DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, September 28\, 2025\, at 5:30 PM at the headquarters of the Can – Cullogne Committee\, there will be a presentation of the poetry book “L’altra nostra anima – da sponda a sponda” by Antonio Andrich and Patrizia Burigo. Antonio and Mattia Andrich will animate this event filled with dialogues\, readings\, music\, and songs. An event that celebrates the printing of the collection of verses written jointly by Antonio Andrich and Patrizia Burigo. A project born in 2020 and became a reality in 2024\, after Patrizia sadly passed away in July 2022. A great loss for all friends\, but also for the entire Belluno community. The book embraces the many themes of our daily lives through the use of poetic language\, its evocative power\, images\, emotions\, and revelations.Book presentation of the poetry “Our Other Soul – From Shore to Shore” by Antonio Andrich and Patrizia Burigo

A few weeks earlier\, I told Gianluca that I would like to choose a film from those scheduled every day\, design a poster\, print it\, and place it at the entrance of the Modernissimo. One poster a day for a year. Gianluca said\, let’s do it. \nAmong the five or six films shown each day\, one had to be chosen\, watched\, studied\, and an image sought. Sometimes it surfaced immediately\, and other times it honestly seemed impossible. Restored archeological films\, premieres\, cartoons\, comedies\, documentaries\, truly iconic images that are in our memory and sentimental appointments with films that have changed me\, my girlfriend’s favorite\, my brother’s\, my closest friends. \nEvery day\, I had a different reason to go to the table and engage with a fragment of cinematography\, drawing in color to search for the lights and the reasons behind this cosmogony of stories that have come to life from a human chorus made up of voices that are surprising and unique to me. Stefano Ricci \nWe will be expertly welcomed by Chiara Alpago Novello at 9:30 for breakfast with coffee\, tea\, all the good things needed to start the day right: cookies\, yogurt and cheeses\, fruit jams\, and whatever the morning and the season inspire\, all from 0 km. With its characteristic basin shape\, it is a true paradise for hiking due to its forest\, which is the second largest in Italy. In this area\, there is a Cimbrian ethnic settlement dating back to the early 1800s. Of German origin\, this population comes from Roana\, one of the seven municipalities of the Vicentine plateau\, which settled here due to the rich beech forests\, a plant species suitable for craftsmanship.Currently\, the villages of Campon and Pian Osteria are inhabited by the Cimbri\, while traces of some typical buildings remain in Le Rotte\, Vallorch\, I Pich\, Pian Canaie\, Canaie\, Pian dei Lovi\, and Valbona. The historic building of Pian Osteria houses the ethnographic museum and Cimbrian culture; it is open every day from June 15 to September 15 and can be visited by reservation during other times of the year. Among the sections\, the first is dedicated to wood processing; the second is dedicated to the artisanal activities of the Cimbri; the third is dedicated to the library and the screening of videos about Cansiglio and Cimbrian culture\, its history\, and its legends. DESCRIPTION:Mattmark disaster show \n  \nOn the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mattmark disaster\, an event that occurred on August 30\, 1965\, in Switzerland\, causing one of the most serious workplace tragedies involving Italian emigrants\, especially from the Belluno area\, The Bellunesi Association in The World aims to remember what happened through an immersive exhibition composed of photographs\, documents\, films\, and video interviews with survivors and family members of the victims. \nDuring the construction of the largest dam in Europe\, a massive chunk of ice from the Allalin glacier (about two million cubic meters) broke off and overwhelmed the workers’ accommodations\, causing 88 deaths\, of which 56 were Italians and 17 were from Belluno. The last body was found two years later. The warning signs had been ignored\, but in the trials of 1972\, all the defendants were acquitted\, and the victims’ families even had to pay half of the legal costs. A tragedy without justice that profoundly marked the collective memory of the area. \nAn exhibition to understand what happened from the voice of those who were there\, from the words of those who saw their lives change in that disaster.
