DESCRIPTION: All events are free to attend.Access to the conferences and screenings is free until seating is full. \n  \n \nALESSIO BERTOLLIBorn in Trento in 1975\, he moved to Brentonico in 1978 and has been interested in botany since childhood\, thanks to the passion transmitted by his parents. A biologist\, he has worked at the Civic Museum of Rovereto since 2000\, serving as Deputy Director since 2016. As part of the flora cartography project for the provinces of Trento and Verona\, he has published numerous interesting findings. He has coordinated and written several scientific and popular science volumes focused on the natural environment dedicated to Monte Baldo\, Trentino\, and Northern Italy. \nCONFERENCE: ENDEMIC FLORA IN NORTHERN ITALYAt the end of 2024\, a substantial volume (542 pages) dedicated to the endemic plants present in Northern Italy will be published by Athesia\, focusing on the most important component of the flora in this territory. The authors of the volume (19 people)\, coordinated by the Civic Museum Foundation of Rovereto\, are the referents of floristic cartography projects in Northern Italy\, which together have more than 1500 collaborators.Building on the results published in the volume\, knowledge of the unique natural heritage of Veneto and the Eastern Alps will be shared\, providing citizens with an awareness of the importance of their heritage viewed in an Italian and cross-border context\, enhancing the culture of “high” scientific dissemination literature. \n  \nPresentation of the Atlas “Endemic Flora in Northern Italy”. She will explain the regulations on recreational cannabis and the updates to the Highway Code concerning the consumption of both therapeutic and recreational cannabis. Her images unite nature and sky\, exploiting light situations\, atmospheric and celestial phenomena to tell deep visual stories. Alessandra is also a supporting photographer for the Dolomites UNESCO Foundation\, committed to enhancing and preserving the Dolomite landscape\, paying homage to the beauty and biodiversity of this extraordinary territory. \nWalter Argenta is originally from Santa Giustina (BL) but has always considered himself a Lentiaiese\, living in Lentiai – Borgo Valbelluna. A self-taught photographer\, he believes in the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words.” He loves to travel\, capturing places and people. A significant part of his work has always been directed towards art and architecture photography\, alongside esteemed scholars and contributing to the awareness of the many historical and artistic treasures present in Valbelluna.
