With this spirit the outdoor cinema review “Olympics: the stories of the big screen” was born\, organized by the Municipality of Belluno as part of the summer events of Restate in Città 2025.  \nFor five weeks\, stories inspired by real events based on alpine skiing\, bobsleigh\, ski jumping\, hockey\, and skating will come to life on the big screen.  \nIt will begin on Friday\, July 4th with the documentary The Blue Avalanche by director Giovanni Veronesi\, which will trace the unique journey of the Italian national alpine skiing team of the 1970s\, led by the legendary coach Mario Cotelli and captained by champions like Gustavo Thoeni and Piero Gros.  \nThrough successes that have rewritten the history of Italian sport\, such as the conquest of five World Cups and numerous medals in the Olympics and World Championships\, the documentary celebrates the internal rivalries\, character clashes\, and sacrifices that made this team invincible.  \nThe unpublished testimonies of the protagonists\, intertwined with the narration of Giovanni Veronesi\, who reveals on this occasion his past as an aspiring champion\, relive the unique epic of a sporting cyclone.  \nThe Blue Avalanche is a documentary by Giovanni Veronesi\, written by Lorenzo Fabiano\, Domenico Procacci\, Giovanni Veronesi\, Sandro Veronesi\, and with the advice of Luca Rea. DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the 60th anniversary of their founding (1965-2025)\, the Polyphonic Choir CTG of Belluno has created a rich program of concerts in the municipality of Belluno and outside the province. \nIt begins on Saturday April 12\, at 8:00 PM with a concert for the Jubilee “Per crucem ad lucem” at the Church of San Rocco. Guest choirs will be the Trentino Philharmonic Choir conducted by Sandro Filippi and the CTG Polyphonic Choir conducted by Stefano Da Ros. \nContinuing on Saturday May 17\, at 5:00 PM\, at Palazzo Crepadona\, there will be a conference moderated by Elena Filini titled “Msgr. Sergio Manfroi: the man\, the priest\, the musician\, the educator“. \nThe concert that will open their summer season will take place on Saturday June 14\, at 8:45 PM at the Cathedral of Belluno. DESCRIPTION:Free guided tours for everyone \nReturns “In the Park with Mom and Dad“\, the Environmental Education program in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park with guided excursions offering many environmental education and sustainability insights for children and families in many wonderful places in the Park. \n  For the summer\, activities are proposed in many known and lesser-known places and trails of the Park\, all with special and important characteristics.  You will discover the Valle del Mis with the splendid “Cadini del Brentòn“\, a sequence of 15 deep cavities carved by the waters of the Brentòn stream; the Val Canzoi with its natural biodiversity; the Val di Zoldo with forests rich in legends; meadows and thickets of Salet\, where the Forest Company is present with beautiful horses\, and where there are many wild animals nearby such as frogs\, toads\, deer\, and roe deer. \n  The park is characterized by a great variety of environments: from the riparian areas in the valley bottom to the rocky walls at high altitudes\, passing through broadleaf forests\, coniferous forests\, high-altitude shrublands\, meadows\, and scree.   Participation in activities is free.  \nMost of the itineraries are easy proposals for everyone: families with children\, adults-seniors\, people with disabilities or those who have difficulties walking\, and also for those who are lazy and love to visit special and beautiful places without too much effort.  \n  The Dolomiti Bellunesi always offer routes\, discoveries\, and surprises for everyone! \n \nThe morning excursions have a maximum number of participants\, and it is recommended to register at least two days in advance at the email address guide.pndb@gmail.com or by calling or sending a message (WhatsApp\, Telegram\, or SMS) to 3290040808. The two Olympics” is open to the public until August 31\, 2025\, hosted at Longarone Fiere Dolomiti and accessible for free every day from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. \nAn immersive journey through six thematic exhibition spaces\, where multimedia installations\, historical objects\, archival videos\, and sports memorabilia tell the story of the connection between the 1956 Winter Olympics and those of 2026. On display: \n\n\nThe Olympic torches of Cortina 1956 and Milan Cortina 2026 \n\n\nAn original bobsled from the 1950s \n\n\nPosters\, models\, projects\, and historical photographs \n\n\nThe competition clothing of Roberto Zandonella\, Olympic gold medalist in four-man bobsled in 1968 with Eugenio Monti \n\n\nThe path is enriched by newsreels and historical footage from the Istituto Luce\, which convey the atmosphere of Cortina in the 1950s\, filled with glamour\, sports\, and elite tourism. \nPromoted by the Veneto Region\, in collaboration with the Veneto Chamber System\, the exhibition is developed by the Cortina Foundation with the support of Venicepromex\, and curated by architect Ugo Soragni. \nAn initiative that celebrates the history of winter sports and involves citizens and territories in a cultural and symbolic journey towards Milan Cortina 2026. \n Cortina d’Ampezzo.
