These and many other questions will find comprehensive answers thanks to the initiative “Librarian for a Day\,” promoted by the Municipal Administration of Fonzaso through the Civic Library. \nThe project aimed at children and teenagers aged 7 to 14 aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance that libraries hold today for the development of communities: a place dedicated to culture\, socialization\, and personal growth. \nThe initiative includes a series of four meetings with a maximum of 3 participants per time slot (first shift from 10:00 to 10:30 – second shift: from 10:30 to 11:00) which will take place at the Civic Library on the following dates: \nSaturday\, September 27 2025Saturday\, October 4 2025Saturday\, October 11 2025Saturday\, October 25 2025 \nThe teenagers will be the stars of a fun and stimulating journey that will allow them to stand behind the counter\, helping the Librarian with lending to users\, shelving books\, searching for requested books\, stamping\, and labeling new literary works. With its characteristic basin shape\, it is a true hiking paradise due to its forest\, which is the second largest in Italy. In this area\, there is a Cimbrian ethnic settlement dating back to the early 1800s.Of German origin\, this population comes from Roana\, one of the seven municipalities of the Vicentine plateau\, which settled here because of the rich beech woods\, a plant species suitable for artisanal work.Currently\, the villages of Campon and Pian Osteria are inhabited by the Cimbri\, while traces of some typical buildings remain in Le Rotte\, Vallorch\, I Pich\, Pian Canaie\, Canaie\, Pian dei Lovi\, and Valbona. The historic building of Pian Osteria houses the Ethnographic Museum and Cimbrian culture; it is open every day from June 15 to September 15 and can also be visited by reservation during the other periods of the year. Among the sections\, the first is dedicated to woodwork; the second is dedicated to Cimbrian artisanal activities; the third is dedicated to the library and the projection of videos about Cansiglio and Cimbrian culture\, its history\, and its legends. DESCRIPTION:In its various aspects\, music allows us to make journeys of real dimensions into places\, sounds\, and languages\, different landscapes. \nThis is what Irmos Ensemble offers\, an all-female group dedicated to the repertoire of the ancient Christian tradition developed in the lands of the East: a true journey. \nAn indispensable exploration of linguistic specificities\, that is\, being\, even before being musicians\, native speakers\, and thus inherently able to intone songs created in liturgical contexts\, particularly Byzantine\, Greek\, Orthodox\, but also Georgian and Serbian. \nA song sometimes in a monophonic form\, other times polyphonic\, but always without the support of musical instruments\, an aspect that makes it particularly touching and certainly unique compared to the Western tradition\, which\, starting shortly after the year 1000\, increasingly integrates vocal practice with instrumental. \nThe favored realm of Eastern Christian singing is the Orthodox monasteries\, which arose in great numbers during the medieval period in Greece\, Ukraine\, Russia. \nIn these contexts\, the sung chant is a fundamental and central aspect of the liturgical celebration\, along with the passages chosen from the Scriptures\, chanted by the celebrant. \nIt is not so much the commentary on these passages that determines their character as the auditory contemplation that arises from listening to single-voice melodic lines\, on the drone\, in polyphonic intertwining that\, almost halting time\, allow one to pause in front of the iconostasis\, permeating oneself with the light that emanates from it. \nLight and sound\, eye and ear in harmonious alliance: this is what this ancient tradition offers today to those who feel the desire for intimate real connection between themselves and the divine. \nFree entry\, conscious offering. \nListening-meditation within The Way to the Sanctuary. SUMMARY:Transcavallo Equinox Run
DESCRIPTION:Join the 8th edition of the Transcavallo Equinox Run! \nThe Transcavallo Equinox Run is a foot race along the trails of the Prealps of Alpago and on the border with Friuli Venezia Giulia\, approximately 21.6 km long with a positive elevation gain of 1\,900 meters for the long team route consisting of two athletes\, while the short individual route is about 12.7 km with a D+ of 1\,060 m. The start will be on Sunday\, September 21\, 2025\, at 8:30 AM for the long team race and at 9:00 AM for the short individual race\, both starting from the Piazzale di Col Indes (Tambre) at an altitude of 1\,161 m – the start and finish coincide.There will be 4 refreshment points along the long route (Casera Palantina twice) – Rifugio Semenza – junction Pian de le lastre. There are 2 refreshment points for the short race\, at Casera Palantina and at the junction Pian de le lastre. The 3rd edition of the FORESTER features the same route as in previous editions\, with a length of 8.2 km and an uphill elevation gain of +365 m\, totaling 730 m. There are no rankings or awards\, it is open to everyone\, and it has no technical difficulties; registration will take place directly on Sunday\, September 21\, from 8:00 AM until the start time set at 9:15 AM at the race office in Col Indes. \nLong team race: 21.6 km Individual race: 12.7 km Forester: 8.2 km

DESCRIPTION:Non-competitive running race in the places of Vajont \nStart and finish in Longarone (BL) – free pace\, open to everyone on 3 routes of approximately 9/16/24 km. \nThe walking event on the ‘Memory of Vajont’ routes was conceived by the Association of Vajont Survivors\, now the Vajont Association – the future of Memory\, to promote a widely appealing event remembering the tragedy of October 9\, 1963\, mainly involving young people\, in order to stimulate and support\, through sport\, a moment of remembrance and reflection for the 1910 innocent victims\, as well as create a ‘solidarity fund’ to donate for humanitarian aid. \nThe non-competitive race will traverse sections of roads interrupted or destroyed in the Vajont disaster that historically characterized the connecting routes between the Vajont Valley\, as well as paths that served as ancient walking routes for the people of Casso\, Erto\, Castellavazzo\, and Longarone. \nIt will therefore be a suggestive step back in time to traverse routes rich in history such as the old Colomber road\, the tunnels\, the pipe bridge\, the Pascoli quarry\, the entire crest of the dam\, cross the Toc landslide\, pass through old Erto\, and then\, for the Trui del sciarbon\, ascend to Casso\, descend to Codissago for the Troi de Sant’Antoni\, and reach Longarone in the Malcom area. \n \nSport and solidarity for the Memory of Vajont
