DESCRIPTION:Inauguration April 3rd at 5:00 PM  Paintings dated from the 16th to the 19th century regarding St. Francis and the Franciscans \nAt the Galleria d’arte Moderna “Carlo Rizzarda”. \nThe exhibition offers a journey to discover the images of St. Francis and the Franciscans who played an important role in the life\, religiosity\, and culture of Feltre\, with particular attention to Blessed Bernardino Tomitano. \nThe sites and Franciscan convents of the city are illustrated\, some of which have disappeared\, and the figure of Father Antonio Cambruzzi\, author of the History of Feltre\, is also remembered. \nThe paintings dated from the 16th to the 19th century\, some of which have been restored for the occasion\, come from the civic museum and its deposits\, as well as from private collections. \nThey depict “the poor man of Assisi” now in mystical dialogue with nature\, now in meditation.An exciting journey through iconography\, symbols\, and places useful for a better understanding of the territory.

DESCRIPTION:It has been there for 3300 years\, a small witness of the era of great European archaeological sites. \nVisiting the ancient site of Noàl\, today Archaeological Park\, means rewinding the tape of time and returning to the Bronze Age\, the Iron Age\, and the Middle Ages. A place of evocative beauty\, between the Piave and Cordevole rivers\, Noàl has witnessed the succession of peoples and metallurgical innovations\, empires\, and warrior bishops. \nToday\, thanks to a long process of research and rediscovery\, the archaeological park of Noàl fully restores the mystery and energy of millennia of history and legends:  it is enough to close your eyes to imagine the first blacksmiths at work\, medieval music\, and songs. \nTo relive the history of Noàl\, within the Park there is an educational path equipped with panels illustrating the history of the place\, the research\, the findings\, and indicating the layers of different periods of the fortified settlement/castle. \nAt the top of the tower\, built to a height similar to the ancient one to protect its remains\, with a panoramic view of 360° over the valley and the peaks of the Belluno Dolomites Park\, is the educational classroom\, equipped with display cases housing perfect replicas of the found artifacts\, explanatory panels\, and panoramic panels to survey and identify the ancient network of castles\, protohistoric settlements\, lookout towers\, the main peaks of the surrounding mountains\, the villages\, the Piave\, and the Cordevole. \nIt is recommended to bring a windbreaker or a sweatshirt (the tower can have a cool breeze). \nIn case of bad weather\, visits will be canceled. \nFor group visits (+10 people)\, it is always necessary to book at this address giannidv42@gmail.com to agree on the timing. \nGuided tours of the archaeological park of Noal with the opening of the tower.

Visiting this place means discovering rare masterpieces\, such as the precious 15th-century tabernacle depicting the Albanian hero Skanderbeg\, and admiring splendid paintings of the local Renaissance. It is a building that tells a story of incredible resilience\, having survived devastating fires and the requisitions of the Great War thanks to the devotion of its inhabitants. Finally\, it houses the relics of Saint Faustus\, before which the ancient local families swore a historic peace that ended generations of bloody conflicts. \nThe dates on which it will be open are every first Saturday of the month from June to October (June 6\, July 4\, August 1\, September 5\, and October 3) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

It is part of the series “Countries\, Stories\, and Children” that involves the municipalities of the Provinces of Belluno\, Treviso\, Padua\, and Venice. \nShow by the Theater Company “Gli Alcuni” with Polpetta and Frollino. Puppet theater for ages: approximately 3/8 years old. \nThree wishes for three toys. What would happen if in the famous fairy tale by Aleksandr Pushkin the roles were reversed? \nIf the old fisherman Ivan\, after catching the golden fish\, told the story to his daughter Anna Polina and his brother Dimitri? \nHow might a boy’s wishes differ from those of a girl if they found themselves in front of a little golden fish that could grant a maximum of three wishes? \nThe wishes will start with sophisticated toys that are automatic\, which will ultimately prove to be little engaging for the two children; in short\, toys that “play by themselves\,” turning the children into mere passive spectators and limiting their ability to make even a simple gesture other than deciding to turn it off. \nTherefore\, the second wish goes towards a toy that can be handled and controlled. \nFinally\, the last wish: Anna Polina will ask her brother Dimitri to play together with him in their father Ivan’s boat\, who will tell them a fairy tale… \nThe show\, inspired by the fairy tale “The Golden Fish” by Aleksandr Pushkin\, wants to offer spectators a reflection on the games of girls and boys. What are their immediate wishes\, how their desires “deflate” in front of a new game that is more advertised than the previous one\, the value of playing together with peers and playing with parents. \nThe more shows you see\, the more prizes you will receive! DESCRIPTION:Cultural paths dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi \nThe cultural paths dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi and the Franciscans\, in the 800 years since the death of the saint\, develop in the City of Feltre and its immediate surroundings due to the numerous traces that are preserved there\, both in places of worship and in some historical sites of the citadel and in areas extra moenia. Among the main stops of the itinerary are the Co-cathedral of Feltre\, which houses altars and altarpieces\, fragments of frescoes\, sculptures\, and relics linked to the Franciscan saints\, or works coming from ancient convents of the Friars Minor or Conventuals (such as that of Santa Maria del Prato)\, the church of San Giacomo Maggiore\, on via Mezza­terra (which preserves works from the vanished convent of Santo Spirito)\, the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Borgo Tezze\, founded along with its convent of Poor Clare nuns by the friar Bernardino Tomitano from Feltre\, the church of the Sacred Heart on via Belluno\, which was built by the Franciscans more recently (20th century)\, along with the convent complex. Lastly\, the Shrine of Saints Vittore and Corona on Mount Miesna (Anzù)\, with images and architectures that recall the brotherhood of the Saint of Assisi. \nAmong the other historical buildings and city museums containing Franciscan memories – which will be visited during the paths – the Diocesan Museum Belluno-Feltre is noteworthy\, hosting important works depicting Saint Francis and Saint Clare\, as well as wooden and stone elements coming from vanished city convents. The Modern Art Gallery “Carlo Rizzarda” will also be a fundamental stop on the urban trek\, where one can admire the splendid wrought iron candelabrum by the teacher from Feltre with Franciscan saints; there\, the thematic exhibition that hosts paintings from the Civic Museum of via Luzzo will also be explained.
