DESCRIPTION:It is recommended to bring a blanket\, a medium-weight jacket\, insect repellent\, sunscreen\, and a sun hat to use before and during the concert. \nAnother small tip: being at about 1400 meters above sea level\, the weather can be unpredictable. It is essential to also bring sweatshirts or windbreakers: temperatures can drop rapidly\, even in summer! \nAttention: tents or gazebos for shade are not allowed\, but you can bring small umbrellas that must be closed at the start of the performance. \n For more information on access methods and parking\, you can consult the map at the following link. \nThe time for the “Dolomiti Arena – Slow Mountains Music Festival” has arrived! \nThis summer\, Valbelluna will offer you four free concerts in its most beautiful panoramic terraces. This unmissable event will liven up the months of June\, July\, and August\, providing a unique musical experience for all who wish to participate. \nThe series of events\, made possible by the tourist tax funds of the Unione Montana Feltrina and the Border Funds\, aims to enhance our extraordinary mountain territory through concerts in iconic locations of the Dolomites. But it’s not just about music: the festival seeks to collaborate with local actors to offer a complete and engaging experience that goes far beyond the concert. \nThe second date scheduled will take place on July 19 at 5:00 PM at the Campet location on Monte Avena\, nestled between three Belluno municipalities: Pedavena\, Fonzaso\, and Sovramonte\, more precisely near Malga Campet\, featuring  MALIKA AYANE. \nTHE EVENT IS FREE\, AND NO RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. \nThe concert area will be accessible exclusively on foot (no shuttle service will be provided). \nAccess to the parking lots and the concert area is ONLY possible from the junction of Col Melon with SS. 473 (Pedavena – Croce d’Aune)\, heading towards Monte Avena\, in one-way uphill traffic. Therefore\, it is NOT possible to reach the Campet location from Passo Croce d’Aune. \nThe parking areas will be located at the Chalet “Alle Buse\,” which is about 1 km from the concert area\, and subsequently along the roadside towards Croce d’Aune\, with a distance of 2 to 3 km from the area. \nFor those parking at the Chalet “Alle Buse\,” there is the option to walk along the path leading directly to Malga Campet\, approximately 1 km long with a height difference of about 200m. For those parking along the roadside towards Croce d’Aune\, they can walk along the municipal road leading from Agriturismo “Casera dei Boschi” to the malghive areas of Campet and Campon\, with a length varying from 2 to 3 km (depending on where parking is available)\, and always with a height difference of 200m. \nPlease follow and respect the instructions of the staff on site. Furthermore\, it is advisable to consider the timing related to possible traffic and the distance to be walked to reach the concert area before the start time. Therefore\, for safety reasons\, it is recommended to be present in the concert area by 4:30 PM. \nThe disabled parking\, on the other hand\, will be available only and exclusively by reservation. Limited spots. A mail must be sent with the name\, disability badge details\, and vehicle registration number to dolomitiarena22@gmail.com. Reservations for disabled parking will close on Friday\, July 18\, 2025\, at 12:00 PM or until spots are filled. \nMountain clothing is highly recommended\, and smoking is strictly prohibited in the concert area and the introduction of glass bottles. Outdoor ashtrays will also be provided on site\, which we encourage you to request in order not to disperse cigarette butts in the ground for greater respect for the environment. \nFor those accompanied by a four-legged friend\, it is recommended to use a leash and position themselves in the lateral area of the concert. \nFor those who want to reach the concert area by bicycle\, there will be a designated bike parking area. \nFinally\, nearby\, you can find several refreshment points such as Malga Campet\, Agriturismo “Casera dei Boschi\,” Chalet “Alle Buse\,” and towards Passo Croce d’Aune\, then\, the Ristorante Croce d’Aune and the Ristorante “Al Camoscio.” \nIn case of bad weather\, the concert will be canceled. \nFree concerts between the Dolomites and the Prealps

