SUMMARY:Palio di Feltre
DESCRIPTION:The historical reenactment of the delivery of Feltre to Venice \nIn order to remember and celebrate the donation of Feltre to Venice\, a public decree established that in the following years\, on 15 August\, a procession of all the orders of the city would take place and a Palio of 15 gold ducats would be run.  \n  The Palio that has been held in Feltre since 1979 every first Sunday in August is meant to commemorate this very event. The palio is transformed into a leap back in time that recreates the 15th-century atmosphere thanks to the marvellous choreography studied down to the smallest detail\, the result of scrupulous philological reconstruction.  \n  The pomp and circumstance of the costumes of the procession of nobles and ladies that\, on Sunday morning\, leads from the 16th-century imperial gate along Largo Castaldi to the cathedral forecourt to attend the Holy Mass and in the afternoon along Via Mezzaterra and Piazza Maggiore to the final competitions until the proclamation of the winning quarter.  \n  The city’s four quarters compete in the Prà del Moro arena in the tug-of-war and horse race\, earning valuable points that\, added to those obtained in the relay race and archery\, will determine the new holder of the fifteen-ducat banner.  \n  The celebrations begin on Friday with the dinners of the quarters that bring together hundreds of contradaioli who have come to support their quarter.

Saturday\, August 2\, is an evening dedicated to the 2000s with special guest Carolina Marquez\, and the dish of the day is wild boar with polenta. The following days continue with Nordic walking and orienteering on Sunday the 3rd\, baby dance\, and “Family Circus” for an evening of magic and laughter. \nAnd still\, tasting of Belluno wines\, the “three kicks in the mountains” tournament\, tribute to the Pooh\, a hairstyle parade\, Vasco Tribute Band\, Radio Wow\, Green Volley tournament\, the Melerissima\, Street Basketball tournament\, Zelig comedians\, the tournament for the little ones “first kicks in the mountains\,” Victoria – Queen Tribute Band\, guided tasting “The cheeses of the Borgo\,” and the Ciclopedonata delle Ombre for 15 days full of fun.

DESCRIPTION:The historical reenactment of the delivery of Feltre to Venice \nIn order to remember and celebrate the donation of Feltre to Venice\, a public decree established that in the following years\, on 15 August\, a procession of all the orders of the city would take place and a Palio of 15 gold ducats would be run.  \n  The Palio that has been held in Feltre since 1979 every first Sunday in August is meant to commemorate this very event. The palio is transformed into a leap back in time that recreates the 15th-century atmosphere thanks to the marvellous choreography studied down to the smallest detail\, the result of scrupulous philological reconstruction.  \n  The pomp and circumstance of the costumes of the procession of nobles and ladies that\, on Sunday morning\, leads from the 16th-century imperial gate along Largo Castaldi to the cathedral forecourt to attend the Holy Mass and in the afternoon along Via Mezzaterra and Piazza Maggiore to the final competitions until the proclamation of the winning quarter.  \n  The city’s four quarters compete in the Prà del Moro arena in the tug-of-war and horse race\, earning valuable points that\, added to those obtained in the relay race and archery\, will determine the new holder of the fifteen-ducat banner.  \n  The celebrations begin on Friday with the dinners of the quarters that bring together hundreds of contradaioli who have come to support their quarter.

DESCRIPTION:The Valmorel under the stars festival returns\, celebrating 30 years of activity this year. \nThe festival kicks off on Saturday\, July 5 with the inauguration of the exhibition at 5:00 PM and the awards ceremony for the photography competition “Man and Mountain” dedicated to Loris De Barba\, at the Vejo center. \nFollowing that\, at 8:30 PM\, there will be a concert performance “Call Me a Witch” with Voci di Passaggio and the fire dancers “Spirit Flame” at the sports field. \nDuring the same weekend\, Saturday\, July 5 and Sunday\, July 6\, the 20th neighborhood football tournament memorial for Billy Sommacal will take place\, with a rustic frasca set up in the square for tastings. \nOn Saturday\, the 12th\, “30 years together under the stars”: \n\nAt 11:00 AM baroque music with maestro Giovanni Calò\nAt 12:30 PM tastings of Valmorel and Valpiana cheeses\, lunch featuring local products paired with wines from the Biasiotto agricultural company. Event by reservation at the number 342 7450248\nAt 3:30 PM folk music and popular dances with Vaganto\nAt 5:30 PM singer-songwriters\, soloists\, and students from the Unison music center\nAt 7:30 PM Zaninotto\, Trabucco\, Rinaldi from OrganTrio\nAt 9:00 PM Jam Session with the organization of Belluno Jazz\n\nOn Sunday the 13th\, it’s time for Magnalonga with an exhibition of agricultural products and local crafts\, and the frasca open. \nOn Saturday the 20th\, there will be a repeat of the Magnalonga at night. \nOn Friday\, July 18 at 8:30 PM at the Vejo Cultural Center\, “Mother Mountain” features readings and reflections on the feminine soul of the mountain with Antonio Bortoluzzi and Voci di Passaggio. \nOn Friday\, August 22 at 6:00 PM at the Vejo Cultural Center\, “On the Alps: a sentimental journey” is a meeting with author Daniele Zovi and readings by Voci di Passaggio. \nOn Friday the 29th at the scenic Malga Van at 5:30 PM\, there will be a free workshop for children; at 6:45 PM\, a debate “Territories in comparison: why we need more malghe” with Carlo Murer and Mirco D’Incà. At 7:00 PM\, enjoy Malga Van’s cuisine followed by a screening of the film competing at the Bio Film Festival. \nOn Sunday the 31st in the church at Valmorel at 6:00 PM\, there will be a piano recital with maestro Gregory Goureschidze. \nOn Friday\, September 5 and Friday\, September 20\, the theatrical performances “The Magic of the Mask” by Michela Virago and “Falli-Mentis” by Irene Van Dijken will take place. \nAll evenings are by free donation. \nThe great summer event showcase returns\, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year
