DESCRIPTION:The black ghosts of Marcinelle: a journey into the memory of Bellunese emigration to Belgium. \n An event that touches the heart and history\, a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the stories of thousands of Bellunesi who\, between 1946 and 1956\, left their land in search of fortune in the mines of Belgium.  \nThe meeting\, dedicated to the presentation of the book The black ghosts of Marcinelle. History (and stories) of Bellunese emigration to Belgium\, edited by Egidio Pasuch\, is an opportunity to discover a fundamental page of local and national history.  \nThrough documents\, stories\, and testimonies\, the book offers an in-depth analysis of migration flows\, the socio-economic context of the time\, and the difficult living and working conditions in the Belgian mines.  \nThe narrative unfolds between statistics and chronicles\, bringing to light dramatic events such as mining accidents and the spread of silicosis among Italian workers.  \nA central moment in the volume is the account of the Marcinelle tragedy of August 8\, 1956\, reconstructed through articles published by newspapers of the time\, including Il Gazzettino and L’Amico del Popolo.  \nThe evening will be enriched by the participation of the author\, who will guide the audience through this path of collective memory\, giving voice to the stories of those who have personally experienced the sacrifice of emigration.  \nAn emotional journey between past and present\, to rediscover the roots of a community that has faced immense challenges with dignity and courage.  \nParticipating means not only getting to know an important chapter of Bellunese history but also reflecting on the themes of emigration\, work\, and historical memory.  \nA not-to-be-missed appointment for all those who wish to understand more deeply the indissoluble bond between Belluno and Belgium\, between the hopes of the past and the legacies of the present. \nThe event is free of charge. \nMeeting on the history of Belluno emigration in Belgium

On the occasion of the Exhibition\, the corridors of the palaces\, the streets\, and the ancient houses become the ideal setting for displaying artisanal products\, attracting an ever-increasing audience. \n  This year\, blacksmiths will also be the protagonists as they participate in the forging competition and the award named after master Carlo Rizzarda. Furthermore\, throughout the four days\, numerous shows will take place within the medieval citadel of Feltre. \n The Exhibition of Artistic and Traditional Crafts takes place annually along the streets of the historic center of Feltre\, with the ancient palaces of the citadel opened exceptionally to host artisans and ancient trades.  Craftsmanship and “Made in Italy” are the stars of the event in a unique and spectacular setting; blacksmiths forging wrought iron\, masters of glass processing\, sculptors\, painters\, ceramists\, artisans\, and artists populate the streets of the city from Piazza Maggiore\, along Via Mezzaterra to Largo Castaldi. \nAndroni\, streets and ancient houses become an exhibition frame for artisanal products.

DESCRIPTION:Event dedicated to the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games of Milan-Cortina 2026. \nThe exhibition “At School of Olympics” is a project of the municipal administration of Belluno\, designed to engage young people and\, through them\, the entire community in the spirit of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. \nStudents from the Tommaso Catullo Institute will have access to exhibition spaces inside the shop windows of the city center. \nEach student will choose to bring their idea about the Olympics and Paralympics to life through painting\, drawing on paper\, or small sculptures. \nThe creations will be accompanied by an explanatory poster of the project and some brief data about the work. \nThe Municipality of Belluno acts as the creator of the initiative and\, together with Confcommercio\, serves as a bridge between schools and businesses.
