SUMMARY:Vivaio Letterario - A Nord! A Nord! Altre latitudini\, altre storie
DESCRIPTION:“To follow the dream and again to follow the dream and so forever until the end” : Lord Jim’s motto by Conrad\, one of the guiding spirits of my youth\, has been – and still is – one of my inspiring mottos. I dreamed of doing any job that would allow me to be among books and within books. The only one that had never crossed my mind was that of a publisher. Life is always surprising\, or is it following dreams that leads us down unexpected paths and beyond expectations? \nI did not know that Pippi Longstocking\, the Moomins\, Bibi\, the fairy tales of Andersen\, Asbjørnsen and Moe and Afanasiev\, the entire fairy-tale and adventurous world of my childhood\, would lead me to Tolkien\, to the Edda\, to the Sagas\, to Ibsen\, to Karen Blixen: to the North\, to the North! to the mythical lands of the Hyperboreans and their heirs. \nI did not know that reading is like eating: we forget what we eat and\, alas\, also what we read\, but that food nourishes us within and does not leave us unscathed. Is reading an aesthetic or existential experience? Is it because for forty years I’ve been reading “to the North” that I tend to think that books change our lives? \nOr is it so anyway? Happy to discuss it with you at the Nursery\, a beautiful day in May\, nourishing body\, mind\, soul\, and friendship. Emilia Lodigiani \nWe will be wisely welcomed by Chiara Alpago Novello at 9:30 for breakfast with coffee\, tea\, all the good things to start the day well: cookies made with organic flours baked in a wood oven\, local yogurt and cheeses\, fruit jams from the garden\, and whatever the awakening and the season inspire (for example\, chiffon). At 12:30 light lunch\, greetings\, and a toast. In between\, chats\, questions\, beautiful ideas. As much as you want. \nBreakfast with Emilia Lodigiani

SUMMARY:Latterie aperte in Valbelluna - dalla latteria alla tavola
DESCRIPTION:Open Dairies in Valbelluna enhances the work of the cooperative dairies in the area by showcasing traditional processing methods still in use today\, which determine the quality of the dairy products offered. With nearly 30 thousand quintals of milk per year\, the dairy companies represent an invaluable socio-economic heritage to be preserved. There are over 50 varieties of cheese produced\, including DOP (Montasio) and PAT: a basket of products of the highest quality\, recognized on countless occasions thanks to local competitions (such as those promoted by the CCIAA of Belluno-Treviso) and regional ones (Caseus Veneti). \nDuring the event day\, the involved dairies are open to the public and offer demonstrations of their product processing at different times\, presented by the cheesemakers and/or industry technicians and ONAF collaborators\, guided tastings of cheeses from the dairies accompanied by wines from Valbelluna and beyond\, and other quality products (such as the DOP Honey of the Belluno Dolomites\, jams from local farms\, and much more). \nTo enliven the day\, folk groups\, choirs\, and other entertainers provide performances at the dairies. Additionally\, themed dinners and lunches\, led by the ONAF tasters from Belluno\, will take place in the restaurants of Valbelluna in the days leading up to the event! \nLet’s discover the cheeses and flavors of Valbelluna!

SUMMARY:Ed era tutta luce
DESCRIPTION:Giuliano Tremea – actingGastone Guerra – sax \n“A journey made of words that trace from the country paths to the routes of migrants a part of the map that Pasolini cast into the darkness of the future we are living. Synapses that find\, from the arches of the bombed bridges of the past\, in the receptors of today something distorted\, something else almost uprooted from the origins of time and from beauty now just an idea.” \n……………………………………………………… \nFor about an hour\, some texts by the poet\, a Friulian writer (nine poems and one song)\, will be recited in a performative manner\, interspersed with moments of pause and listening executed by Gastone on his own compositions and improvisations on the sax. \n……………………………………………………… \nThe texts offer various insights for developing different analytical paths: from the musical aspect related to the almost Provençal inflections of the poems in Friulian to reflections on the sudden changes from a rural and peasant society to that of the Italy of the economic boom\, to prophetic analyses of the mass movements of peoples that sixty years ago described what is now happening. \n……………………………………………………… \nGiuliano Tremea I have been primarily involved with the voice\, singing in various forms that engage me in research\, whether it be spontaneous vocality in approaching a text\, or singing that manifests in an improvisational situation. I have been and am part of: Detriti\, Pangolin Orchestra\, Dieci Ensemble and on other occasions with different formations with Eugenio Sanna\, Edoardo Ricci\, Lucio Bonaldo\, Gi Gasparin\, … and others \n……………………………………………………… \nGastone Guerra music\, from guitar\, bass … after a few years I switched to alto sax … having also used the tenor … I compose my own music but in this circumstance\, as in other similar ones\, improvisation will prevail as inspired by the context. \nRecital on the texts of Pier Paolo Pasolini

