 9-kilometer route. The day will end with a festive traditional dinner featuring spit-roasted meats and the “Miss Cake” contest\, which will reward the best homemade cakes\, submitted by 6:00 PM at the former school. \nOn Sunday\, August 10\, the program resumes in the morning with a mixed 4×4 green volleyball tournament\, followed by the Holy Mass at 10:30 AM in the Church of San Fermo. The afternoon comes to life with an aperitif by the field and\, starting at 7:30 PM\, the final dinner featuring goulash. The awards for the competitions and the San Fermo lottery drawing will conclude the event in the late evening. \nThroughout the festival\, there will be a kiosk serving drinks\, local specialties\, and a menu dedicated to children. In case of bad weather\, events will take place under the covered pavilion. \nOrganized by Enal Sport Villaga A.S.D.\, with the patronage of the Municipality of Feltre and the support of numerous sponsors and local associations\, the San Fermo Festival is a special occasion to experience a weekend filled with nature\, tradition\, and community.
