DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the 60th anniversary of their founding (1965-2025)\, the Polyphonic Choir CTG of Belluno has created a rich program of concerts in the municipality of Belluno and outside the province. \nIt begins on Saturday April 12\, at 8:00 PM with a concert for the Jubilee “Per crucem ad lucem” at the Church of San Rocco. Guest choirs will be the Trentino Philharmonic Choir conducted by Sandro Filippi and the CTG Polyphonic Choir conducted by Stefano Da Ros. \nContinuing on Saturday May 17\, at 5:00 PM\, at Palazzo Crepadona\, there will be a conference moderated by Elena Filini titled “Msgr. Sergio Manfroi: the man\, the priest\, the musician\, the educator“. \nThe concert that will open their summer season will take place on Saturday June 14\, at 8:45 PM at the Cathedral of Belluno. The “Symphonic-Choral Concert” will be presided over by the Veneto Regional Philharmonic Orchestra\, the Tetracordo Academy\, and the CTG Polyphonic Choir\, conducted by Stefano Da Ros and Mariagrazia Marcon. \nFollowing that\, on Friday July 4\, at 8:45 PM at the Church of San Giovanni Bosco\, there will be a concert by the “Melodi” Choir from Athens (Greece). \nFinally\, the last dates are already known: on Sunday November 9 at 5:00 PM at the Church of San Pietro\, there will be Holy Mass and Te Deum by Lorenzo Perosi\, while on Sunday December 7 at 5:00 PM at the Church of San Giovanni Bosco\, there will be the Advent Concert. \nThe review in honor of the choir’s 60th anniversary will conclude on Monday December 29 at the Cathedral of Feltre\, at 8:30 PM\, with the Christmas Concert. \nConcerts and conferences

