Rai has dedicated two programs to her professional work: Cose Nostre (Rai 1) and Nuovi Eroi (Rai 3). Swiss TV RSI has also dedicated an in-depth analysis to her. \nShe has won many journalism awards\, including the Mariagrazia Cutuli\, the Wangari Maathai\, Investigative Journalism\, and three recognitions in the Journalist of the Year Award\, Rampino\, Paone\, and Civitas. She is the author of several essays\, including MafiEuropa\, on mafia infiltrations in various European states. She coordinated part of the editorial team for the investigative program REC on Rai 3 and produced reports for Linea Notte\, La storia siamo noi\, Crash\, and other programs. Life is a continuous self-determination. Every step leaves a mark\, which constitutes the trace on the path that does not exist before being traveled. \nThe association TILT – Together We Work for the Territory builds its path by sharing experiences\, seeking alliances\, stimulating action\, without looking for a pre-marked road. On the occasion of the so-called “International Women’s Day\,” it aims not only to celebrate but to reflect and provoke reflection by seeking women who somehow leave traces and encouraging personal and group awareness. DESCRIPTION:Since the autumn of 1943\, the Belluno mountains became one of the fundamental strategic areas in the military chessboard of the Second World War. Among the consequences of this situation was the birth of a strong and rooted Resistance movement. On the Feltrine Summits\, one of the largest partisan brigades in Italy had its operational base. \nThe historian and teacher at the G. Dal Piaz High School\, Marcello Della Valentina\, presents the book Nicolotto da Celarda\, the first partisan of the Belluno mountains. The meeting will take place at the Caffè Letterario ENAIP in Borgo Ruga No. 40 of the Tina Merlin Campus in Feltre. \nThe work offers an interesting in-depth look at the role the Feltrine Summits played during the Resistance period\, through the historical and critical lens of Marcello Della Valentina. After all\, I had a role\, a company affiliation\, a business card that said: Press Office Feltrinelli. This didn’t explain everything; in fact\, it hardly explained anything\, because what a press office (of a publishing house\, no less) actually does is something no one really knows for sure. But in any case\, it was a job: I went to the office every day\, sometimes I traveled for work\, I had a manager\, colleagues\, and panettone at Christmas. \nIt was all clearer. \nAt one point\, however – I was forty-two years old\, had three small children\, and no grandparents to leave them with – I thought it wise to create a bit more disorder in my professional life. I quit my job and went back to studying. Two years later\, I started working as an interpreter\, collaborating with publishers\, festivals\, and literary awards\, and soon other projects came along: writing\, translation\, event organization\, communication. Quite a lot\, in short\, and all always around or in proximity to books. \nFrom one perspective\, my mom has every reason to be a bit confused. What she perhaps doesn’t know is that\, as I see it\, these professions are the same thing\, or nearly so. Because everything I do somehow relates to the use of words. The charm of language. Empathy. Everything has to do with receiving a message and interpreting it. \nThis is what I should tell my mom when she asks me how on earth I make a living: I pick up on a communicative intention\, take it on\, and try to convey it as best I can. Sonia Folin \nSaturday at 9:30 AM breakfast. The initiative proposes a “reading” that will involve young people from Belluno with different abilities\, together with readers of the spoken book\, artists\, and enthusiasts\, to tell the glorious stories of the 1956 Olympics. \nThe event in Belluno will be the first of three: two more days will follow in Feltre\, on March 28th\, and in Cortina\, on April 12th. Participants will include boys and girls from the associations ASSI\, AIPD\, and the Italian Union of the Blind\, who will share their voices and perspectives in a reading and history moment open to all\, designed to enhance inclusivity and participation.  \nThe CILP\, established with the goal of breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for everyone through reading\, will work to ensure that this event becomes a moment of sharing\, demonstrating once again in its long history how culture and inclusion can walk together. In December 1965\, 13 men including her ex-boyfriend burst into her home\, beating her mother and abducting Franca and her little brother. \nThe little brother would be released after two days while Franca remained a prisoner for 10 days\, suffering violence and rape. Her virginity had been given to a rapist: an abuse that would have been\, by law and tradition\, a mark of ownership that freed the ex-boyfriend from any crime thanks to article 544. \nFranca\, supported by her father\, said no. The two of them against everyone. No testimony in their favor. Absolute omertà. This time not in favor of the mafia\, but to protect an entire system – an entire state. \nArticle 544 of the civil code regulated the so-called “repairing marriage.” Women were equated to male property\, particularly in cases of so-called “crimes against public morality\,” such as sexual violence. In these cases\, it was not the victim who was protected\, but rather the social good manners\, which had to be safeguarded even at the cost of the freedom of choice of women who had suffered violence. \nThe repairing marriage represented\, until its abolition in 1981\, a way out for those who had committed rape. Many probably thought that this article was created to be repealed\, but no one had the courage to denounce it as it was part of a deeply rooted culture accepted by everyone. \nThis text aims to shake\, heal\, and dismantle a mentality that seems linked to the past but actually lives in our present.
