DESCRIPTION: Market on the theme of reuse\, recycling\, and restoration \nAmong the numerous exhibitions ranging from flea markets to antique markets in Veneto\, the Fiera dell’oggetto ritrovato held in the historic center of Feltre on the second Sunday of the month\, from April to December\, stands out for its focus on the themes of reuse\, recycling\, and restoration. \nIn the stalls between Piazza Maggiore and via Mezzaterra\, there are those who sell\, those who exchange\, those who enhance\, and those who simply want to give things a second life. \nYou’ll find items for sale of all kinds and from all eras: from antiques to modern collectibles to second-hand goods. From porcelain to vintage clothes\, from records to wooden boxes\, from tools used by our grandparents to coins… there’s something for everyone! \nThe stalls and gazebos are surrounded by frescoed buildings and the imposing medieval structure of the Castle of Alboino; the beautiful Teatro de la Sena (closed for restoration)\, an original miniature of the more famous Gran Teatro la Fenice in Venice\, the Carlo Rizzarda Modern Art Gallery\, the Civic Museum\, and the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art are all worth a visit\, conveniently located in the historic center and with very low entrance fees.

DESCRIPTION:Free guided tour every opening day at 3:00 PM  \nDiscover a story of many centuries \nIn the locality of Santa Libera lies the ancient mill\, whose wheels were already operational in 1526 and which\, until its closure in 1980\, changed hands among the local and Venetian noble families. \nThe mill of Santa Libera tells a story spanning many centuries\, connected to the territory of Santa Giustina and the waters of the Veses stream. As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.

DESCRIPTION:Show market dedicated to embroidery and lace\, combined with the International Embroidery Competition. \nFor an entire weekend\, Mel in Borgo Valbelluna dresses in embroidery and lace. \nThe tenth edition of the market exhibition “Dolomiti in Ricamo” is scheduled for Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2026\, along with the International Competition Dolomiti in Ricamo\, this year with the theme titled “The Dolomite Seasons…Winter”\, set up at the Palazzo delle Contesse. \nThe exhibition is dedicated to embroidery\, lace\, masterpieces of craftsmanship created by skilled hands\, and is organized by the association “Gusela e Fil”. In previous editions\, it has gathered increasing public acclaim\, thus becoming a fixed appointment at the beginning of the summer season in Borgo Valbelluna. \nLike every year\, it will see the participation of artisans in the sector and numerous high-quality exhibitors from all over Italy. The event aims to enhance and safeguard Women’s Arts as well as promote the culture of embroidery and lace\, precious and sophisticated arts that have become increasingly rare in our days\, as they require infinite patience and a lot of time. \nThe splendid setting of the Palazzo delle Contesse transforms into a true workshop for two days: artistic embroideries\, lace\, cross-stitch works\, lace-making\, macramé\, tatting\, threads\, artistic buttons… and much more! \nThere will also be spaces dedicated to mini courses where various embroidery techniques and other artistic specialties will be demonstrated and taught. DESCRIPTION:Tickets:– Adults € 10– Reduced € 8 \n 36th edition of the theater review \nThe spotlight is back on the XXXVI edition of the theater festival “Maggio Teatrale Zumellese” in Borgo Valbelluna at the S.Pietro Auditorium in Mel! Since 1988\, around fifty amateur and professional companies\, mostly from Veneto\, have taken to the stage\, representing a great cultural resource for our area and bringing high-quality performances every year that capture the attention and appreciation of the audience. \nThis year\, the festival will also begin with the presentation of the workshops of Borgo in Scena organized by Art Dolomites. Actor and trainer Alberto Fornasati has led these workshops divided into three groups of different ages\, and on May 17 at 6 p.m.\, he will showcase the results of these sessions. \nOn Saturday\, May 23 at 9 p.m.\, the group i Comelianti from S.Stefano di Cadore\, one of the most active companies in the Province\, will present a “noir” comedy Innocenti\, ma non troppo\, loosely based on the film “The Conspiracy of Innocents” by Alfred Hitchcock. \nFollowing that\, on May 30 at 9 p.m.\, the company LaTrappola from Vicenza returns to Mel with the show “I will kill you until you die”\, a sparkling comedy with a comic crescendo of paradoxical and hilarious situations that will reveal more than just a single mystery. \nWe continue on Saturday\, June 6 at 9 p.m. with “Sic Transit Gloria Mundi – The Pope Woman” by Ippogrifo Produzioni from Verona. A funny and imaginative monologue that tells the hypothetical and controversial election of a female pope. There’s much laughter and just as much thinking. \nThe festival will conclude with the double appointment on June 13 and 14 at 9 p.m.\, featuring the Gruppo Teatrale Zumellese debuting their new show “Curious Women” by C.Goldoni.