SUMMARY:Convegno Internazionale sull’Affresco. Passato\, presente\, futuro.
DESCRIPTION:The conference\, structured over two days\, is designed to introduce an increasingly broad audience to the technique of fresco painting\, which after its birth in the Middle Eastern-Mediterranean area\, few know has been mainly developed in Italy. \nTo immerse the audience in the subject\, after the welcome\, guests will be guided by Professor Isabella Pilo in a visit to the frescoes in the Basilica Church\, among which one can admire the famous Last Supper with red shrimp. Many cultural associations in Italy and around the world are dedicated and still are to the protection of frescoes\, to passing on the execution technique\, and to recounting its millenary history. \nThe President of the International Association for Fresco Architect Tiziano Sartor will present the activities carried out both at the national and international level by the Feltrina association over more than ten years since its foundation. \nNot many people know how to execute a fresco and what technical precautions need to be taken in order to do it properly. \nMaster Vico Calabrò will briefly illustrate how to execute it\, presenting some notes on the technique of fresco painting compared to that of dry painting. \nAnother lesser-known topic is the cultural evolution that over the millennia has shown the Homo genre. The relationship that early humans had with painting and drawing involved the depiction with red earth of animals and graphic signs on the walls of the caves. \nDr. Prof. Renzo Barbazza will present an excerpt from the Atlas of Artists’ Works regarding the birth of the neuro-aesthetic relationship that individuals of the Homo genus had since prehistory with the vertical surface of the wall and its ornamentation. \nFinally\, another little-known topic concerns restoration techniques. Frescoes\, in fact\, not only survive thanks to a chemical reaction between lime and pigments but are often exposed to the elements or found in humid places. \nHence the very frequent need to maintain their freshness and to recover them when severely damaged. \nDr. Bernardo Molinas Agnellini will report on the restoration of frescoes and the Italian excellence that has produced the technique based on lime nanoparticles. \nThe conference will last 8 hours but there will be a lunch break for attendees from 12:00 to 14:00. \nThe event is free and open to the public. \nFor information\, please send an email to pigmentiaps@gmail.com. \n \n \n \n \nA series of lectures conducted by artists\, professionals\, and scholars on the history and technique of fresco.

SUMMARY:Maggio a Starson
DESCRIPTION:Entry 5 euros\, free for members and children under 11 years old. \nIn May\, you can look forward to a rich program at the “Giuliano Vanin” Astronomical Center in Arson! \nSaturday\, May 3: an evening dedicated to the Moon. It will be quite an exceptional moment\, because to the best of the writer’s memory\, there has never been an opportunity in over forty years of public access to our observatories to admire the Apollo 11 landing area with the Moon this high. In addition to the entire Sea of Tranquility\, the eastern shore of the Sea of Serenity with the craters Posidonius and Plinius\, the wonderful complex on the western edge of the Sea of Nectar formed by the craters Teophilus\, Cyrillus\, and Catharina\, and further south the complex of the craters Pitiscus\, Hommel\, and Vlacq will also be visible. Through the telescope\, the blue star Regulus and the beautiful double stars Iota Cancri and Algieba will also be showcased. In case of bad weather\, the best moon landscape videos collected by the members corresponding to that evening’s phase will be projected in the planetarium\, in addition to showing the sky of the month and full-dome videos about the Moon. \nSaturday\, May 10: an evening dedicated to the little ones at the planetarium. Children will have various types of metal marbles\, tennis balls\, and balloons at their disposal to represent the sizes of the different planets. Then\, they will build a model together with the sun at the center and eight concentric circles representing the orbits of the planets. The planets will be made to move simulating their different speeds. Then\, with the help of the planetarium\, they will be able to see directly in the sky how the planets move in reality\, how they appear when viewed up close in space\, and have a very realistic view of their relative sizes\, even in relation to the Sun. If the weather is nice\, the Moon will still be observable in the sky. In its waxing phase\, with the craters John Herschel\, Anaximander\, and Pythagoras prominently displayed\, Mount Rumkor\, full of lunar domes\, and the craters Cavalerius\, Hevelius\, Schickard\, Wargentin\, and Phocylides will also be visible. Additionally\, two extraordinarily bright passes of the International Space Station will be observable. \nSaturday\, May 17: the explosion of the recurring nova T Coronae Borealis\, which will be visible to the naked eye. To prepare for the event\, there will be extensive discussions on this type of phenomenon\, which involves very tight double stars with very turbulent lives. From an observational point of view\, the spring galaxies will be particularly admired\, such as Bode and the Cigarette in Ursa Major\, the Needle and the Black Eye in Coma Berenices\, and the Sombrero in Virgo. There will be two more brilliant passes of the ISS. \nSaturday\, May 24: Dr. Gianluigi Zanola will speak on a highly topical scientific subject\, namely how much we truly know about the minds of animals and how we can speak of their consciousness\, an aspect that is intimately connected with the search for other forms of life in the universe. If the sky is clear\, the spring galaxies will again be observable\, along with the beautiful globular cluster M 3. Two more passes of the ISS will delight the evening. \nFinally\, on Saturday\, May 31\, the second of the evenings\, with free admission\, will take place for those\, members and non-members\, who want to learn to use the instruments of the Center or even bring their own and have it explained how to use it. In case of bad weather\, visitors can still ask\, indoors\, for insights about the functioning of their own instruments\, and the sky of the month will be presented in the planetarium\, with slides and videos. \nMay at the Astronomical Center
