DESCRIPTION:“Dear water\, dear water – water relationships” is a collection of installations\, including some unpublished ones\, that traces an artistic research on the theme of water developed by the artist Giorgio Vazza over more than thirty years. \nBorgo Piave ETC aps is pleased to present the new solo exhibition by Giorgio Vazza entitled “Dear water\, dear water – Water relations” which will be held at the Noble Floor of Palazzo Doglioni\, in via dei Molini 3 in Borgo Piave di Belluno\, on the days of October 4\, 9\, 10\, 11\, and 12\, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. \nThis is a collection of installations\, including some unpublished ones\, that retraces an artistic research on the theme of water developed by the artist over more than thirty years. \nThe theme of water\, the artist\, and the chosen dates are not random; this solo exhibition aims to be an opportunity to create reflections on the recent history of Borgo Piave and its relationship with the river: in the last century\, the Vajont disaster in 1963\, which directly affected Vazza\, who was then residing in Muda Maè\, and the flood of 1966 prompted choices including the relocation of the Borgo Piave community\, which had lived and worked on the river for centuries\, to another area of the city. \nThis led to a roughly 20-year abandonment of what had once been the river port of the City of Belluno and a temporary loss of the history associated with this place\, which has fortunately been rediscovered today with the Museum of the River Port and the Raftmen of Borgo Piave. \nKeeping the exhibition open on October 9 also becomes a gesture of remembrance for the Vajont disaster\, which was a social disaster for the Borgo Piave community. \nFurthermore\, the exhibition will provide further insights related to water as a resource and source of life\, as well as its usage today in a world where we hear daily about supply\, drought\, and hydroelectric reservoirs. \nThe exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday\, October 4 at 5:00 pm\, featuring a speech by Flavio Faoro and an introduction by Antonio Gheno\, president of Borgo Piave ETC aps. \n“Water as a primordial element linked to life\, to its birth and development since the beginning.  \nWater as a connection that marks the relationship between man and himself\, with the community\, with the places he inhabits and traverses. \nWater as a resource between harmonious coexistence and wild exploitation.  \nWater that enchants\, drips\, flows. Bortoluzzi\, taken from the homonymous book published by Marsilio Arte and the Veneto Region. \nAn exhibition that aims to restore the complexity of one of the most emblematic and vulnerable natural landscapes in Europe\, exposed to the challenges of climate change\, urbanization\, and invasive tourism. Two days in Val Zemola\, within the Municipality of Erto and Casso and the beautiful Natural Park of the Friulian Dolomites. The protagonists of the trek are the woods and their colors\, Mount Duranno (2652 m) always in sight\, the former Buscada quarry and the geo-paleontological park\, rich in ammonites and history\, the roar of the deer during their mating season\, and finally\, good food! On the first day\, we ascend to the Cava Buscada Refuge via a comfortable dirt road. Most of the backpack weight is left behind as we continue towards the summit of Palazza (2210 m – some short sections require steady footing). In the afternoon\, we visit the former quarry and the geo-paleontological park. You will be guests at the Cava Buscada Refuge\, an ancient shelter for quarrymen\, now restored as a base\, where your hosts have personally experienced the stories of those times. The exhibition represents the first official event related to the Mostra Mercato 2025. \nThe inauguration will take place on Thursday\, September 25 at 6:00 PM at the multifunctional hall of the Cultural Center\, located at via Cal de Formiga 31\, with a presentation by Dr. Cristina Pierotti. \n The exhibition\, sponsored by the Municipality of Santa Giustina and the Department of Culture\, is titled “HAYALLER”\, a Turkish word that means “dreams.” An evocative title\, inspired by a musical piece from a Turkish band particularly dear to the artist\, whose notes will accompany the exhibition path. The music\, in fact\, is the same that the author usually listens to during the creative process. \n On display are 24+1 works\, created in the last five years\, using oil on canvas technique\, in sizes 50×70 and 60×80. The paintings present themselves as an inner journey\, deeply personal\, where abstraction merges with figurative elements and recurring dreamlike symbols. The artist’s pictorial language moves between metaphysics and surrealism\, giving life to works that configure as “daydreams”: sometimes whispered\, other times shouted\, but always authentically experienced. \n The exhibition will remain open until October 10. Takeoff in the order of arrival at the summit.  \nTarget landing at Ronchena near the playground. Finish line in the square with a big celebration\, well-deserved refreshment\, and awards at 4:00 PM.  \nWARNING: dates and times may vary based on weather conditions. \nPoints are awarded based on the proximity of the landing to the center of the target and the time taken for the entire route.  \nThe race was born from an idea by Massimiliano De Bona with the support of the Pro Loco of Lentiai\, the Para Delta Club of Feltre\, and the Riding Episode association.
