DESCRIPTION:All appointments are free to attend.Access to conferences and screenings is free until seating is exhausted. \n \n Conference “Climate Crisis: from Data to Action” with Elisa Palazzi – Climatologist\, author\, and science communicator \nELISA PALAZZIGraduated in Physics with a PhD in Physical Modeling for Environmental Protection\, Elisa Palazzi is currently an associate professor at the University of Turin where she teaches Climate Physics.Her main scientific interests concern the study of climate and its changes in mountainous regions\, which are considered sentinels of climate change.She is the co-author\, along with Federico Taddia\, of the children’s book Why Does the Earth Have a Fever? (Editoriale Scienza\, 2019) and the climate podcast Beautiful World (Spotify\, 2022). With Sara Moraca\, she wrote We Are All Greta (Edizioni Dedalo\, 2022).She engages in scientific dissemination within national festivals\, conferences\, and meetings in schools of all levels. \n  \nCONFERENCE: Climate Crisis: From Data to ActionIn the early days of 2025\, the Copernicus climate report was published\, highlighting the many negative climate records reached in 2024: the hottest year since we began global measurements\, the first solar year in which the one-and-a-half-degree threshold compared to pre-industrial levels was exceeded\, and a year rich in extreme events with devastating impacts in many cases. The director of Copernicus\, upon the release of the report\, stated that “Humanity is master of its own destiny\, but how we respond to the climate challenge should be based on evidence. The future is in our hands: swift and decisive actions can still change the course of our climate.” The climate crisis is an increasingly evident reality\, supported by robust and unequivocal scientific data\, just as the effects of global warming are obvious to everyone. But data alone is not enough; it is essential to translate them into concrete and timely actions to mitigate the causes of climate change\, adapt to them\, and make the future more climatically stable\, and consequently more secure and equitable. \n

DESCRIPTION:Toio De Savorgnani – Writer and AIGAE Nature GuideMarco Scapin – Teacher\, musician\, writer \nTOIO DE SAVORGNANIWriter\, journalist\, and environmentalist. He has published two books about the Cansiglio forest and is known for his commitment to the environment. Born in Gorizia\, he later moved to Veneto\, with a Cimbrian mother from Cansiglio and a forestry father. He practiced mountaineering and participated in an expedition in 1979 to Manaslu in the Nepal Himalayas. He has made about ten trips to Nepal\, India\, and Tibet\, also leading trekking groups. He worked in the Cansiglio Forest from 1983 to 2021\, both as a forestry worker and as a guide for schools and groups\, at the Lorenzoni Botanical Garden and the Museum of Man in Cansiglio. An AIGAE Nature Guide\, he is among the founders of the Cansiglio Park Committee\, the Alex Langer Eco-Institute of Veneto\, the Ass. Not a generic hope\, not the ‘wait and hope’ of dragging on. No\, it is more a trust in the possibility of rediscovering friendships\, of redeeming our lives starting from relationships\, from social bonds.  A bond that\, in the novel\, is reformed by reclaiming a relationship with our territories\, which for too long we have ‘inhabited reluctantly\,’ as a friend who is an architect/designer told me\, to say that our living is forced\, habitual\, unreflective.  More and more\, the harsh blows of the climate crisis are making us open our eyes\, revealing the alienation and ignorance with which we live in places increasingly reduced to mere spaces\, spaces to cross following trajectories on which we delude ourselves into having some control\, and which\, instead\, are entirely compulsory.  \n Who still knows the life of waterways? The majority of those who live next to them take them for granted\, then floods\, flash floods\, or distressing droughts surprise us\, and we realize that they are not at all to be taken for granted.  I knew I had written a ‘geographical novel’: I had not realized to what extent telling a story of re-knowledge of a territory – in this specific case\, the Po Delta – was already\, in every way\, telling a story of new bonds being formed\, of convergences and new communality among people. I realize this now\, thanks to readers and audiences.  In a time of pervasive anxieties and overwhelming and immense threats to the environment\, to the world\, to life itself\, I am happy to have written a book that brushes against the suffocating reality that comes to us with the news\, and elicits countertrend reactions. DESCRIPTION:All activities are free and open access\, but registration is mandatory \n Immerse yourself in biodiversity through excursions and thematic workshops \nThe Municipality of Feltre presents the SIAMO NATURA project!\, designed for everyone with a focus on the younger generation\, to truly connect with our wonderful mountains and the flourishing garden of possibilities and wonders they offer. \n A unique opportunity to rediscover the deep bond between humanity and nature through excursions\,  trekking\,  workshops\, and residential activities dedicated to the youth\, led by expert environmental nature guides. \n The project will involve the Vincheto Nature Reserve\, managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Department of Belluno: a protected oasis according to the Ramsar Convention\, of international importance situated on the right bank of the Piave River.  Established in 1971\, it encompasses 92 hectares of wetlands with standing and flowing water\, riparian forests\, meadows\, and shrub lands. \n  Through guided tours\, participants will learn about the history\, biodiversity\, and significance of the natural site and its relationship with water. \n We will observe the waters\, the great trees\, the rocks and pebbles\, flowers\, and birds as inhabitants of the area\, recounting how humans have interacted with nature by cultivating trees\, gathering reeds\, and building mills. \n The guided tours of the reserve and half-day excursions are easy walks aimed at adults and families with children starting from 6 years old. \n Full-day excursions are aimed at adults and families with teenagers starting from 10 years old.

DESCRIPTION:Book presentation by Margherita Graglia \nMeeting with the author Margherita Graglia\, psychologist\, psychotherapist\, sexologist\, organized by the A.GE.D.O. Treviso-Belluno Association and sponsored by the Municipality of Belluno.  Introduced by Manuela Pelizzon\, President of Agedo Treviso-Belluno In dialogue with the author Michela Fregona.  \nAgedo is an association of parents\, relatives\, and friends of LGBTQIA+ people that has been providing welcome\, listening\, and support to these individuals for over 30 years. It works in the social field to break down prejudices\, develops awareness projects within institutions\, participates in discussion tables with institutions and associations\, promotes a culture that respects diversity\, and values differences to overcome any discrimination.  \nThe theme of gender identity in adolescence is of utmost interest to parents\, educators\, professionals\, and volunteers who care for and look after young people. It is important that scientifically accurate and updated information is disseminated to the population in order to allow for constructive reflection.  The focus is on the work of Dr. Graglia\, who has recently been the protagonist of a substantial high-quality training organized by the U.O. Childhood and Adolescence Family and Consultories of ULSS 1 Dolomiti.  \nThe broad perspective on the theme of gender incongruence proposed by Dr. Graglia spans various areas: personal\, familial\, social\, educational\, ethical; therefore\, it is believed that the Author can offer the community a comprehensive\, complex\, and clarifying view that can serve as a starting point for personal reflections for everyone.
