DESCRIPTION:All activities are free and open access\, but registration is mandatory \n Immerse yourself in biodiversity through excursions and thematic workshops \nThe Municipality of Feltre presents the SIAMO NATURA project!\, designed for everyone with a focus on the younger generation\, to truly connect with our wonderful mountains and the flourishing garden of possibilities and wonders they offer. \n A unique opportunity to rediscover the deep bond between humanity and nature through excursions\,  trekking\,  workshops\, and residential activities dedicated to the youth\, led by expert environmental nature guides. \n The project will involve the Vincheto Nature Reserve\, managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Department of Belluno: a protected oasis according to the Ramsar Convention\, of international importance situated on the right bank of the Piave River.  Established in 1971\, it encompasses 92 hectares of wetlands with standing and flowing water\, riparian forests\, meadows\, and shrub lands. \n  Through guided tours\, participants will learn about the history\, biodiversity\, and significance of the natural site and its relationship with water. \n We will observe the waters\, the great trees\, the rocks and pebbles\, flowers\, and birds as inhabitants of the area\, recounting how humans have interacted with nature by cultivating trees\, gathering reeds\, and building mills. \n The guided tours of the reserve and half-day excursions are easy walks aimed at adults and families with children starting from 6 years old. \n Full-day excursions are aimed at adults and families with teenagers starting from 10 years old.

DESCRIPTION:The Lamon Plateau\, the extreme edge of the Western Feltrino\, extends to the thresholds of the Dolomites\, bordered to the East by the deep incision of the Cismon River and surrounded by mountainous and hilly ridges that separate it from the Tesino and Valsugana areas. \n The territory\, Romanized around the 1st century AD\, was crossed by the Via Claudia Augusta\, a military road that connected Altino with Rhaetia. Its route was dotted with fortifications\, one of which likely stood on the Colle di San Pietro\, where the homonymous parish church was later built. \n In the San Donato area\, this presence was confirmed by the discovery in 1836 of the “Chalice of Deacon Orso“\, the oldest Eucharistic chalice in Christianity’s Western world. In the Piasentot locality\, the remains of a late Roman necropolis were recently found\, the subject of an extensive archaeological excavation campaign that allowed for the recovery of over 80 burials along with funeral equipment including earrings\, necklaces\, fibulae\, and coins. \n And it is in these places that the trail takes place\, consisting of three racing events in a medium mountain environment: \n 40K competitive sky running event covering approximately 40 kilometers with a positive elevation gain of about 2000 meters. \n 22K competitive race with a loop course of approximately 22 kilometers and a positive elevation gain of about 1000 meters. \n 14K short trial\, competitive with a sports medical certificate and also NON-competitive\, featuring a loop course of approximately 14 kilometers and a positive elevation gain of about 700 meters. \nThe perfect mix for lovers of running\, nature\, and history

SUMMARY:Siamo Natura: un viaggio di scoperta nelle meraviglie del territorio feltrino
DESCRIPTION:All activities are free and open access\, but registration is mandatory \n Immerse yourself in biodiversity through excursions and thematic workshops \nThe Municipality of Feltre presents the SIAMO NATURA project!\, designed for everyone with a focus on the younger generation\, to truly connect with our wonderful mountains and the flourishing garden of possibilities and wonders they offer. \n A unique opportunity to rediscover the deep bond between humanity and nature through excursions\,  trekking\,  workshops\, and residential activities dedicated to the youth\, led by expert environmental nature guides. \n The project will involve the Vincheto Nature Reserve\, managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Department of Belluno: a protected oasis according to the Ramsar Convention\, of international importance situated on the right bank of the Piave River.  Established in 1971\, it encompasses 92 hectares of wetlands with standing and flowing water\, riparian forests\, meadows\, and shrub lands. \n  Through guided tours\, participants will learn about the history\, biodiversity\, and significance of the natural site and its relationship with water. \n We will observe the waters\, the great trees\, the rocks and pebbles\, flowers\, and birds as inhabitants of the area\, recounting how humans have interacted with nature by cultivating trees\, gathering reeds\, and building mills. \n The guided tours of the reserve and half-day excursions are easy walks aimed at adults and families with children starting from 6 years old. \n Full-day excursions are aimed at adults and families with teenagers starting from 10 years old.