DESCRIPTION:In case of bad weather Auditorium Church of San Pietro\, Mel  \n  There are eight stories finalists in the 35th edition of the Trichiana Paese del Libro Literary Prize that will now pass into the hands of the jury\, led by writer Marco Balzano\, who will determine the final ranking.  \nThe festival associated with the Prize expands this year with a series of proposals for children and their families.  \nIt starts on Friday\, July 11 at 8:30 PM at the Barchessa of the Palazzo delle Contesse in Mel (Auditorium of San Piero in case of bad weather) with the puppet show The Strange Lunch of Hansel and Gretel\, a sparkling version of the famous fairy tale\, told through puppets and animated dolls by the company “La casa degli Gnomi.”  \nFollowing this\, on Friday\, July 18 at 8:30 PM in Piazzetta Saubens in Trichiana (Cinema San Felice in case of bad weather)\, the show Captains to the Boarding will be presented\, a narrated and animated performance that dives into ancient stories inhabited by deities and sea monsters\, wrecks\, storms\, and mysteries.  \nThis year the Festival will also host a preliminary stage leading to the ninth Reading Marathon Il Veneto legge\, which takes place every year at the beginning of October. Indeed\, on Sunday\, July 13 at 5:00 PM there will be a silent reading party followed by readings organized by the group Leggere per leggere and a brief convivial moment immersed in the beauty of the Prelapi. The stage involves a slow approach on foot to then gather in a suggestive place for reading.  \nFor comic book lovers\, on Saturday\, July 19 at 6:00 PM in Piazzetta Saubens (Cinema San Felice in case of bad weather)\, there will be a meeting with Francesco Matteuzzi\, author\, together with Luca Debus\, of the comic biography of Charles M. Schulz titled Funny Things.  \nOn Monday\, July 21 at 8:30 PM at the garden of Villa Francescon\, Auditorium of San Piero in case of bad weather\, Senator Elena Cattaneo will be a guest with her book Scientists. Stories of Life and Research. The evening will be held with the support of Raffaello Cortina Editore.  \nOn Tuesday\, July 22 at 8:30 PM at the garden of the Palazzo Nuovo Oratorio in Lentiai (indoors in case of rain)\, there will be a meeting with the writer Maria Grazia Calandrone\, author of works including Where You Didn’t Take Me and Magnificent and Terrible Was Love. The evening is organized in collaboration with the Belluno Donna Association.  \nOn Friday\, July 25 at the garden of Villa Piloni in Carfagnoi\, Trichiana (Sala San Felice in case of rain)\, Marco Balzano\, award-winning writer of the Campiello Prize and candidate for the Strega Prize\, will present his latest novel Child in which the author recovers the great civil theme of the memory and identity of a civilization marked by the horrors of war\, through a complex character that presents a thousand facets.  \nOn Saturday\, July 26 at 6:00 PM at the garden of Villa Piloni in Carfagnoi (Sala San Felice in case of bad weather)\, the awards ceremony for the 35th edition of the National Literary Prize Trichiana Paese del Libro will take place. Competitors must transition seamlessly from one segment to another\, demonstrating excellent physical abilities such as strength and endurance\, as well as good coordination skills\, needing to express completely different sports gestures during their effort\, such as swimming\, cycling\, and running. Located in the Alpago area between Farra d’Alpago\, Puos d’Alpago\, and Ponte nelle Alpi\, at the border with the province of Treviso\, it is a body of water that reflects the mountains of Alpago and Nevegal on its crystal-clear surface.

DESCRIPTION:Sunday program July 20:2:30 PM guided tour of the museum and the Cimbrian village \nOpening hours:from June 1 to September 30: Thursday and Friday 2-6 PM // Saturday\, Sunday\, and public holidays 10 AM-12:30 PM and 2-6 PMOpen all year round for groups on request. \nThe Cansiglio is a pre-Alpine plateau located between the provinces of Belluno\, Treviso\, and Pordenone. With its characteristic basin shape\, it is a true paradise for hiking due to its forest\, which is the second largest in Italy by area. In this territory\, there is a Cimbrian ethnic settlement dating back to the early 1800s.Of German origin\, this population comes from Roana\, one of the seven municipalities of the Vicentine plateau\, which settled here due to the rich beech forests\, a plant species suitable for artisanal work.Currently\, the villages of Campon and Pian Osteria are inhabited by the Cimbri\, while traces of some typical constructions remain in Le Rotte\, Vallorch\, I Pich\, Pian Canaie\, Canaie\, Pian dei Lovi\, and Valbona. The historic building of Pian Osteria houses the ethnographic museum and Cimbrian culture; it is open every day from June 15 to September 15 and can be visited by reservation in other periods of the year. Among the sections\, the first is dedicated to woodworking; the second is dedicated to the artisanal activities of the Cimbri; the third is dedicated to the library and the screening of videos about Cansiglio and Cimbrian culture\, its history\, and its legends.
