Belgium was the first country to reopen its borders to Italian emigration due to the need to replace local workers (who no longer accepted those inhumane working conditions) and war prisoners\, in the depths of the coal mines\, which were essential and in high demand to support post-war reconstruction. \nMarcinelle marked the history of Belgium but also of mining work and emigration to that country. The mines in Belgium were gradually closed. But the wounds of those dramas were never healed. Even today\, some remember Belgium by the name of the Black Country\, or the homeland of Cain\, due to the xenophobia to which many Italians were subjected. \nFree admission.

DESCRIPTION:Informational journey aimed at adults who work closely with children (parents\, teachers\, educators\, and other reference figures) \nThe phenomenon of youth violence\, often linked to difficulties in managing emotions such as anger and aggression\, can be traced back to complex dynamics involving both the young people themselves and the adults who care for them. The growing concern arising from the increase in cases of violence among young people observed within institutions\, but also in various educational and social contexts\, necessitates addressing these issues through targeted interventions.  \nThe municipality of Feltre has chosen to initiate an informative pathway aimed at adults who work closely with children (parents\, teachers\, educators\, and other reference figures)\, to provide them with adequate tools and knowledge to recognize and effectively manage signs of emotional and behavioral distress in young people. \nThe training aims to intervene promptly to reduce the risks of escalation towards violent behavior and contain the phenomenon by promoting a safer and more serene atmosphere\, both in schools and in family and social contexts. \nThese are the planned training meetings. DESCRIPTION:Men could choose between light and darkness and they chose darkness. \nPresentation of the book by Egidio Pasuch “The Black Ghosts of Marcinelle – history – and stories – of Belluno emigration to Belgium” published by Bellunesi nel mondo. \nIn the post-World War II period\, thousands of people from Belluno (as well as many other Venetians and Friulians) were driven by hunger and misery to Belgium. Belgium was the first country to reopen its borders to Italian emigration due to the need to replace local workers (who no longer accepted those inhumane working conditions) and war prisoners\, in the depths of the coal mines\, which were essential and in high demand to support post-war reconstruction. \nMarcinelle marked the history of Belgium but also of mining work and emigration to that country. The mines in Belgium were gradually closed. But the wounds of those dramas were never healed. Even today\, some remember Belgium by the name of the Black Country\, or the homeland of Cain\, due to the xenophobia to which many Italians were subjected. \nFree admission.

DESCRIPTION:All activities are free and open access\, but registration is mandatory \n Immerse yourself in biodiversity through excursions and thematic workshops \nThe Municipality of Feltre presents the SIAMO NATURA project!\, designed for everyone with a focus on the younger generation\, to truly connect with our wonderful mountains and the flourishing garden of possibilities and wonders they offer. \n A unique opportunity to rediscover the deep bond between humanity and nature through excursions\,  trekking\,  workshops\, and residential activities dedicated to the youth\, led by expert environmental nature guides. \n The project will involve the Vincheto Nature Reserve\, managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Department of Belluno: a protected oasis according to the Ramsar Convention\, of international importance situated on the right bank of the Piave River.  Established in 1971\, it encompasses 92 hectares of wetlands with standing and flowing water\, riparian forests\, meadows\, and shrub lands. \n  Through guided tours\, participants will learn about the history\, biodiversity\, and significance of the natural site and its relationship with water. \n We will observe the waters\, the great trees\, the rocks and pebbles\, flowers\, and birds as inhabitants of the area\, recounting how humans have interacted with nature by cultivating trees\, gathering reeds\, and building mills. \n The guided tours of the reserve and half-day excursions are easy walks aimed at adults and families with children starting from 6 years old. \n Full-day excursions are aimed at adults and families with teenagers starting from 10 years old.