DESCRIPTION:Borgo Piave ETC aps\, along with the musical association “A. Miari” led by Stefano Emmi and Maria Grazia Feltre\, presents the musical tale titled “Diary of a Boy from ’99\,” an emotional and touching reading of an imaginary diary written by a “boy from ’99\,” recounting the life of this Italian straddling the two wars who later emigrates abroad in search of work. \nThe tale is interspersed with songs from the Alpine tradition performed with guitar and voice. \nThe text was written by Daniela Emmi\, the narrating voice belongs to Stefano Emmi (tenor)\, and guitar accompaniment is provided by Prof. Maria Grazia Feltre (mezzo-soprano); both will also perform the songs. \nThe chosen location for the event is the Sala Zanardelli of the Prefettura di Belluno. \nSpaces are limited\, and reservations are required at segreteria@borgopiaveetc.it or via WhatsApp at +39 351 3785750. \nBorgo Piave ETC aps\, together with the musical association “A. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 9\, at 5 PM\, the “Dino Buzzati” Municipal Theater in Belluno will host The Band Goes Off for Unicef\, a musical show organized by the provincial Unicef Committee on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and Adolescence\, signed on November 20\, 1989. \nThe show features the collaboration between the “Don” Company of Longarone and the “Rainbow Choir” of Limana. The actors\, a diverse group of people aged between 3 and 67\, will perform\, showcasing their talents\, and finding a way to be together\, understand each other\, and love one another despite differences. In a joyful festive atmosphere\, thanks to the Rainbow Choir of Limana\, which will present songs from the Antoniano of Bologna\, seven of the most popular songs from Zecchino d’Oro will address very current themes such as environmental crisis\, bullying\, dyslexia\, the value of diversity\, and the courage to be oneself. DESCRIPTION:A conference on pagan ritual masks by anthropologist Dr. Cesare Poppi. \nIn the inner courtyard of Palazzo Crepadona\, anthropologist Dr. Cesare Poppi will lead guests on a journey through the pagan ritual masks that for millennia have heralded and propitiated the arrival of spring in both the Dolomite valleys and the Sardinian hinterland.  \nCesare Poppi was born in 1953 in Bologna. He graduated in Philosophy with Bernardo Bernardi and then earned a Master’s and PhD in Social Anthropology from Cambridge (UK) with Sir Jack Goody.  \nHe has conducted research among the Ladin people of Fassa since 1974 and on the secret mask societies in northern Ghana since 1984.  \nFrom 1988 to 2003\, he was Deputy Director of the Sainsbury Research Unit for the Arts of Africa\, Oceania\, and the Americas in Norwich\, UK. He has taught at the Universities of East Anglia (Norwich\, UK)\, Malta\, Bologna\, and Trento.  \nHe has been a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Seattle and Austin (USA) and Buea (Cameroon).  \nHe has taught courses in anthropology at the SUPSI University of Lugano\, the UNISG University of Pollenzo (Turin)\, Bozen/Bolzano\, and Udine.  \nHe has collaborated on the production of ethnographic documentaries for RAI 3 and SKY. He was a Scientific Advisor for the EU Research Program ‘Carnival King of Europe’. Renato Marangoni\, at the Cathedral Basilica at 10:00 AM\, and at 6:30 PM\, the conclusion of the religious part with the Hymn of the Second Solemn Vespers. \nThe civil ceremony will come alive at 11:30 AM at Palazzo Crepadona\, with the presentation of the San Martino Prize\, established in 1972\, to recognize and award those who have distinguished themselves through concrete works and actions in the fields of science\, literature\, arts\, music\, productive activities\, labor\, education\, sports\, the environment\, as well as through social\, charitable\, and philanthropic initiatives. \nSince 2021\, the Prize can be awarded to an adult individual or to an Association/Entity of the Third Sector\, and also to a minor. The municipal administration for 2025 awards the prize to Brother Roberto Rizzato\, in the adult category\, and to Leonardo D’Incà\, a young minor. \nThe Civic Museum of Palazzo Fulcis will be open with holiday hours\, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. In addition to the works of the Museum\, a exhibition dedicated to Franco Fiabane will be available for viewing\, as well as the display of the Ex Tempore sculptures\, for which voting will be possible until Sunday the 16th. The Museum also welcomes back the #fulcisopenlab\, the restoration workshop open to the public: from November 6\, the processional sign of Mel\, a masterpiece of wooden carving from the 18th century attributed to Giovanni Marchiori\, will undergo scheduled maintenance. DESCRIPTION:Delivery of the recognition \nOn Tuesday\, November 11th at 11:30 AM\, at Palazzo Crepadona\, the San Martino Award will be presented\, established in 1972\, to recognize and honor those who have distinguished themselves with concrete works and actions in the fields of science\, literature\, arts\, music\, productive activities\, work\, education\, sports\, and the environment\, as well as through social\, assistance\, and philanthropic initiatives. \nSince 2021\, the Award can be given to an adult individual or to an Association/Third Sector Entity\, and also to a minor. The municipal administration for 2025 awards the prize to Father Roberto Rizzato for the adult category\, and to Leonardo D’Incà\, a young minor. \nFather Roberto Rizzato\, originally from Vicenza\, has been an integral part of the Belluno community for years. From a young age\, he chose to dedicate his life to serving others\, first as a missionary in Angola and then in Italy\, engaging in assistance and volunteer activities for the most vulnerable people. His testimony of concrete charity\, lived with discretion and continuity\, fully reflects the spirit of self-giving to others\, also embodied by the patron saint. \nLeonardo D’Incà\, born in 2009 and residing in Belluno\, a student at the sports high school\, has distinguished himself for his commitment\, determination\, and achievements in alpine skiing\, a discipline in which he has achieved important successes at the regional and national level. His athletic performances and the seriousness with which he approaches training and competitions make him a positive example for his peers\, as well as a young athlete who helps to promote the name of Belluno on Italian and international slopes.

DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, November 12\, the presentation of Riccardo Pasqualin’s book “Antonio Maresio Bazzolle – Antirisorgimento veneto” will be held at Palazzo Crepadona. \nSpeakers include Gregorio Piaia\, emeritus professor of the History of Philosophy at the University of Padua\, and Paolo Conte\, former director of the Historical Archive of Belluno Feltre and Cadore. \nA fascinating and seemingly contradictory intellectual figure\, the Belluno native Antonio Maresio Bazolle (1818-1896) traversed the nineteenth century with an independent and polemical gaze. Remembered primarily as a chronicler of the profound changes of his time\, he was at times an “uncomfortable” observer and often dismissed as reactionary. Riccardo Pasqualin’s book reconstructs his profile\, attempting to highlight his personality while composing the narrative of a “reversed” resurgence. \nBook presentation

DESCRIPTION:We bring attention to Afghan women. \nAfghanistan has trembled and Afghan women have always trembled… and we tremble with them. \nWe are mobilizing with four events for fundraising to draw attention to the drama of Afghan women; we will meet them through the photos of Carla Dazzi – CISDA and ISP activist – spoken word readings\, and videos. \nOn October 25 and 26 in Lentiai\, at SOMS\, inauguration at 5:30 PM and meeting with Carla Dazzi\, followed by an apericena\, with the exhibition open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. \nOn November 7\, 8\, and 9 in Tai di Cadore\, in Sala Coletti\, inauguration and meeting with Carla Dazzi\, with the exhibition open on November 8 and 9 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. \nOn November 13 in Belluno in Sala Bianchi\, at 8:00 PM meeting with Carla Dazzi.
