SUMMARY:Villa Aperta
DESCRIPTION:It is recommended to wear appropriate shoes and clothing suitable for the place. \nVilla Modolo is one of the 15 major villas in the Province of Belluno\, included in the catalog of the hundred Venetian villas by Antonio Canova\, and represents one of the greatest examples of a villa perfectly integrated into the grand tradition of the most significant Venetian models. \nTraveling along the road that crosses the countryside of Modolo\, one arrives at a small square where the family chapel dedicated to Saint Lawrence stands. Passing through the 18th-century gate\, you enter the garden\, encounter the old barn\, and finally reach Villa Modolo\, a grand construction from the early 19th century designed by architect Andrea Miari. \nFrom here\, the guided tour begins\, during which we will discover together the history of the Miari family\, the Villa with its gardens\, the village\, and the agricultural territory that surrounds it.

DESCRIPTION:Inauguration Friday\, October 17 at 5:30 PM \nThe Middle Ages through paintings\, photographs\, artifacts\, much history and a lot of Palio\, all under the aegis of the Cultural Olympics Milano Cortina 2026. \nVisitors will be able to admire “the dualism between dream and reality that has characterized the Palio of Feltre 2025 and offers a double perspective: on one hand\, the Middle Ages imagined by artists\, writers\, and musicians between the 19th and 20th centuries as a source of myths and suggestions; on the other hand\, the Middle Ages of festivities and popular reenactments\, which transform history into collective ritual and shared identity\, and makes real\, with its social implications\, a dreamed Middle Ages.” \nAmong the exhibited works\, the painting by Lorenzo Delleani III in front of the destruction of Vicenza and the scenic sketches by Mario Pompei for the saga of Parisina stand out\, coming from the Vittoriale\, but there will also be figures of Beato Bernardino\, Panfilo Castaldi\, and Vittorino da Feltre. \n Of particular note was the restoration\, supported by the Palio Città di Feltre Association\, of some civic goods that will be displayed in the exhibition. \n Ample space is dedicated to the Palio of Feltre recounted through documents\, costumes\, heraldry\, and banners\, as well as the banners themselves\, autonomous works of art. \nHistorical posters from the Collezione Salce illustrate how reenactments were bent towards ideologies or tourism. \n Images and visions of the Middle Ages between the Nineteenth and Twentieth Century

SUMMARY:Fiera delle Anime
DESCRIPTION:It is said that the fair began in 1500 and was officially in 1666 by Pope Alexander VII who had established the Confraternity of SS. Sebastiano and Rocco in suffrage of the souls of Purgatory\, blessed Gregorio Barbarigo in the presence of a pastoral visit to Arsiè. \nOver time\, sacred and profane mixed and alongside the religious ceremonies gradually added to the market of animals and agricultural products attracting more and more visitors. \nToday\, there is ample space for artists\, artisans\, hobbyists\, food stalls with typical products\, demonstrations of cheese making by dairy farmers and honeys by beekeepers. \nMore than 40\,000 visitors each year come to Arsiè to take a dip in the past\, in simplicity\, tasting the typical and genuine products of local farmers and operators\, admire original works and floral compositions\, delicate hand-embroidered fabrics\, ironic and meticulous wood carvings and decorated objects. \nOne of the oldest traditional festivals in the whole province of Belluno

SUMMARY:Tracce di Foliage - Apple tasting: i gusti autentici delle mele
DESCRIPTION:Free entry by reservation\, until all available seats (35) are filled. \nReservations at the following site: www.eventbrite.com \nThe third edition of the review Tracks of Foliage is dedicated to the senses of autumn. After the colors and flavors\, the palette of autumn leaves connects to the clear sensations we can experience in nature. \nThe second appointment will be on Sunday\, October 19 at 3:30 PM with Alice Perego from Naturalpina Dolomiti\, who will highlight a beloved fruit\, the apple\, with a proposal for apple tasting in her orchard. \nThis fruit\, which is yet to be discovered\, contains many different tones: moving from the skin to the flesh\, it is exciting to identify the aromatic notes\, the texture\, and the structure of the different varieties\, with a sensory complexity to be rediscovered; and it is curious how\, unlike wine\, this is still little known. \nNaturalpina cultivates 9 varieties of apples\, selected after a long research that lasted months: 6 rare ancient cultivars that are difficult to find on the market and 3 “resistant” apples\, which are suitable for organic cultivation\, very different from each other. The visit includes a walk in the orchard to discover cultural and historical notes\, sharing interesting curiosities about this fruit. \nThrough a special path\, it will be possible to taste the ripe varieties and juices to learn to distinguish their different and curious flavors\, as well as discover some interesting recipes and the secrets of pairing the right apple with culinary preparations. \n \nGuided visit and tasting

With its characteristic basin shape\, it is a true paradise for hiking due to its forest\, which is the second largest in Italy. In this territory\, there is a Cimbrian ethnic settlement dating back to the early 1800s.Of German origin\, this population comes from Roana\, one of the seven municipalities of the Vicentine plateau\, which settled here due to the rich beech forests\, a plant species suitable for artisanal works. Currently\, the villages of Campon and Pian Osteria are inhabited by the Cimbri\, while there are traces of some typical constructions in Le Rotte\, Vallorch\, I Pich\, Pian Canaie\, Canaie\, Pian dei Lovi\, and Valbona. The historical building in Pian Osteria houses the Ethnographic Museum and the Cimbrian culture museum; it is open every day from June 15 to September 15 and can also be visited by reservation during other times of the year. Among the sections\, the first is dedicated to woodworking; the second is dedicated to the artisanal activities of the Cimbri; the third is dedicated to the library and the screening of videos about Cansiglio and Cimbrian culture\, its history\, and its legends. Finally\, the delightful dining: the restaurants in Cansiglio offer Cimbrian recipes passed down through generations. \nFor information\, call 333 3513668 or email francescoazzalini@libero.it.
