Between Two Worlds\, a Story. that will take place on Friday\, July 25\, 2025 at 8:45 PM in the conference room of the Ethnographic Museum Dolomites. \n \nSCREENING OF THE DOCU-FILM “ITALIAN LEGACY” BY MÁRCIA MONTEIRO \n \n“Italian Legacy” by Márcia Monteiro is a documentary that tells the story\, present\, and future of Trentino and Venetian emigration in the southern mountainous region of Serra Gaúcha in Brazil through the voices of the Italian-Brazilian communities of Rio Grande do Sul\, focusing on linguistic\, cultural influences\, and those related to a typically Italian product: wine. \nThe docu-film won the Rai Award at the 69th Trento Film Festival with the following motivation: «the film is a white glove on one side and black on the reverse. The first portrays generations of lumberjacks and farmers who deforested and cultivated the forests\, growing vines and producing the wine that is now the pride of Brazil. Their legacy is both a product and a message. The other side tells the story of people who suffered abuse\, at home and abroad\, crossing the Atlantic in search of a better future. The film narrates stories of courage and success but also of exploitation and is very relevant today: it is enough\, in fact\, to change the color of one’s skin\, to cross the Mediterranean Sea instead of the Atlantic Ocean\, to find similar stories\, whose legacy will certainly be with us in the near future. Rich in significant testimonies\, the film ends with a thread of regret for the choice of many young people to leave the countryside for the cities. An opportunity to appreciate history\, beautiful images\, interviews\, and\, above all\, to “reflect”».

DESCRIPTION:Building in Venice. The characteristics of lagoon constructions \nThe presentation will illustrate some salient features of Venetian construction art: the materials\, techniques\, construction procedures\, the devices and executive expedients applied by the workers in the erection of the lagoon structures will be related to the distributive and formal aspects of the buildings\, highlighting the interdependent relationships between the construction data\, functional organization\, and the architecture language.  \nMARIO PIANA\, graduated in 1974 from the University Institute of Architecture in Venice\, worked as an architect at the Superintendency for the B.A.A. of Venice from 1979 to 1998\, serving as Acting Superintendent in 1981-82.  \nAs a UNESCO consultant in 1990 and 1994\, he assisted local teams engaged in the restoration of several churches in Quito (Ecuador) damaged by an earthquake\, and in 1996\, he collaborated on the drafting of the structural consolidation project for the fortress of San Juan de Ulùa in Veracruz (Mexico).  \nA teacher of Architectural Restoration from 1998 to 2022 at the IUAV University of Venice\, he was Director of the first three years of the specialization school in architectural and landscape heritage. Since 2010\, he has been part of the faculty board of the PhD in architectural history.  \nAuthor of numerous publications dedicated to restoration themes and the history of lagoon construction techniques\, he has been a member of the Scientific Council of CISA since 2004 and a member of the Veneto Institute of Sciences\, Letters\, and Arts since 2018. He is currently the proto of St. Mark’s Basilica.  \nHe has designed and directed numerous restoration projects; among them\, the Grimani Palace at S. M. Formosa\, the Contarini del Bovolo staircase\, the castle of Rovigo\, the Gaggiandre of the Arsenal\, the Peristyle\, the Tablino\, and the Ovate Staircase of the Convent of Charity\, the cathedral of Torcello\, the basilicas of Frari and Salute\, and the churches of S. Giorgio Maggiore and S. M. dei Miracoli.  \nHe is the author of over a hundred publications dedicated to restoration themes and the history of construction techniques.  \nMELISSA CONN is the director of the Venice office of Save Venice and has been working for the organization since 1989. With 36 years of experience in Venetian art history and restoration\, Melissa oversees all of the organization’s conservation projects in Venice and is responsible for Save Venice’s conservation pathway “Women Artists of Venice.”  \nConn regularly gives lectures in Italy and the United States on Save Venice projects. Pieve d’Alpago is located at the foot of Monte Dolada (1938 m) and has been an important center since ancient times\, both from a religious perspective\, with the main church of Santa Maria del Rosario\, and a civil one; there are many characteristic fractions and hamlets including Curago\, Plois\, Quers\, Torres\, Tignès\, Garna\, Rorei\, Schiucaz\, Villa\, and Paludi.  \n Throughout the festival\, the entire village transforms into a place rich in events\, local culinary specialties\, children’s shows\, and charitable initiatives. DESCRIPTION:Edition 2025 for the Sagra dei Per in Sedico! \nFrom July 18 to 27\, the legendary Sagra dei Per returns to Bribano di Sedico\, and as usual\, there are numerous events for everyone’s tastes. \nRestaurants serving typical dishes are open on Fridays from 7:30 PM\, on Saturdays from 7:00 PM\, and on Sundays at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. \nAnd then there’s music and dancing! It starts with a western evening featuring Gloriday Country and Max & Mauro with an exceptional tribute band\, welcome Radio 88.3. We’ll continue dancing on the dance floor with Liscio Spritz and an evening of house & Latino electro music with Dottor PI Titta Dany. To conclude the first weekend\, there will be an aperitif with DJ Mema and a Caribbean Stage evening followed by DJ Eros\, and directly from Barcelona\, Flessicosta will take to the console in Bribano. \nThe second weekend will kick off with a Latin evening featuring Musty & Elisa and Ballo senza Confini with guest DJ El Steve “Fiestamania” and a pole dance interlude\, not to mention Giovani Wannabe\, a tribute to Pinguini Tattici Nucleari. The following day\, the festivities continue with an aperitif by DJ Baldi and DJ Caste\, followed by the evening with Orchestra La Tua Idea and DJ Micol Azzurro accompanied by dancers Francesco Anastasi and Ivo Sartori. Finally\, there will be an aperitif with DJ Benji and a concluding evening with About The Night – Italian pop tribute band. \nFor the little ones\, there will also be Strilly and Marmellata and aerial performances with Liberamente Circo. On Tuesday\, July 15 at 6:30 PM\, there will be the inauguration of a photographic exhibition and projects on the centenary history of the Bribano Kindergarten\, now “Don Modesto Sorio” Preschool\, titled “1925-2025 – One Hundred Years for Children.” The exhibition will be open from July 15 to 27. \nThroughout the afternoon and evening of Sunday\, July 27\, there will be an exhibition of collectible items\, antiques\, and solidarity along the streets of Bribano. \nDuring the entire festival\, the traditional charity raffle will be set up\, the proceeds of which will finance the educational activities of the accredited “Don Modesto Sorio” Preschool. \nAnd it doesn’t stop there! There will also be the Kuno Volley under 13 tournament\, its 29th edition\, and the “dei Per” football tournament. On Thursday\, July 24\, at 8:30 PM\, the first embrace of the Province of Dolomiti Bellunesi – Serie C – will take place\, with a party by Cirillo and a surprise guest! \nAnd on Friday the 25th\, there will be celebrations for the Patron Saint with a Holy Mass and a concert by the Municipal Musical Corps in Piazza S. Giacomo. \nAll the main shows take place indoors and are free entrance!

DESCRIPTION:Music\, drinks\, and performances with the traditional Sagra di Sant’Anna in Pieve d’Alpago. \nThe Sagra di Sant’Anna is one of the main village festivals in the municipality of Alpago and takes place every year in Pieve in the town center. Pieve d’Alpago is located at the foot of Monte Dolada (1938 m) and has been an important center since ancient times\, both from a religious perspective\, with the main church of Santa Maria del Rosario\, and a civil one; there are many characteristic fractions and hamlets including Curago\, Plois\, Quers\, Torres\, Tignès\, Garna\, Rorei\, Schiucaz\, Villa\, and Paludi.  \n Throughout the festival\, the entire village transforms into a place rich in events\, local culinary specialties\, children’s shows\, and charitable initiatives. On the occasion of the event\, the kitchen offers a wide selection of culinary specialties to satisfy all tastes\, such as creamed cod\, spit-roasted meats\, sandwiches with pastin\, and grilled cheese.
