DESCRIPTION:The Giro d’Italia Women 2026 is set to offer a week of great cycling and entertainment on the roads of Northern Italy\, with nine stages and over 1150 kilometers overall from Cesenatico to Saluzzo. A challenging route that will cross Emilia-Romagna\, Veneto\, Friuli Venezia Giulia\, Trentino Alto-Adige\, Lombardy\, and Piedmont\, with more than 12\,000 meters of elevation gain and some decisive segments for the overall classification. \nA demanding Dolomitic stage is scheduled for Wednesday\, June 5: 138 kilometers characterized by a challenging elevation profile\, lacking any real recovery stretches. \nThe stage starts from Longarone and initially develops along the Piave Valley\, continuing into the Boite Valley\, with a constant and progressive ascent towards Cortina d’Ampezzo. \nAfter this first segment\, the route gets serious with the climb of Passo Tre Croci and Passo di Sant’Antonio\, key junctions that lead into the final circuit. \nHere\, the riders will face an initial ascent towards Costalissoio\, followed by a technical descent and passing under the finish line\, before tackling the concluding climb back up to Costalissoio\, which is expected to be decisive for the outcome of the stage. \nPassage of the cycling race

Among the main stops of the itinerary are the Co-cathedral of Feltre\, which houses altars and altarpieces\, fragments of frescoes\, sculptures\, and relics linked to the Franciscan saints\, or works coming from ancient convents of the Friars Minor or Conventuals (such as that of Santa Maria del Prato)\, the church of San Giacomo Maggiore\, on via Mezza­terra (which preserves works from the vanished convent of Santo Spirito)\, the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Borgo Tezze\, founded along with its convent of Poor Clare nuns by the friar Bernardino Tomitano from Feltre\, the church of the Sacred Heart on via Belluno\, which was built by the Franciscans more recently (20th century)\, along with the convent complex. DESCRIPTION:The first Italian road cycling marathon on a 1\,850 m city circuit \nThe 24 hours of Feltre is the only cycling marathon on the road in Italy that takes place on a completely car-free city circuit. It is a relay race with teams consisting of 12 cyclists each. \n It works like a relay: in turn\, the athletes of the team take turns pedaling for 24 hours.   There are 90 registered teams supplemented by 30 individuals\, the so-called Only One\, who ride alone for 24 hours. \n In recent years\, the event has become a real happening where champions from various sports\, music and entertainment personalities\, and famous entrepreneurs come together to pedal.  \n For a couple of years now\, the 24 hours has been a “battlefield” between the team led by actor Paolo Kessisoglu\, who supports a project for young people called “C’è da fare\,” and entrepreneur Renzo Rosso from Vicenza\, owner of Diesel\, who leads a team of famous personalities pedaling to support the projects of the OTB Foundation\, Only the Brave\, which creates solidarity shops for families in need. \n  Each lap pedaled has an economic value; the winner is the one who completes the most laps in 24 hours and thus earns a check to support their project.  \n Here in Feltre\, there are always extraordinary guests\, and we are waiting to learn about the teams and the novelties of 2026!

As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.

DESCRIPTION: Market on the theme of reuse\, recycling\, and restoration \nAmong the numerous exhibitions ranging from flea markets to antique markets in Veneto\, the Fiera dell’oggetto ritrovato held in the historic center of Feltre on the second Sunday of the month\, from April to December\, stands out for its focus on the themes of reuse\, recycling\, and restoration. \nIn the stalls between Piazza Maggiore and via Mezzaterra\, there are those who sell\, those who exchange\, those who enhance\, and those who simply want to give things a second life. \nYou’ll find items for sale of all kinds and from all eras: from antiques to modern collectibles to second-hand goods. From porcelain to vintage clothes\, from records to wooden boxes\, from tools used by our grandparents to coins… there’s something for everyone! \nThe stalls and gazebos are surrounded by frescoed buildings and the imposing medieval structure of the Castle of Alboino; the beautiful Teatro de la Sena (closed for restoration)\, an original miniature of the more famous Gran Teatro la Fenice in Venice\, the Carlo Rizzarda Modern Art Gallery\, the Civic Museum\, and the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art are all worth a visit\, conveniently located in the historic center and with very low entrance fees.

DESCRIPTION:The hardest Granfondo in Europe \n  It is certainly one of the toughest in Europe! \n  But how did the Gran Fondo come about? The story is of a group of friends passionate about cycling who often get together to climb the nearby Dolomites while having fun in each other’s company.  There are about ten or so of them back in 1988 who decide to found a new cycling club. \nIn the following years\, the committee decides to forge a strong new alliance with the territory and the partnership with Sportful is born\, the world leader in cycling apparel\, leading to the event being renamed Gran Fondo Sportful. \n   In 2009\, the Dolomites were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site\, and the organizing committee decided to pay tribute by changing the name to Sportful Dolomiti Race since 90% of the route passes through the UNESCO site.  \n Awaiting the Gran Fondo participants on June 21st will be the traditional Gran Fondo of 200km and almost 5\,000m of total elevation gain with a new route that will touch the heart of the Belluno Dolomites with breathtaking scenery like Mount Pelmo\, which is referred to as “el caregon del Padreterno\,” the “throne of God” for its characteristic shape: two monoliths with a central depression that give it the appearance of a gigantic throne.. \n  Those who choose the Medio Fondo route will face 120 km with 2\,450m of elevation gain. \n  For everyone\, the finish will be in the beautiful setting of the historic center of Feltre.
