DESCRIPTION:Spring-summer program 2025 in the Val di Seren del Grappa. \nThroughout the spring and until the end of summer\, the program offers a mix of unique events that involve people of all ages\, with activities ranging from nature to gastronomy and local traditions. \nFor the little ones\, there are activities dedicated to discovering biodiversity. You can visit the exhibits in the barn where art meets spring. The walks to discover the Seren valley offer the opportunity to explore unspoiled landscapes\, while the visit to Tane Muse farm allows for a connection with agricultural life. For those who love gastronomy and traditional cooking\, there is a peasant cooking workshop\, a project titled “The tomato and its siblings\,” and an activity on herbal preparations. Additionally\, you can enjoy an aperitif in good company through “aperistalla.” Other activities for nature lovers include: San Giovanni under the walnut tree\, forest bathing in the Montesort chestnut grove\, and haymaking. The “open farms” allow for the discovery of the work of local realities. For those who wish to experiment with manual skills\, a soap-making course is also offered. \nIn the coming weeks\, individual posters for each event will follow.

SUMMARY:Belluno photo festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:Photography festival of the city of Belluno with images from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne and the Italian Paralympic Committee. \nThe third edition of the Belluno photo festival will present a selection of images from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne and the Italian Paralympic Committee.  \nThey represent the previous Games\, speak of sports values\, sporting emotions\, and respect for others with a message of peace and unity between peoples.  \nThe squares of the city will transform into an open-air museum where sports\, for the first time in our project\, will be the absolute protagonist.  \nThe Belluno Photo Festival is the fourth exhibition organized in Veneto by the association that promotes the event with the Municipality of Belluno and in collaboration with the Leonardo Da Vinci High School in Belluno\, which created the graphics.  \nThe five interlinked rings of the Olympic logo represent the union of the five continents\, while the five associated colors are blue\, yellow\, black\, green\, and red.  \nThe Paralympic sport is represented by the three “agitos” in red\, blue\, and green\, arranged in a circular pattern on a white background. The colors were chosen because they are the most used in the flags of the world\, while the logo represents the body\, mind\, and spirit of athletes with disabilities.  \nTwo of these\, blue and yellow\, also represent the flag of the city of Belluno\, a shining city that rises on a promontory near the confluence of the Piave and Ardo rivers. Behind it\, the stunning Dolomites frame this territory.  \nAnd just as blue is present in both the Olympic and Paralympic emblems\, almost representing two worlds coming together in sport\, Belluno becomes the meeting point between the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games.

DESCRIPTION:Conference by Benedetta Fanciulli \nOn Wednesday\, May 14\, the conference “Piero della Francesca” by Benedetta Fanciulli will be held\, organized by the Friends of the Belluno Museum Association\, at the Bianchi Hall. \nThe “rarefied and monumental” space of Piero’s painting\, the impassive rationality of the figures that appear within it\, touches one of the highest peaks of early Renaissance painting and constitutes an essential lesson for its subsequent developments.The surviving fragments of his Augustine Polyptych\, painted for the Church of the Augustinians in Borgo San Sepolcro\, coming from various museums and exhibited for the first time after years at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan in 2024\, have garnered media attention as well as admiration from thousands of visitors.But the richest and most significant pictorial treasure of Piero della Francesca is the frescoes of “The Legend of the True Cross” in the Bacci Chapel in the Basilica of San Francesco in Arezzo\, frescoes in which\, starting from the origin tree of the cross\, he gives life not only to the most significant episodes of its genesis but also to the main historical events related to the role of the cross itself up to the year 628\, when the “wood” that was stolen was returned to Jerusalem. \nFree entrance until seats are filled.

DESCRIPTION:Conference by Benedetta Fanciulli \nOn Wednesday\, May 14\, the conference “Piero della Francesca” by Benedetta Fanciulli will be held\, organized by the Friends of the Belluno Museum Association\, at the Bianchi Hall. \nThe “rarefied and monumental” space of Piero’s painting\, the impassive rationality of the figures that appear within it\, touches one of the highest peaks of early Renaissance painting and constitutes an essential lesson for its subsequent developments.The surviving fragments of his Augustine Polyptych\, painted for the Church of the Augustinians in Borgo San Sepolcro\, coming from various museums and exhibited for the first time after years at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan in 2024\, have garnered media attention as well as admiration from thousands of visitors.But the richest and most significant pictorial treasure of Piero della Francesca is the frescoes of “The Legend of the True Cross” in the Bacci Chapel in the Basilica of San Francesco in Arezzo\, frescoes in which\, starting from the origin tree of the cross\, he gives life not only to the most significant episodes of its genesis but also to the main historical events related to the role of the cross itself up to the year 628\, when the “wood” that was stolen was returned to Jerusalem. \nFree entrance until seats are filled.
